The Agents of Exodia

"Hoho, I see a pipsqueak, is he really a hero?" A handsome man with blue hair and red eyes asked the lady that was sitting on a bench in the plaza. The lady had long dark-brown hair and her blue eyes were hidden behind fashionable pink sunglasses.

She gave the little boy a sidelong glance before returning her gaze in the book she was reading. "He must be one. I doubt that the hero is the fat girl beside him. Wouldn't that be too disappointing?"

"Actually the fat girl doesn't look too shabby," The blue haired hero smiled. "Just look at that waist, Those meaty legs and arms. It's very rare to see a top-class beauty like her in this company. All I see are skinny women!"

The hero gave his master a cursory glance. "Actually, Heidi, you should gain a bit more weigh--".

The guy wasn't able to finish his sentence because a book slammed on his head. "You pervert and your Fat Fetish!"

The hero looked at his master feeling wronged. "What's wrong with being fat? Don't you know that they will survive longer during a plague because they have more fat stored in their body? People like you wouldn't last long because you're too skinny!"

"Shut up, bastard Elliot!" Heidi kicked her chosen hero. At first, she was very satisfied when she summoned him. Although Elliot was only a Three-Starred Hero, his looks, personality, and charm were endearing. The only problem was his fetish. If not for his infatuation towards chubby girls, Heidi would have already made him her boyfriend.

"Heidi, listen," Elliot grabbed her hand and talked to her in a gentle manner. "Eating a few slices of cake after "every" meal will help you in the future. If you like, I can even make you some pudding right now. Do you want it?"

"Stop trying to make me gain weight!"

"Che~"

Elliot released his hold on Heidi and resumed observing Alex and Abbie from a distance. "Shouldn't we go over there and introduce ourselves? It's always good to make new friends."

"There's no need to rush," Heidi replied. She brushed her hair with a hand and fixed her glasses. "Let the others move first, we can always introduce ourselves later."

"Good point," Elliot agreed.

Similar discussions were being held by a few masters and servants in the plaza. They were giving Abbie and Alex varying looks of appraisal.

A few people walked towards the center of the plaza. They were the agents who were still not able to find their chosen candidates. These people were acquaintances of Alice and they were very curious about what kind of candidate she chose to represent her.

"Alice, it seems that the news about you finding a candidate is true," A burly man wearing black jeans and a black jacket said when he was only a few meters away from Alice.

"Ah, so it's you, K," Alice greeted the newcomer with a smile. "Still haven't found anyone that catches your fancy?"

"Sadly, no. I guess my standards are pretty high."

"You should lower them then."

The man named K scratched his cheek. "I'll give it a week. If I still don't find someone who suits my tastes, I'll just settle for second best."

Alice nodded her head. K was a good friend of hers and the two of them had helped each other on various occasions. If the man was able to find a good candidate, Alice would also be happy for him.

"Allow me to introduce you to my candidate." Alice gestured to her side. "Her name is Abbie, she's a university student. This is her summoned hero, Alex, isn't he a cutie?"

"It's a pleasure to meet the two of you." K nodded his head. "I used to be a chef, but now I'm just a lazy bum who is wandering around. If an occasion arises, I'll invite you to taste my cooking."

"Oh! Please invite me, too!," Alice nudged K from the side. "Abbie, K is the uncrowned king of the culinary world. He may look shabby, but he's actually a 20-Starred Michelin Chef. The Kings, Queens, President and Prime Minister's of various countries did their best to hire him as their personal chef, but he refused them all. I only tasted his cooking once and believe me when I say that it's otherworldly!"

"Hush, little girl, you praise me too much." K shook his head helplessly. "That was in the past. Now I'm just a nobody."

"Hmp! If you're a nobody, then I do not exist," an agent who was beside K said with a sneer.

Another agent wearing a polo shirt chuckled. "Alright, calm down boys, there's no need to quarrel here."

There were seven people in total who greeted Alice. Arthur just watched from the side with a knowing look on his face.

"You guys, why are you only greeting me?" Alice asked with a frown. "Come on, don't be shy, introduce yourselves to Abbie! Let's start with you K."

"But I already did," K grumbled, but still decided to take the initiative to make the others follow suit.

"The name is K. I can cook a feast fit for a king," K introduced himself again.

"Please, let me eat your cooking soon!" Abbie replied with a smile.

"The name is Sarah," A girl with shoulder length black hair stepped forward. "My hair is longer than my will to live."

"Um, I don't really know what's going on, but hang in there, ok?"

"Thank you."

A skinny man with tanned skin wearing a Haiwaiian shirt gave Abbie a dazzling smile. "The name is Matthew and my teeth are brighter than my future!"

'Argh! Too bright!' Abbie shielded her eyes from the blinding smile. "Hey! Do you know that flashing is immoral?'

A tall man that seemed to be at least 195 cm (6.5 ft) thumped his chest with vigor. "You can call me Jason. My special skill is drinking water through my nose!"

'Ew! Ew! Ew!'

A skinny man with a haggard face and bloodshot eyes grasped the air in front of him with his hands. "Pleased to meet you. I am Evans. I can crush people's heads with my bare hands!"

'What's with you? You're scary.'

Abbie saw some movement from the corner of her eyes. She unconsciously turned her head and found two handsome guys with short auburn hair that looked exactly the same walking towards her. The chubby girl didn't have to be a genius to know that the two of them were twins.

The only way to differentiate them was the colored earring that the two hunks were wearing. One was wearing a red earring, the other blue.

The one with the red earring crossed his arms over his chest and gave Abbie a devilish smile. "I have bedded countless women! You can call me Isaac."

Abbie rolled her eyes at him. 'Who cares about you, you piece of SHIT?! PITUI!'

The one wearing a blue earring imitated his twin brother and crossed his arms as well. "The name is Ian, and I have bedded countless men!"

"Hello nice to meet you! Are you free this afternoon? We should sit down and talk. I could learn a lot from you!" A smile bloomed on Abbie's face as she gazed at Ian with sparkling eyes.

"Sure," Ian answered with a smile.

"M-Master, you shouldn't," Alex tugged Abbie's dress from the side. "We have an appointment with the University Dean today." He didn't want his master to learn a weird hobby. He glared at Ian while the other only gave him a wink. Alex shuddered at Ian's reaction and hid behind Abbie.

Ian's eyes twinkled and a similar devilish smile like his brother appeared on his face. It was as if he was saying "Relax little boy. You are safe, for now."

Alex shot him a glare filled with disdain that said "Alex only belongs to Master!" Abbie was oblivious to the hidden exchange between the two. She didn't know that these two would start butting heads with each other in the near future.

"Ah, right, I forgot we have a prior appointment," Abbie said with disappointment. "Perhaps some other time?"

"As long as I'm free." Ian replied with a carefree smile.

"Thank you!"

Alex made a mental note to keep an eye on the man named Ian. Who knows what kind of things he would teach Abbie? The young boy clenched his small fist. He wouldn't allow his master to spend some time alone with him!
