I’ll Destroy the Holy Sword!!

ORC Headquarters

3rd Person POV

Irina jumped high into the air. "Amen!"

"Issei, move!" (Y/N) barked.

The Red Dragon Emperor just barely evaded Irina's attack, only to have his uniform cut. "Dude, what the hell; that was dangerous!" He said. "I thought this was a friendly fight!"

"Oh, to return to my hometown only to be forced to kill one of my oldest friends." She said with a rather disturbing smile on her face. "Alas, Fate can be so cruel!" She proclaimed.

"You're not supposed to be trying to kill anyone, Irina!" (Y/N) said sternly.

The twin-tailed brunette looked to her fiancé in surprise. She laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of her head. "Right. Sorry, my bad!"

"Issei, try and avoid her direct attacks!" Rias advised."

"Yeah. That is the plan. Thanks!" He snapped as he raised his power once more.

Boost!

"The Azure and Red Dragon Emperor's Dragon Hands? That with Asia Argento's Twilight Healing, your Sword Birth and the Blades of Order. You devils certainly have a fair amount of the pagan sacred treasures." Xenovia claimed.

"I have another power." Said Kiba. "One that comes from the grudges of my fallen comrades." He declared as he drew one of the many surrounding swords. "With this power, I will destroy all the Excaliburs!" He declared as he rushed to Xenovia and began slashing away at her sword as she defended from his attacks. "And along with them, I will annihilate their wielders!!"

As Kiba and Xenovia continued their clash, Rias along with her remaining servants with the addition of Beerus and Whis simply continued to watch.

"Just being touched by a Holy Sword can injure a devil." Akeno claimed. "They're at a huge disadvantage."

"Kiba can manage with speed, but Issei..." Rias looked over to see him being able to evade and block with his Sacred Gear, knocking Irina back in surprise. "Actually, That sword doesn't seem to be bothering him that much."

"Or at all." Akeno added.

"You can thank Ddraig for that." (Y/N) claimed.

The others looked to him in confusion.

"While it's true he's improved, he still doesn't have a whole lot of combat experience. A Dragon Emperor's Sacred Gear is as strong in defense as it is in their offensive capabilities. Even though he didn't sacrifice his arm to the Dragon within, that left hand of his is as strong as real Dragon scales when his Sacred Gear's deployed." He explained. "Still, Irina's been training probably her whole life. I'm sure she'll figure out a way to either break or get around his defenses."

Irina stared at Issei and began to pout. "You're way too simple to be that impertinent!" She said.

"Whatever that means, you're gonna regret it!" Issei declared. "Know why? Because I'm gonna make you pay hard core! Besides, I never miss out on boobs!"

Boost!

(Y/N) slapped his head with his palm in disbelief.

Beerus simply laughed at the pervert's declaration. "I can't believe he really said that out loud! Man, that kid's a freaking riot!!"

"Please don't encourage him." The Azure Dragon Emperor begged.

Issei suddenly grew a lecherous grin.

(Y/N) and Koneko immediately noticed it.

'Irina Shido, you focus on worshiping God, and I'll focus on worshiping your tight ass bod!' The pervert thought.

"You don't think-" Koneko began to question.

"Do you even need to ask? It's Issei we're talking about."

"Uh, that's freaky." Irina said with caution and unease. "What is he making that lecherous face for?"

"Irina, be careful!" (Y/N) warned.

Irina's fiancé's warning gained her attention, still keeping her eyes on her opponent.

"Seriously, watch out for the pervo-jerk because he had the power to blow away a woman's clothes just by touching them." Koneko explained.

"What?! Their clothes?!" Irina replied in shock.

"You guys, why are you giving my secrets away to the enemy?!" Issei yelled.

"Because you're the enemy to all women." The two replied in unison, only to high five each other.

Issei hung his head down. "Sometimes the things you say really hurt." He sulked.

"Don't do scummy things and we won't say 'em!" (Y/N) replied.

"I can hardly believe how you've ended up, Issei! It's not enough that you've turned into an evil devil, but your heart is filled with such wickedness now! I thought being around (Y/N) would've help you, but I guess being by my wonderful darling's side just wasn't enough." Irina cried. She clasped her hands together and began to pray. "Dear God, I pray that in your divine wisdom you will never forgive this sinful pervert!"

"Preach it, honey!" (Y/N) encouraged.

"Seriously?! (Y/N) gets a pass but not me, what the hell?!"

With a final clash of blades, Kiba kept back and tossed his sword, only to grab his fire sword, Flare Brand and ice sword, Freeze Mist. "Time for you to burn! And then freeze!" He unleashed a bloodthirsty battle cry as he rushed towards Xenovia with and endless barrages of slash attacks in waves of fire and ice.

"How naive!" The bluenette claimed. With a single swing of her sword she destroyed Kiba's. She spun her sword until the blade aimed downward. She drove it into the ground and erupted a massive burst of pure force.

Everyone around struggled to stay on their feet from the quake, only for some to fall.

Xenovia looked up from the crater she created to see Kiba staring in awe. "The Holy Sword of Destruction. Believe me, this sword's name is not just for show!" She declared.

"After being split into seven, it's still this strong." Kiba claimed only to huff with a confident smile. "Then I guess there's gonna have to be a lot of carnage when I destroy all of 'em."

Beerus simply hummed as he continued to watch.

"Lord Beerus..." Whis addressed.

"Yes. Those blades they're using...They have the same energy as (Y/N)'s servant. How peculiar." He said.

"Kiba..." Issei stared. "What's gotten in to him?" He asked.

"Hey, Xenovia, warn me the next time you wanna Destroyer the ground." Irina complained as she stood back up and dusted off her butt. "Anyway, I suppose it's about time you and I finished this game." She said, readying her Excalibur Mimic as she jumped to Issei with a downward swing.

Boost!

Issei looked to his Sacred Gear and smiled. "Let's do this!"

Explosion!

The Red Dragon Emperor's power exploded, encasing the young pervert in a radiant aura of emerald green. His devil wings spouted and he readied to attack. "Here we go!" He said before lunging at Irina. "DRESS BREAK!!!" He smiled excitedly.

Irina immediately stopped her attack. "Ew! Gross!" She cried as she barely dodged her childhood friend's attack.

Issei quickly regained his composure and began jumping at Irina once again. "This is it!" He declared.

Irina screamed as she evaded another attack and continued to avoid Issei's attacks. "No! Stop it!" She begged.

"It appears Mister Hyoudou's movements have grown more flexible and much faster." Whis commented.

"All thanks to his pervertedness." Koneko said with great disdain.

(Y/N) growled at the display and bared his teeth in his slowly rising anger.

