It is not that easy and Ashton has been stuck in that realization for awhile now, not wanting to believe that life could be so cruel.

We fight to be seen and acknowledged by the ones we care about. But is it really worth it, when you give your all and it's still not enough. Corey is conflicted, fighting with his own brain, not knowing if he should take a step back or keep going.

Both of them need a break, someone that will listen and comfort them, without making a fuss.

I Want My Forever

Ashton hurriedly jumped out of bed, when he saw the clock on the wall. It was nearing seven AM.


"Dammit. I'm gonna be late." He cursed, at himself. Knowing, he knows. 


'Dad is still on the floor.' Ashton sighed, before jumping out of his clothes, that he had worn the previous day. And grabbing the first thing he could get his hands on, in the pile of clean clothes.


A pair of denim skinny jeans. A burgundy colored, ripped T-shirt and no socks, just on with the shoes, grab an apple and run.


Which was exactly what he did. Taking a hurdle jump over his father, grabbing an apple on the go and slamming open the small door.


Then he ran, he ran as fast as he could. 'I can't be late, it can't be.'


When he finally arrived at the bus stop, he froze in his place. As bus drove away and he wasn't on it.


'The next bus arrives in two hours. Then it takes one hour to get there. Shit, I won't be in time."


"Corey, Corey. Mom is coming upstairs to wake you up. You missed breakfast." Cole poked at his sleeping brother, who was leaning over their desk. Covering the most of the magazine laying under his chest. But not enough.


Cole had seen that Corey was sleeping by the desk, when he woke up. He had thought that Corey had gone up early to study. But he had been wrong.


He had been so wrong. Walking back into their room, he saw what looked like a picture of a naked model, hidden under his brother's left arm.


Cole had walked over to him, just to get a closer look. He didn't expect to be met by…. The head of a cock, peeking out from under his brother. Printed in a high quality magazine.


So he panicked. Trying to wake his sleeping brother, before their mother walked in to the room. But after a while of not getting any response, he took a grip of the parts of the magazine that he could reach. Then he dragged it out, from under Corey.


"Ouch, what the hell Co…." Corey groaned, while moving his right hand to his forehead. Then he realized what Cole was holding.


"Mom is coming, hide it." Cole shoved the magazine into Corey's arms.
