(Ivan's POV)

Before I could open the door I heard someone scream. What the hell is happening in there?

"Stop! Stop!" Is it too late to turn back now? Boom! On the other side of the door I heard pieces of glass fall to the ground.

"God dammit! Alex pick this up now!"

"I don't wanna!" I'm just gonna wait for a little bit. I don't want to deal with what ever is happening right now. I heard more people start to scream, most of the voices sounded like little kids. There were some people laughing, but most of the laughing were drowned by the sea of screams. Someone yelled for everyone to calm down; no one listened. A faint ring can be heard through the door. The screams quickly died down. I heard a few murmurs, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. I waited for a few seconds before hesitantly knocking on the door. I would open the door, but after everything I just heard? I wouldn't even want to come close to this building. The door opens up to reveal a female teenager with dark rings under her eyes. She looked kind of annoyed.

"What?" Her glare kind of scared me. I instinctively stared at the ground.

"I-I was told to come here." She mutters "shit" under her breath quietly.

"You new?"

"Yes." She let out a sigh. The girl stepped to the side.

"Alright." It was obvious that she would rather be anywhere else in the world. I felt guilty for bothering her. "Come inside and pick a bed. They're the holes at the end of building. Don't be loud. Don't bother me, I'm want to go to sleep." I nod silently. She walked back inside, leaving me outside. I hesitantly walk inside. My eyes widen as I see how huge the building was. There were rectangular holes on the ground at the end of the building. There were desks near the front that almost left no space to move around. Other than that, most of the building was empty. There were handles coming out of the ground and some were on the walls. I didn't think much of the handles.

The desks was covered in a orange liquid. Some of the slime dripped onto the ground. Near the desk was books, broken beakers, and some tools were scattered on the ground. How did this even happen? I maneuvered through the desks. There were some kids covered in the orange liquid picking up the stuff on the floor. They had tears in their eyes. Once I got passed the desks, I hear something crack beneath my feet.

"Be careful there's glass." One of the kids said. No shit. I stepped back and lifted the pieces of glass in the air. I put the pieces of glass in one pile. I heard a gasp. "Can you pick up the other stuff too?" I look at them. They looked slightly worried.

"No."

"But why?"

" I don't wanna."

"Aren't we siblings? We should help each other."

"I don't even know you."

"Asshole." They went back to cleaning up the mess. I walk to the end of the building and look in one of the holes. There was a nicely made bed in the hole. I notice pairs of shoes near some handles on the ground. They really do sleep in the floor. Why though? I take off my shoes and put them in my inventory. I get in the hole and reach for the handle. A piece of floor slowly covers the floor and I get engulfed in darkness. Instinctively I look around for a screen. It took me awhile to realize that there was no screen. This kind of reminds me of my bed. Except my bed is better. I lay on my side trying to get comfortable. I don't wanna go to sleep. I just want to go to a parade.

I closed my eyes, trying to fall asleep. It took me few seconds to make me feel restless. I take out a flashlight and take out a book. I turn on the flashlight and open the book. Hopefully someone wakes up soon, I'm bored.

8:12 am

(Ivan's POV)

I hear something scrape the floor above me. Finally, someones up! I was so bored. I lift the wood with the wind and poke my head out. There was a dark-skinned person groggily climbing out of the hole. He noticed me and waved. I waved back.

"Have I seen you before."

"Nope, just got here." He nodded silently.

"Did you get a tour of the camp yet?" I shook my head. There was a second of silence between us.

"So, when Am'I getting the tour."

"When we train."

"When do we train?" At least I got some time to rest, everyone is still in their holes.

"Now." Dammit. I just fought some random crackhead, let me rest.. He reaches for his back pocket. He pulls out a bell and rings it loudly. Almost instantly people begin rising from out of the holes. I climbed out from my hole. I take out my shoes and start putting them on. The room was filled with muttering. Mostly people complaining about running so early in the morning. It's just running, I should be fine.My Dex stat is high, running isn't a problem. I start heading towards the door, a group was already waiting outside. The older kids had dark rings under their eyes, some even had raccoon eyes. The ones with raccoon eyes were swaying on their feet. The younger kids looked fine.