"This isn't fair; leave me alone!" Cried Irina as she tried to get away, only to be stopped when Issei landed in front of her with a creepy smile on his face.

"Never underestimate the power..." He lunged forward with great speed at Irina. "OF A TWISTED MIND!!!" He proclaimed, getting closer and closer to Irina.

Nearly coming into contact, Irina ducked down and avoided Issei's lunge as his face was met with a fierce kick to which sent him flying a short distance away.

Irina looked up and watched as (Y/N) landed in front of her.

"Seriously? She's one of our childhood friends, Issei. Have some goddamn restraint!" The Azure Dragon Emperor spat, walking to the grounded brunette.

Issei groaned in pain as he struggled to sit himself up. "Ow ow ow!" He winced. A shadow suddenly cast over him, terrifying him as he knew all too well who it was. He looked up and saw (Y/N) glaring at him with his arms crossed as the shadow of his hair covering his eyes, making his appearance all the more terrifying.

"You know what happens now. Right?" He asked as he glared down the pervert.

Issei simply looked to his soon-to-be executioner. "Please...Please don't hurt me." He begged.

"Yeah...No." He replied, kicking Issei over to the others, only for him to hit a tree and render him unconscious. "... Now tag out!" He said to the unconscious pervert.

"(Y/N)...You saved me..." Irina awed.

"What? Of course I did. Come on, I know I don't have the right to be your fiancé anymore, but that doesn't mean I can't be there to help you." He declared with a light laugh.

Irina felt a suddenness of shock, confusion and heartbreak from his statement. "W-What? Babe, what're you-?"

A sudden roar on power erupted from Kiba as he channeled his magical energy into creating a sword far bigger than him. "Why don't we see which of these destructive swords is the most destructive. Will it be your Holy or my Devil?!" He questioned, charging at Xenovia.

The bluenette simply watched as the Knight continued his advance. "...Too bad." She said as she stepped forward.

(Y/N) simply watched with his arms crossed, only to lower his head, close his eyes and sigh. 'It's over.'

Xenovia got Kiba in the stomach with the axe-shaped blade guard, surprising the Peerage.

Kiba spat out blood from the blow and plummeted to the ground. His sword disappeared in a black and red veil of light.

"Your only weapons are a few swords and a little speed. Not only do you lack the power to use a large sword, but in the process you're sealing that speed you're so proud of." Xenovia explained. "Please, don't tell me you didn't realize that fact?" She sighed in disappointment as she began to walk away.

"No..." Kiba reached out to her, still burning and writhing in pain from the blow of Excalibur. "Wait!"

"You should know only to fight when you're rational. After all. You are my superior." She said with a cocky smile.

Kiba glared to the bluenette with utter hatred.

"Man, you just LOVE rubbing salt into the wounds of your opponents. Don't you?" (Y/N) said as he approached.

Xenovia glanced back to the young devil, turning to face him. "I'm merely stating a fact." She said, gripping her sword's handle once more. "If you'd like to further prove my point, then I'd be happy to oblige."

"Oh, don't get me wrong. That "WINNING" personality of yours is kinda the reason why I'm feeling the need to pay you back for all the rude things you said to Asia. So, just so you know...You had this coming." He glared.

"(Y/N)...No...This is my fight...Stay out of this..." Kiba growled.

"Kiba, you've had enough." He turned to his fallen friend with a stern gaze. "Just stay down and rest. I have my own reasons for wanting to knock her around a bit."

"You're joking." Xenovia claimed. "What makes you think you can take on Excalibur? Your Sword Birth user couldn't. But, if you want to experience the power of Excalibur for yourself; then by all means..." She readied her stance. "Come and fall to it yourself."

"Bet." He said, appearing right before Xenovia. He shot his wind coated fist into Xenovia's stomach. "WIND CLAW!!!" He roared and blasted her back.

Xenovia crashed into a few of the trees behind her and fell to the ground.

"Oops. Guess we didn't specify the bet. How about ¥2,000 if I can get you on your ass." He said, looking at the pained Xenovia struggling to stand. "Though, I guess if that's the case, I already won." He said. "You owe me ¥2,000." He added.

She looked up and spat out some blood. "I'll admit, that caught me by surprise. I didn't think you'd be this strong." She claimed, using her Sword of Destruction to prop herself up as she regain her composure. "But, as a child of God, I will not fall to a pitiful devil like you!" She declared, back on her feet and ready for battle once more.

"Is that your way of saying double or nothing? 'Cause you're on. 'Nother ¥2,000 says I can't knock that patch of green off your goddamn head." He said, summoning his Oblivion.

The two dashed at one another and clashed with incredible speed, sending sparks and blasts of wind flying with every contact of their blades. Their gazes fixated deeply on each other in anticipation for the move that would break the clash.

'That sword definitely feels heavy. Yet, she's able to swing it with such ease at incredible speed. She's definitely been trained to use it.' (Y/N) acknowledged.

The two broke away, allowing (Y/N) to summon Oath Maker. He donned a sword-crossed stance and encased them fire and ice.

"Your friend tried fire and ice too! Look where it got him!" Xenovia yelled as she charged at the young devil.

"Yeah. But that 'cause he was unfocused and blinded by rage. Plus, his swords' magic isn't as intense as mine!!" He proclaimed, encasing his Oblivion with black and purple flames. "ENCHANTED HELL BLAZE!!!" He swung his blade and sent the wave hurling towards the bluenette.

She jumped up and avoided the attack, only to stop in mid air as a faint light surrounded her. She looked down and saw a wide white circle underneath her as her opponent appeared behind her on the ground.

"WHITE MOON!!!" He chanted, summoning a tall tower of ice to trap Xenovia within. He quickly ran to the pillar of ice. "Azure Dragon..." He began to chant as he ran, jumping up and towards the pillar. "TALON!!!" He roared, connecting his kick and shattering the pillar of ice, freeing Xenovia as he landed back down.

Able to move once more, she quickly used a nearby block of ice and propelled herself towards the young devil-dragon hybrid. With a mighty battle cry, she brought down the Excalibur of Destruction.

"FULL COUNTER!!!" He retaliated, reflecting Xenovia's attack with double the damage with Oblivion, sending her flying as it's devastating force and created another massive crater within the ground.

Through the smoke, (Y/N) carefully stepped through in search of his opponent. 'I can't sense her presence anymore. She might be suppressing her magical energy. Something tells me she isn't one to give up so easily.' He though, swinging his Oath Maker and cutting the dust cloud and making it disperse. 'I might have to stop holding back.'

Xenovia suddenly rushed at the young devil with incredible speed as she swung at the young devil.

(Y/N) quickly spotted the oncoming Excalibur wielder and called back his swords, catching the Excalibur with his shadow coated hand.

Xenovia's, as well as many of the others, eyes widened. "W-What?" She questioned.

(Y/N) grunted, unleashing his dark magical energy and transforming into his Black Heart state. "Gonna have to move a lot fast than that." He said, gripping the tip of Xenovia's Excalibur to the point where it slightly cracked.

Xenovia's eyes widened in utter shock and horror jumped back a great distance. "W-What?! How?! How did a devil manage to touch Excalibur, let alone crack it?!" She questioned in disbelief as she analyzed the small crack.

(Y/N) looked to his hand, watching a black and rest mist rise up off his palm. "So this is the reaction for a devil touching Excalibur?" He questioned. "...Eh." He shrugged. "The Ifrit's fire burned more than this." He claimed. "Even then..." He added, conjuring his axe of darkness onto his arm. "It's nothing I'm not used to." He rushed to Xenovia, slamming the axe of darkness down hard, bringing the blocking bluenette to her knee. He let up, only to swipe her away, only to rush her in a continuous black blur as he dealt numerous blows. He grabbed her and held her up with a claw of darkness, only to kick her away. As he watched Xenovia roll on the round from the blow, he began to pant heavily. 'Why...Do I feel so exhausted already?' He questioned. 'My body feels like it's growing stiffer and heavier with each second.' He growled, concentrating his darkness into his hands. 'Come on! Just push through it!' He ordered himself, charging at the weary Xenovia to unleash a barrage of punches and kicks, each one increasing in weight and power with each consecutively landed hit. "34 consecutive hits..." He claimed, seeing Xenovia still on her feet as she still stood blocking with the Sword of Destruction. "Impressive." He complimented. "But here's..." He reeled his fist back. "Thirty-" His body suddenly stopped moving. Similar to the time he was restrained by Grayfia, his couldn't move his body. 'Shit! So close! Come on! Move!!' He ordered his body.

Xenovia saw the opportunity to strike and unleashed a mighty horizontal swing. "NOW STAND DOWN!!!" She roared, slashing (Y/N) across the chest and sending him flying past Rias and the others and crashed into to the clubhouse.

"(Y/N) NO!!!" Asia cried out in dread.

"(Y/N)!!!" Rias cried.

Irina looked at the smoke cloud, quickly glaring to her partner. "Don't you think that was a bit excessive, Xenovia?!"

"It was the quickest way to end this. I'm sorry Irina." She replied.

As the smoke slowly faded, the young devil clad in darkness still stood standing.

"(Y/N)!!!" Everyone cried.

Beerus hummed. "How interesting." He said.

Black sparks began to radiate off of (Y/N)'s body. His silver skin began to crack as black and purple light shined through.

Everyone immediately stopped in their tracks, watching in confusion and shock.

"What in the world?" Rias looked on in total bafflement.

As soon as his body became covered in cracks, he unleashed of powerful roar and his transformation shattered and became encased in a surging and overflowing darkness. The darkness faded, the young devil stood with his upper clothes ripped up and mostly missing, his wound from Excalibur closed and healed by the darkness, though his transformation was gone.

He looked down and say his skin the same as his natural state. "What the-?" He looked at his hands. 'I don't feel any negative effects in terms of power. Actually, I feel stronger. But, the transformation's gone. Unless...' He pondered to himself before looking to his Peerage. "Hey, do I look any different?" He asked.

Everyone simply stared in utter shock at the hound devil.

"U-Uh, you've got some kind of black mark on your head." Akeno informed.

"You're eyes are black too." Koneko added.

"You look thinner too." Akeno added.

"What?" (Y/N) Replied in confusion. He looked back to a nearby window and looked at his reflection. He did indeed look like his normal appearance. The only differences were his deep black-colored eyes, the black spiral-like mark on his head above his right eye and his thinner muscle mass. "Huh." He said before he looked back to his reflection, only to shrug. "Well, if this is a new transformation..." He began to hop up and down, feeling his blood flow as he loosened up his legs. "Might as well give it a test drive." He smiled confidently, only vanishing from sight.

Xenovia felt a scratch on her cheek as some of the forestry behind her was destroyed. She slowly turned around and looked at the deviation behind her.

"Ow! Shit!" (Y/N) groaned as he walked out of the devastation, moving away the tree blocking his path with ease and removing a branch that had impaled him in the shoulder only to heal. "Well, body definitely feels a lot lighter than before. So I guess this is like an evolved form of Black Heart?" He questioned.

Xenovia simply looked on in shock, still coming to terms with the amount of devastation he had caused.

"I should probably rename this..." He pondered. "Maybe I should keep it simple, like "Black Mark" or something." He said as he reached out his hand. "Oh well. Thoughts for later." He said, streams of darkness burst out from his wrists, forming into something of a bow. He rose his other hand and began to draw back a bow of fire that grew into a triangular flame with the likeness of a bird. "Bow of darkness. Arrow of flame. Soar through the sky and scorch all in your path..."

"(Y/N), that's enough!!" Rias ordered.

"(Y/N), please don't do this!!" Asia begged.

"...Hellfire Bird!" He chanted releasing the attack. The flame flew towards its target at an incredible speed, incinerating anything caught in its path and leaving a trail of fire in its wake.

"Xenovia, look out!!" Irina called out in fear.

As the blast came inches from her face, it suddenly burst into nothingness upon a loud echoing snap, canceling out the attack. She stared at the black-marked devil in shock, utterly terrified.

"If you need a further demonstration of far I'm willing to go to protect the ones I love, then I'd be happy to oblige. But I think you know how it'll end." He said, lowering his hand.

"You-You're a monster." She said.

(Y/N) simply shrugged. "Eh. I've been called worse."

Xenovia fell to her knees. Her sword piercing the ground as she gripped the hilt tightly. "Dear Lord, please grant me, your humble servant the strength needed to defeat this monstrous heathen! For before me, stands a living embodiment of sin. Please, guide my hand and work through me to show this beast of the damned the error of his ways. Take him into your embrace and guide him from the path he had walked. For your bountiful glory, your endless kindness, your countless good deeds to us, your children."

(Y/N) began to grow enraged by Xenovia's prayer. He suddenly dashed to her at terrifying speed.

"So please-!!" Xenovia was silenced by the black-marked young man grabbing her by the from of collar of her uniform, causing her to drop her Excalibur from the sudden rush.

"(Y/N), don't!!" Rias said.

"Don't do it!!" Akeno worried.