I joined the group waiting for run the to start. The dark skinned person I saw earlier was at the front group. It looked like he was trying to calm everyone down. Mostly everyone was ignoring him. Suddenly a fist rose from the ground, the fist quickly slammed into the ground. At first nothing happened, after a few seconds I felt the ground rumble beneath me. It took every inch of my power to keep on standing. Almost everyone fell to the ground, only me and a few others were left standing. The ground suddenly stopped shaking. There was this weird sensation in my legs. It felt like my legs were vibrating.

"Now can everyone be quiet please?" The dark skinned person yelled. "I wanted to tell you guys that we are meeting with the Raijin kids before starting." There were some kids among the crowd were excited. Some others were complaining about falling on the ground. I couldn't blame them, I hate the feeling in my legs right now. He turned around and led the group towards somewhere. I didn't know where we were going, I was just trying to not get lost from the group. As I walked through the camp, I notice some people sleeping outside. They looked like they passed out while they were standing.

We walk through a pavilion, the pavilion was huge! It had at least enough space to fit two hundred people. The tables were abnormally clean, no sign of graffiti or food was shown. As we walked through the camp, I notice that was no snow on the ground. Isn't it November? Unlike Chicago, it was hot outside. Definitely not in Chicago anymore that's for sure. It didn't more than five minutes to learn that the camp was huge. It didn't help that almost every building looked almost exactly the same. The only way I can tell them apart is that some buildings had signs in front of the buildings that said what the building was for. How can anyone find their way around this camp?

After maybe about thirty minutes of walking we finally met up with the Raijin cabin. The two groups quickly mixed together, soon I couldn't tell who was in the Fūjin cabin and who was in the Raijin cabin. I couldn't tell before, but it would've have been nice to learn who were my siblings. I notice the person who guy I talked to earlier walk up to a girl and peck her on the cheek. People talked for a little bit before the group suddenly started jogging. I stayed in the back of the group. I wasn't looking forward to running around the camp. The camp had to be at least a mile long, maybe even longer.

The leader of the cabin appeared at my side. "If you're feeling tired feel free to stop. Everyone starts somewhere." I looked at him, slightly annoyed, for a few seconds.

"I'm fine. Why are asking?"

"Oh I'm just asking." He hesitated for a second. "You know since you're kind of new." I nod and quickly use Inspect on him. If I I'am going to talk to someone I want to at least know their name.

Nate Nook

Leader of the Fūjin cabin.

Oh, no wonder everyone listens to him. "I still have some ex-" I had to catch my breath for a moment. Talking while running is hard. "exper-ience run-ning." He nodded silently. It was only a few minutes into our running when people starting slowing down. It was slowly becoming hard to breathe, but I still went on. In the corner of my eye, Nate was staring intensely at me.

"Oh, you want to learn something? It's gonna be real quick." I really don't want to hear a stranger say that, especially when the stranger is older than me.

"Sure." He took a deep breath and his hands starting making weird hand signs, his heads started looking like blur. The second his hands stopped moving I felt a gust of wind force it's way into my lungs. I stopped for minute. It didn't hurt, it just felt, weird. The second the feeling went away my body felt lighter. Next to my health bar there was picture of a tiny, cartoonish person running. I see Nate waiting for me. Might as well keep on running. On my first step I notice how easy it was to breathe. It felt unsettling. I didn't like how different it felt. I ignored the feeling and kept on running.

I ran with little effort. By now my legs would feel heavy, now they don't even feel like they're there. I have to learn that trick. "So how did you that?" It was even easier to talk.

"It's called magic. I can teach you a few things later if you want." I nod my head. "Oh do you anything abo-" The sky suddenly turns a scarlet red. That doesn't look good.I'm pretty sure the sky doesn't do that.

"Is this normal?" He ignored me. Nate stopped dead in his tracks. His eyes widen, his took a deep breath a put his hands on my shoulders. "Sorry something came up. Just stay with a group of people, and don't wander off. Okay?" Before I could answer he ran off. A few of the older kids followed him. Only about two teens were left. They looked at each other with worry in their eyes. One of the teens yelled at everyone to follow him. The other teen made sure everyone no one was left behind. I heard some of the kids mutter something about being locked up again for days. The teens walked us to some cabin in the middle of the camp. Most of the kids were complaining about going into the cabin. The teens stared at them blankly before picking them up and throwing them into cabin. The teens started throwing kids into the cabin without giving them a chance to go in themselves.