"You pray to your God in the middle of battle? In a life or death situation, do you really think your opponent's gonna give a damn?!" He questioned with hostility. "Do you really think He's gonna help you?!" He questioned. "Let me ask you this...If your God is so great, then why does he continue to let the people, his children, suffer?! Why'd he let my sister die?! Why did he make me and my mother suffer under the house of the monster of a bastard?! Why didn't he put a stop to all the violence, abuse and torture we had to experience every single fucking day?!" He yelled furiously. "Were we so insignificant to him that he'd simply brush us off when we begged and pleaded for someone to help us?! You want to know what happened?! I had to kill the bastard myself to stop him from raping my mother!! Only for her to commit fucking suicide!!"

Everyone simply stared at the black-marked devil in utter shock.

"Go ahead and ask him!! Because he never fucking answered when I did!! And while you're at it, ask him what his plan is for all the starving children in, oh I dunno, in "Name An African Country"!! 'Cause if it's for them to die, the it's one killer plan!!" He roared, shocking everyone into silence by his rage alone. He slowly began to calm down, his breath became calmer and fair paced as his transformation began to vanish. He dropped Xenovia to the ground and simply looked at her. "You believe in whatever the hell you want, but listen to your heart and head instead of whatever bullshit they feed you. Don't be mindless sheep." He turned around and walked back to the others. The second he rejoined the others, his transformation ended and collapsed face first.

"(Y/N)!!!" The girls cried.

"Shit..." He groaned. "Looks like I went a little overboard."

Time Skip

"I apologize for letting things get out of hand. My Pawn can get a little overzealous at times." Rias apologized as the members of the Church collected their things.

"It would appear so." Replied Xenovia. "I take it you're satisfied, Rias Gremory?"

"I know I am!" Beerus smiled happily, slapping his self-proclaimed rival and best friend on the back as Asia healed him and Akeno restored his clothing. "My rival and best friend continues to surprise me yet again with an evolution in his transformation!!" He said, bursting into a obnoxious fit of proud laughter.

"Indeed." Rias agreed. "More to the point where nobody was dealt final blows. Though, I suppose we did have a few close calls." She added, looking back at her Pawn with a light scowl.

"...I'm not apologizing." He said.

Rias sighed in defeat, quickly regaining a courteous smile. "In any case, thank you both for your integrity."

"Of course." Xenovia Replied, donning her Church cloak. "And remember what we talked about earlier." She said before taking her leave.

"Just out of curiosity." Rias said, stopping Xenovia and regaining her attention. "Did you find out which fallen angel was guilty? Of stealing the Holy Swords, I mean."

"We know who was behind it. Yes." The bluenette conformed. "The leader of the Grigoris. Named Kokabiel."

(Y/N) simply looked confused and turned to Akeno. "Grigoris? What's that?" He asked.

"Fallen angels. It's a group of them who were also known as the "Ones Who Watch Over the Children Of God"." She explained.

"So another rouge faction of fallen angels? Great..." He groaned.

"The two of you are after a Leader Class? Are you planning to die?" Rias balked.

"We do what we must to keep the fallen from the Holy Swords. I am willing to trade my life to annihilate them." She declared.

"We understand the danger. There's already been one casualty. A priest who came here to check things out a head of time was killed." Said Irina as she joined Xenovia.

"I know who killed him." Kiba claimed, his hand on his stomach as he kneeled. "Freed Sellzen."

"Seriously? That psycho again?!" (Y/N) questioned in disbelief, instantly remembering his encounter with him long ago.

"Really? A stray priest did?" Rias questioned.

"I happened to be there when the priest was murdered. And Freed definitely had a Holy Sword."

"Interesting it was a stray priest. At least we know who we're up against." Xenovia replied.

Kiba simply looked back and glared at her.

"I appreciate the information you've shared, but don't involve yourselves further in our affairs." She ordered before walking away. "We'll take our leave."

"Hold on; wait for me, Xenovia!" Irina cried. "Well. Thank you. This has been such fun." She smiled, looking to (Y/N) with a worried smile. "(Y/N)...If we meet again...I'd like to talk." She held her rosary and kissed it. "Amen!" She cheered before heading off with Xenovia.

Time Skip

After a while, the boys managed to rest and recover after the fight with Irina and Xenovia.

However, Issei simply laid on one of the sofas motionless and quiet, still unconscious from the blow dealt to him from (Y/N).

(Y/N) was looking at something on his phone quietly.

Kiba made his way to the door.

"Where are you going, Kiba?" Rias questioned her Knight, stopping him. "You do realize I will never permit you to leave me. Remember, you are a Knight of the House of Gremory." She declared.

"I know, President..." He replied solemnly. "And I'm sorry." He said as he stormed out the door and slammed it shut behind him.

"Oh no. He left." Said Asia, worried for her friend.

"Oh, Kiba...Why now?"

(Y/N) simply watched in silence, only to go back to his phone.

"So...How're you feeling sweetie?" Akeno questioned the silent devil.

"Fine. Why?" He replied, hardly any emotion in his voice.

Akeno looked down, concerned for her underclassmen. Remembering everything he said to Xenovia before the match officially ended. "Well, it's just-"

"I gotta head out. Got some things to take care of. Later." He said before teleporting away.

Everyone simply remained silent. Unsure of what to even say in their current situation.

"First Kiba. Now (Y/N)..." Akeno fretted.

Yukihira Eatery

(Y/N) appeared before the family diner and slid the door open. "Hey there, got time for two more orders?" He questioned the chefs in the back.

The older man had a well toned body. Long, dark red hair swept back, save for a single group of bangs that hung over his face down to his chin. Sharp dark yellow eyes and a slight beard on his chin.

The young man to his side had spiky red hair, excitement-craved yellow eyes and a vertical scar on his left eyebrow.

They both wore the same uniform, consisting of a black shirt with the restaurant's logo on the back and left chest area of their shirts and a white apron over their waist.

The two young men turn to spot the young devil, only to smile happily.

"(Y/N), my boy! Good to see you!" The older man greeted.

"Hey man, good to see ya! It's been a while!" The young man smiled.

"Hey Soma! Mr. Yukihira! Good to see you guys!" He waved. "So, what've the Yukihra boys been up to lately?"

"Not much. Just another day at the eatery, what can I say?" The older man replied. "And I thought I told you to call me Joichiro! It's not like we're strangers kid."

"Oh..." The young devil remembered. "Right. Sorry. It's just...Been a day, I guess."

Joichiro simply smiled. "Gotcha. So, what can we do for ya?" He asked.

"Well, I was wondering if you could make a couple dishes real quick." He asked.

"Of course!" Joichiro smiled. "So what'll it be?" He asked, tightening the apron around his waist.

"Something quick and easy for you guys. I don't want to keep you." (Y/N) said.

"Nah, don't sweat it." Soma assured, tightening a white headband on his head. "You're our last customer of the day, so we'll make it extra good for ya." He smiled.

(Y/N) smiled contently at the two cooks. "Thanks. And if it's all possible, can you make 'em to go?"

"Sure thing!" Joichiro replied. "Soma..." He turned to his son. "Go ahead and start the fried rice. I'll get the cutlets ready."

"Got it!" Soma replied. "Go ahead and take a seat, man. Rest up a bit. You look beat." He said.

"Yeah, it's been a day." he claimed, taking a seat right in front of the kitchen. "So, how's your brother doing, Soma? Haven't seen him around much."

"He's still out. He's still in the middle of that tournament thing he wanted to do. I think he's supposed to be in China now for the semi-finals." Soma replied.

"Gotcha. Kid's one hell of a fighter, I'll tell you that. Good chef too. You must be proud Mr. Joichiro." She smiled.

"You bet. My brats are my pride and joy." He smiled. "Though, only one of 'em usually comes close to beating me when it comes to our contests."

"Hey, that's not true!" Soma snapped back.

"I still find how your brother, who's interested in fighting than cooking, is better than you at it." The father teased.

"In case you didn't know, old man, me and him are usually neck and neck when it comes to OUR contests!!" Soma defended.

"Oh, yeah? Then how come you're the one with the most losses?" The father teased again with a cheeky smirk.

"Oh whatever!!"

"What's the record now? 500, right?" Joichiro grinned.

"HUH?! Don't even, it's 488!!" Soma corrected loudly.

(Y/N) simply burst out in a hearty laugh. "Sorry, don't mean to offend. Just forgot how lively this place is." He smiled.

The two redheads simply smiled.

"You could always come back. We'd love to have you as one of our staff again." Joichiro offered.

"Thanks. I appreciate it. Maybe every once in a while, I could stop by. But, I've been so busy lately I have no idea when that'll be." (Y/N) sighed.

"Ah, no worries. Just reach out to us whenever you're feeling up to it and we'll letcha in." Joichiro assured.

"Sure. Sounds good."

"So, what've you been up to boyo? It has been quite a while since we've seen you." Questioned Joichiro.

"Well, I joined a club at school and it's basically taken all my time up. That and keeping with my usual routine. Still, got a concert to get ready for too." (Y/N) explained. 'Not like I can say I was turned into a devil to these guys.'

"Concert? You've got one comin' up?" Joichiro asked.

"Yeah, I haven't finalized everything. But I'm planning on it being next month. Well, that's the plan anyways."

"Cool!! Hey Dad, why don"t we go? You know Calamity Trigger is top notch!" Soma questioned excitedly.

"Sure, why not. Just let us know the dates and we'll see what we can do." He said.

"Sounds good. I'll hook you guys up with the tickets once we're ready."

"Sweet!!" Soma cheered.

'Actually, speaking of, I should give Tony a ring to see if he can help with the thing.' (Y/N) pondered as he pulled out his phone. "I'm gonna step out for a bit, need to make a call real quick." He said as he rose from his seat.

"Sure thing. Food should be ready by the time you're done." Joichiro assured.

"Thanks." The young devil smiled. He stepped outside and slid the door behind him shut. He pulled up his contacts and called Tony. After a few rings, the call finally connected.

"(Y/N)?" A female voice spoke.

(Y/N) looked surprised by the familiar voice answering. "Pepper?" He replied in question.

"Oh my gosh! Hi sweetie! How are you?" She greeted cheerfully. "Haven't heard from you in ages!"

"Hey Pepper. Good to hear form you again." He smiled.

"Everything okay? You're calling rather late."

"Yeah, I know. Sorry, I was wondering if Tony could get a room for some friends that are from out of town."

"Well, Tony's asleep right now. But I'm more than happy to help you sweetie." She said. "What're you looking for?"

"It's called the "Angel's Cloud Hotel". One room, two beds. I don't think they're staying long so put it for like two days."

The sound of typing lightly echoed into the phone.

"Okay, looks like they've got some availability."

"Awesome. Just use my card information and put it under my name." He said.

"Okay...They're all set. They'll be ready to take whenever they're ready." Pepper claimed.

"Thanks again, Pepper. I really appreciate this." He said, looking behind his to see Soma and his father out on the floor with his togo bowls. "Hey, I've got to go. Let's all go get dinner soon when we're all free." He suggested.

"That sounds wonderful. Have a good night, sweetie. Night!" Pepper bid beofre hanging up.

(Y/N) put his phone away and went back inside. "Thanks again, you guys. I really appriciate this. Sorry again it was so late."

"Think nothing of it." Joichiro assured, putting the dishes in a plastic bag and handing it to the young devil. "Here ya go, kiddo. Anything else you need?"

"Acutally, you got a pen and paper?" He asked.

"Sure. Here." Soma handed his old firend what he requested.

"Thanks." He accepted, taking a few moments to write a note before sticking into the bag. "How much do I owe you guys?"

"¥1,600." Joichiro informed.

The young devil pulled out two ¥1,000 bills and handed them over. "Keep the change. Thanks again, guys. Take care!" He smiled as he went to the door.

"Have a good one, kid!" Joichiro smiled.

"See ya around, bro!" Soma smiled.

(Y/N) closed the door and walked until he was out of sight of any potential eyes. He focused on locating Irina's presence, locating it in the abandoned church in the outskirts of town in the hillside. 'Thought so.' He thought before vanishing into thin air via his teleportation.

Abandoned Church

Within the lower levels of the abandoned House of God, the members of the Church proceeded bathe within the small pool. Not even knee deep in the freezing cold water, Irina stood bare naked as she continued to slash water on her ample and wonderfully shaped bosom. "I don't get why I can't even take a bath comfortably." She complained with another splash onto her chest. She clasped her hands and looked up. "I bet this must be another trial form God."

"Do you really believe that?" Xenovia questioned with a hint of annoyance in her tone. She stepped into the pool, also bare, a look of annoyance on her face. 'After all, you're the one who spent all of our money." She reminded, pointing aggressively at the ridiculous looking painting in the corner. "For what? A weird, suspicious looking picture?"

Irina looked at her partner. Almost offended. "What are you trying to say?!" He pouted. "There's an honest to goodness holy person in that image, and you know it! The exhibition guy said so. And why would he lie?" She defended.

Xenovia sat down, releasing an exasperated sigh of annoyance. "Why did I have to be stuck with you as a partner?" She questioned, her hand pressed against her face.

"Wow, when you get depressed, you get like really depressed, don't you?" Irina asked in surprise.

"Oh, be quite!" Xenovia snapped.

The two girls were suddenly silenced by loud growling from their stomachs, sounding practically deprived and starved. The two grew flustered for a brief moment.

"First things first, we have to find a way to get something to eat. We're hardly in the condition to retrieve Excalibur right now." Claimed the bluenette.