I heard a few feet steps behind me, I quickly turned around only to see another group of kids appear. Some of the kids tried rushing into the building. I quickly backed off. I wasn't in any rush. I suddenly feel my shoulder tingle. I have to fight now? I frantically look around for something that may attack me. I thought camp was supposed to be safe! I suddenly feel something sharp dig into my shoulders. Something jerked me up into the air and carried me into the sky. I look at my shoulder only to see talons digging into my skin. I bite my lip as I look up to see what owned the talons. There was a small, otter like creature struggling to carry me. I take out a katana and stab it in the stomach. The creature quickly lets go off me.

I feel blood flow down my arm as the ground rushed up to greet me. I use the wind to cushion my fall. The creature fell on the ground, the creature didn't move a muscle. Is it already dead? I didn't think it would die that quickly. I look around, there I was nothing I could recognize around me. There was a modern looking building in front of me. I could hide there. Something behind me quickly rushes up to me. I swiftly turn around to see a red Oni charge towards me with a club in its hands. Unlike before, this Oni wasn't decomposing. I drop the katana and take out Retribution in its duel wield form.. Before the Oni could reach me I use Wind Slash to cut its legs. The Oni jumped and brought down its club in front of me. I quickly jump back, then I swiftly rush up to its chest to stab it. In a blur, the Oni kicked me in the chest. I lost my grip on my swords as I was sent flying a few feet away from the Oni. As I landed on my back I felt the middle of my back tingle, I heard the dirt crumble under me. I use Wind's Cannon to launch myself into the air. I then use Wind's Cannon again to launch myself to the side, once my feet it the ground I tried my hardest to not throw up. It felt impossible ignoring the waves of pain in my stomach.I quickly use Ice Exoskeleton and use the wind to get back my weapons. In the corner of my eye a blur jumps out of the ground.

A large, ape creature landed a few feet away from me.. The ape wore a hat that said "What's going on?". It wore a purple cape around its neck. It opened its mouth to yawn. As it opened its mouth I could see tiny speckles of blood on its teeth. I backed up a little bit. In the distance the Oni threw its club in my direction. The ape jumped into the air and caught it. When it landed on the floor it rushed at me. Seeing a ape run towards me startled me a lot. I tried moving my legs in an effort to escape. I don't know if the ape had some sort of power or if it was fear, but it hard was hard to move my legs. My legs wanted to give up, it took all my willpower to not collapse right then and there. As the ape got closer I felt a surge of adrenaline take over my body. I sent a arrow of wind towards at its torso. The ape dogged to side. The ape took a huge leap towards me.

I took swipe at the side of its head. Instead of the blade making a cutting into its skull the ape's head jerked to the side. Before I could comprehend what happened the ape grabbed my arm. I hear my Ice Exoskeleton crack from the force of the ape's grip. I use a Wind Arrow to shoot its arm; the arrow penetrates the skin, but it wasn't able to completely go through its arm. The ape let go of my arm as blood started gushing out of its arm. I stepped to the side and kicked the ape in its stomach. I felt something try to attack the back of my head. I quickly duck and swing my sword as I turned around. One of my swords got stuck in middle of the Oni's leg. I felt my head and my back tingle at the same time.

I close my eyes and thought of ice in the shape of a dome surrounding me. I heard the faint thump of the yokai banging on the ice. I opened my eyes only to find the Oni's leg somehow fused with the ice. The leg was split in half by the ice. I use the chance to drink a small mp potion. I know my Mp was increased by a lot when I first got Sombra but I still had to make sure it was high, who know when I can run out of Mp to use. Wait I have Sombra. Why didn't I use Sombra before? I grab my necklace and shake it. The necklace began to glow, but nothing happened. Bastard. I hear the ice crack behind me. I spun around and send a blast of wind in the direction of the hole. The ape flew back a few feet. I melt the ice and quickly use Wind Slash on the Oni's neck. I pull out the sword from the Oni's leg and leg it. I notice that my stamina bar hasn't gotten down at all during the fight. Weird. I'm not complaining, but it was still weird. I hear the ape scream. Hearing the scream made my legs move faster. I ran into closest building that I saw earlier. The building was huge compared to the other buildings. I run inside and slammed door shut. I heard a girl scream behind.

"Why the hell are you being so loud!"