"Yeah, you're right!" Irina agreed. "In that case, you wanna threaten people from other religions so they'll give us money?" She suggested. "Since they won't be with the Church, God will totally forgive us...Probably..."

"If we're going that far, we might as well just steal a temple's offering box or something like that instead." Xenvoia suggested as she rose up.

"Oh, that would be easier!" Irina agreed. "Good plan!"

Xenovia took a second to contemplate what they were actually discussing, and decided against the ludicrous notions. "No. We can't do that."

"Right. I guess that wouldn't be very nice, now would it?" Irina said as she couched down into the pool.

Their stomach growled loudly again.

Suddenly, a familiar presence startled the two. They quickly grabbed their cloaks and ran upstairs with Excaliburs in hand.

"Who's there?!" Xenovia questioned as she burst open the door, only to find no one around. Whatever presence they felt had suddenly disappeared.

"That was...Weird." Irina claimed.

The two suddenly picked up the sent of fried rice and deep-fried pork. They looked down to spot a plastic bag right in front of them.

"What's that?" Xenovia asked. "Food?" She questioned, picking up the bag.

"Kinda seems like it, huh?" Irina said.

The two looked around again to see the one who delivered the food, not spotting anyone.

"How odd." Xenovia pondered.

"How is it odd? This is a gift from God! He's spared us of starvation and bestowed us a meal!" Irina praised, smelling the food and began to drool. "And it smells absolutely divine!!"

Xenovia took a whiff. "It does smell good." She admitted. "...Well, might as well take it." She said as she went back inside.

"Yay! Dinner!!" Irina cheered.

The two made their way to the altar and pulled out the bowled dishes, seeing the masterpiece of food that laid within. A deep-fried pork cutlet cut into bite-size pieces atop a hefty serving of perfectly cooked fired rice with various vegetables and small pieces of steak and shrimp. The smell alone practically intoxicated the two.

"Dear Lord! It's like looking into a treasure box!" Xenovia awed.

"This smells delicious!!" Irina screamed with joy.

They two said they're prayer before eating and used the provided utensils to take their first bite.

The two were immediately met with a burst of tantalizing flavor of rich and powerful spices, emphasizing the taste of the pork and the filling rice.

"This is amazing!!" Xenovia resounded as she continued eating, scarfing down her food while trying to savor every bite.

Irina looked shocked at the taste of the dish, feeling a sense of familiarity. She looked to the dish and her vision became burred through the tears forming in her eyes.

Xenovia looked to her partner and was slightly shocked. "Irina, what's wrong?"

"Huh?" She replied.

"Are...Are you crying?" Xenovia asked.

Irina wiped her eyes with her arm, looking down to see it slightly wet from her tears. "S-Sorry. It just...I haven't had this in years. Just kinda hit with a wave of nostalgia, I guess." She admitted.

"I see. You used to live here, so I suppose that makes sense. I take it you used to eat this quite a bit when you were younger." Said Xenovia.

"Kind of. Back when I was a kid, my family, Issei's, and (Y/N) with his mother and sister used to go to this local eatery. It was family run, but they served the best food. We went there on special occasions. It was a really fun place. This dish was the one of the owner's recipes." Irina explained.

"I see." Xenovia noted.

As the two continued to eat, Irina's mind began to wander. 'After the mission's complete, I really would like to go and see everyone I've missed. Mr. and Mrs. Yukihira and Soma, Mr. Stark, Ms. Potts, Ms. Hasegawa, Kazuki and Mrs. Kazami too! If I run into Mr. Kazami, I should keep our exchange brief, still don't trust him. Still, even if (Y/N)'s a devil now, he's still looks like he's taken care of himself. He's gotten so much stronger than when we were kids. Still, I wonder who left this here for us? The only ones who know I'm here are Issei and (Y/N), so...'

"Irina!" Xenovia called, snapping the twin-tailed brunette out of her deep thinking. "Looks like there's a note on your lid." She pointed out.

Irina looked to the lid on the floor, spotting a note. She grabbed it and began to read it.

Here's a little welcome back gift from the Yukihiras and myself. I hope it's as good as you remember. But please, don't throw your lives away if things get out of hand. I wish you the best of luck on your mission. I'm not sure where you're staying, but I asked Pepper to book you a room in a Christian Hotel to make you're stay more comfortable. It's already paid for and under my name. Just walk in and tell them and they'll let you in. As I've said, no matter what our standing, I'll always be there to help.

-(Y/N)

P.S. The address is on the back.

P.P.S The room's only for a couple of days. Best of luck.

As Irina finished reading the letter, she began to tear up again, holding the note close to her chest.

"What's wrong?" Xenovia questioned.

"I think..." She smiled. "We might have someone other than God looking out for us." She said. "I think we've got a place to stay instead of here." She informed.

"Wait what?! Since when?!" Xenovia questioned in surprise. "Where."

"Somewhere close by. Come on, let's finish up our meal and head over. We'll figure out the money thing later." She advised as she continued eating. 'Thank you Lord. For helping (Y/N) remain the kind and loving boy he is, despite now being a devil. Please, forgive him of his sins!' She prayed. 'Still, what did he mean earlier? Not worthy? Why would he say that?'

Kuoh City Plaza

As the young devil began to make his way home, he overheard the panicked commotion of two sketchy individuals making a terrified report to one of the local police officers.

"Save us!" One begged loudly.

(Y/N) looked over in curiosity.

"Monsters! There're monsters!! With Women with swords and armor!!" One claimed.

"Monsters with women with swords?" The officer questioned with doubt.

"We saw them, we swear!!" The other man claimed.

(Y/N) began to think about what they were saying. "Monsters? Women with swords?' He quickly grew worried. 'Uh oh.' He began to quicken his pace back home.

(Y/N)'s Home

"I'm home!" (Y/N) announced as he entered.

"Welcome back!" Tohru greeted happily.

"Hold the fort down all right?" He asked as he removed his shoes.

"I suppose, but it was kind of boring." She admitted.

"Ahh." He simply replied.

"And I didn't even get to kill them." She added.

"Ahh..." He replied, taking a moment to process what his Dragon Maid just said. "Wait, what?!"

"Oh, by the way, the others wanted to speak with you once you got back. They're in the living room." Tohru claimed. "They all seem rather...Upset?" She guessed.

'...Oh no.' (Y/N) fretted. "Thanks Tohru." He said, making his way to the living room, only to be met with unhappy gazes and concerned looks from Rias, Asia, Isabela, Siris and Artoria.

"Hey, girls. How uh, how was your night?" He asked.

"Great!" Artoria replied with a hint of disappointment. "Lady Rias just finished telling us of how you fought a member of the Church by yourself, nearly killing them, which could've caused a bigger problem between your factions. Adding onto the fact that they were using an Excalibur...Oh...That was a whole "different" sort of thrill."

"Huh...I have a feeling I'm about to get grounded. Then again, I have no idea what that would feel like with the whole "no parents" thing. I always wondered what it felt like." (Y/N) said.

"You're not going to school tomorrow." Artoria proclaimed.

"Uh, yeah I am." He replied.

"Fine. You can still go to school, but I'm coming with you everywhere from now on." She proclaimed once again.

"Uh, no you're not." He replied.

"Fine. Not everywhere. But I'm going to school with you." She proclaimed for the third time.

"Nnnnnno!" He barked in denial.

"Damn thee, Master!" Arotira boomed. "One day, I will think of a retort to the word "No"!" She declared.

"Said every man ever." Starlvador claimed.

'Shush!" (Y/N) shushed.

"We can't wait here at home all day, every day, waiting for you to come home "dead"!" She scolded.

"If that really happened, I wouldn't come home dead; I'd be dead." He replied.

Artoria deepened her disappointed glare. "Don't be smart with me, (Y/N)!" She hissed.

(Y/N) sighed in defeat. "Look, I wasn't just gonna let someone who badmouthed my friend and say things they knew nothing about and let them get away with it. That's just who I am. Sorry, but I prefer to stand up for the people I care about instead of letting people keep talking smack about someone when they don't even know them."

Rias sighed. "Artoria may have over-exaggerated what we told her. But she's right to a degree. You should've been more careful. Your power increased drastically when your transformation evolved. That can cause the mentality of the user to change. And not in a good way."

"Rias, if I wasn't sure I'd be able to control my new transformation, I wouldn't've kept fighting. But I did. So I did...Neh!" He countered.

"I understand that. But still, you should've been more careful." She said with worry.

"Excaliburs are a devil's greatest weakness. One direct hit from them and you're done. We heard you managed to survive a blow from one because of your transformation. But you still need to be careful!" Isabela scolded.

'Still, the fact he were able to survive a blow is astonishing. Regardless of what form he took, as devil he should've died. The fact that he's not is a good thing, but it still makes me wonder..." Siris looked to the young devil with a curious gaze. 'What is he exactly?'

"Well, what's done is done. As long as you promise to be more careful, I'll be happy." Rias smiled.

"I understand." The young devil accepted.

"However..." The King spoke up once again. "Is there anything you'd like to tell us? Talk to us about?" She asked with a hint of concern.

"Not really. Why?" He replied.

"You don't remember?" Asia asked.

"Remember what? Did I say something weird earlier?" He asked.

"What DO you remember from the duel?" Rias questioned.

"Well, let's see..." (Y/N) began to ponder. "I stepped in to fight Xenovia. I think I was winning. MY body started feeling heavy and was difficult to move like halfway through. She used that and got the better of me and my transformation evolved. Tested out my new power for a bit and the last thing I remember is walking back to rejoin you guys and collapsed face first into the ground. That's it." He claimed.

Everyone simply looked at each other in concern.

"What's up? Did I do something wrong or say something weird?" He asked.

"It...It's nothing. Don't worry about it." Rias assured.

(Y/N) looked to his master with a raised brow. "Okay?" He accepted before turning back to the stairs. "I'm gonna shower and head to bed. Night!" He bid as he left.

"...He doesn't remember." Asia said with shock.

"It's possible he suppressed his memory." Rias guessed. "Still, to think that's what happened to him and his family..." She said in disbelief and shock.

"It's clearly a sensitive subject. I'm sure he'll tell use once he's comfortable." Claimed Siris.

"It's been nearly three months since he joined the House of Gremory. Since he joined my Peerage. If he's not comfortable around us even after that long-"

"GAH!!! DAMN IT!!!" (Y/N) Roared loudly, shocking everyone into silence.

"You okay?!" Asia yelled.

"Yep!! Just...Felt a sharp pain in the head!! I'm good!!" He assured.

(Y/N) entered his room, drying his (H/C) hair as he continued to think. 'I hope those two got the food. Wonder if they actually went to the hotel too. I should call tomorrow.' He thought.

"There's the handsome devil~" Rias greeted, laying on her Pawn's bed, naked as per usual.

"I take it you're crashing in my room again?" He asked, his face somewhat flustered from the sight.

"That's right." She smiled.

"Alright." He simply accepted as he turned off the lights and walked to his bed. "Scooch." He said.

Rias moved over a bit to not take up the middle of the bed and let (Y/N) in. Once settled in, she moved back over to him and nuzzled her head into his chest. "By the way, I forgot to ask; where were you tonight?" She asked.

(Y/N) immediately grew the look of sudden worry. 'Oh shit!'

Kuoh Academy

"Congratulations! We're gonna karaoke with you all!!" Kiryuu declared.

"Asia, too, right?" Motohama asked eagerly.

"Yeah, I'm planning on it." Asia assured.

"Aw, hell yeah!!" Matsuda cheered. "Screw Kiryuu, I'll take two of that fly Asia!!"

Asia looked behind her and noticed (Y/N) staring off into the distance, a stern and calculating look in his face. "What's wrong, (Y/N)?" She asked with concern.

(Y/N), stuck within his own mind and thoughts, mentally excused himself from the conversation. 'I need to think of another way to help Kiba and Irina. If they both want the same thing, it'd make more sense to work untied under one goal. But, I should probably get some outside help. Don't want anyone else getting wrapped up in this.'

"You're thinking of helping him. Aren't you?" Issei asked quietly.

"Of course." He replied, turning to the Red Dragon Emperor with a stern, determined gaze. "You gonna try and stop me?"

Issei smiled assuringly. "On the contrary. I'm gonna make sure you don't do anything stupid doing this by yourself and come with you." He replied.

The young devils smiled to each other and numbed fists in solidarity.

"Still, we should get at least one more person to help." Issei advised. "The more people we have, the stronger we'll be. And the stronger we are, the better."

(Y/N) nodded. "True enough. But we can't go to anyone in our own House since we've been ordered to not get involved. So who-"

"Be careful not to the their loser rub off on you." Saji claimed, coming out of seemingly nowhere as he held Asia hand.

Asia simply stared at the blonde before smiling. "Oh, hello, Saji. How are you doing?" She greeted.

"Better now that I've laid my eyes on you." He assured.

The two of the three perverts grew enraged by Saji's sudden appearance.

"Watch it!" Matsuda barked.

"Student Council Secretary or not, you need to BACK OFF, MOFO!!!" Matsuda screamed.

The Sitri Pawn simply scoffed. "Such aggression." He said. "This is what I'm talking about, Asia." He said as he proceeded to leave.

The two Dragon Emperors watched as Saji walked off. A similar idea popping into their heads simultaneously.

(Y/N) grew a small smirk. "Hello, unsuspecting lamb."

Off on the track field, Koneko stopped in her tracks and glanced over to her seniors.

Café de Chaton

Both Azure and Red Dragon Emperors sat patiently at their table to their guest to arrive as they engulfed in their beverages.

"You really think he's gonna come?" Issei asked.

"Well, seeing as how he doesn't have beef with you. Most likely." (Y/N) said. "If it were me who tried to reach out to him, he'd probably say no since I'm pretty sure he's still sore about our last encounter. In more ways than one, I'm guessing." He added, remembering the time he Dragon Shot a dodge ball into his privates a while back.

"Hyoudou!" Greeted Saji, only for him to jump in shock. "(Y/N)'s here too?!"

"Yeah, I am." He said, raising a hand in his defense. "Look, I'm not here to cause trouble. I figured you would've said no if I had asked you so Issei did it instead. But that doesn't change the fact we need your help." He claimed, calming the Sitri devil down.

"I-I see." He sighed. "Well, I guess it can't be helped. After all..." He grew a confident smile. "It's the Student Council's job to help fellow students in need!"

"Such a sudden change in attitude." The Azure Dragon Emperor claimed.

"Yeah, well, time moves on, so gotta learn and grow when you can. So no worries." He assured. "So, what's the deal?" He asked, taking a seat at the table.

"Here's the thing. We wanna help Kiba and the Church destroy the Excaliburs."

Saji instantly looked at the two with shock and dread. "Hell no; are you two even serious?!" He yelled quietly.

Issei immediately bowed his head. "As a five-hour boner, dude!!" He proclaimed.

(Y/N) looked to his friend with cringe on his face. "That's...One hell of a comparison. But yeah, pretty damn serious."

"You're insane!!" He yelled, gaining the attention of some of the nearby customers. Realizing he's causing a scene, he sat back down. "You two realize our Presidents will punish us just for being involved with those Holy Swords, right? And yet you still wanna go out and destroy them?!"

"...Yeeh." (Y/N) replied.

"We're gonna get murdered for sure!!" Saji cried. "I mean, you both got Rias. She's strict, but reasonable. Sona is draconian and loves punishing us!! No way guys, sorry!!" He declined, springing up from his seat and proceeded to leave. Or at the very least, attempt too as he was held back by something.

The boys looked over the small hedge and spotted Koneko simply sitting at the table eating a parfait and holding Saji by the back of his shirt.

"Big surprise. I kinda had a feeling you would try and run away." She said.

Everyone reconvened at the same table and went over the desired plan once again.

Saji was forced to join them. "I wanna go home!" He whined, attempting to make another break for freedom before being pulled back down by Koneko.

"So you wanna cooperate with the Church?" Koneko asked (Y/N).

"Of course. I mean. I just makes sense to. Xenovia even said herself that the Church would rather have the swords destroyed then have them fall into the fallen angels' hands." He explained.

"Yes. It seems that they'll stop at nothing to get them back into the Church's hands." Koneko agreed.

"Kiba wants to get his revenge by destroying Excalibur. And the Church wants them either returned, or destroyed as a last resort, no matter what it costs. The goals might be slightly different, they'll most likely have the same result in the end. That's why it makes sense." He added.

"So, now we just need both parties to cooperate." Issei chimed in.

"I'm not sure they'll be eager to do this as you are, though." The Rook claimed.

"Are you kidding me?" (Y/N) questioned. "Irina literally tried to drag me out of the clubroom herself, saying I could help."

"Such a devoted lover you've got." Koneko pouted as she took another bite of her parfait.

"Regardless, we still need to try! Especially if it means Kiba he's to stay part of our family! And family looks out for one another, no matter what!!" (Y/N) declared.

"(Y/N)'s right! We've gotta do everything we can think of to help!"

Koneko simply looked at the two devils, slightly in awe at their dedication to one of their own. "First, we have to find those girls. Somehow." She suggested before rising from her seat. "I don't like keeping this secret for Rias and Akeno, but we have to do something to help him."

"If that's the case, then let's go find Irina and Xenovia. I set them up in a hotel last night, so let's head over and see if we can talk them into letting us help." (Y/N) advised.

Time Skip

At the group of devils continued on their way trough the city, Saji continued to sulk about having to be involved.

"Cool, so I don't have to be here anymore, do I? You've got your Rook on board, not to mention an overpowered badass, so what do you need me for?" Saji questioned as he continued to sulk.

"The more people we have, the stronger we are. And the stronger we are, the better. And we're not exactly working within the orders of our Houses this time, so we can't exactly go to anyone who knows for help." (Y/N) explained.

"How much farther is it to this place you set them up in, (Y/N)?" Issei asked.

"It's not too much farther. Hopefully they're still there." He replied.

"If not, finding them won't be too easy, you know?" The brunette replied. "It's not like we're gonna run into a couple of weirdoes in white robes on Main Street-" after turning a corner, Issei was suddenly silenced by what laid before him and the other devils.

"Oh, blessing on the wandering sheep before us!" Preached Xenovia.

"We are pitiful when compared to you, O Lord! Please have mercy upon us, dear Father!" Added Irina.

There they stood. On the side of the sidewalk with a sign made of bamboo and a piece of paper with "Help the hand of love!" written on it and a large bowl hanging below. A small empty box in Irina's hand as they continued to beg the passerbys for money.

"...Or maybe we will." (Y/N) said.

"Right." Koneko agreed.

Xenovia noticed the devils and looked over. "It's you." She acknowledged.

Irina looked past her partner and spotted her fiancé and insanity beamed a smile. "Hubby! Hey!" She cheered as she ran to her love and glompped him.

"Hey, Irina." He replied, looking back to their set up. "What uh...What all that about?" He asked.

Irina suddenly grew a look of nervousness, sweating bullets at incredibly speed as she tried to keep her smile. "W-Well we had a little issue with our funding, so we kinda had to resort to asking people for money."

(Y/N) simply looked at Irina with a deadpanned and doubtful gaze. "What happened?" He asked, turning to Xenovia for the truth.

"She spent the money we were given for our mission on some choppy painting because of what some man told her." Replied the bluenette.

(Y/N) sighed. "Yeah. That sounds like Irina alright."

Irina gasped. "And what's that supposed to mean?" She asked.

"It mean that even after all this time, you still suck when it comes to managing your money. That and you're just a gullible as usual." He replied with a cheeky grin.

Irina pouted at her fiancé, puffing her cheeks like a child.

"Actually, it's good we ran into here. We were hoping to talk to you two about a little proposition." (Y/N) said.

"Oh yeah?" Irina questioned.

"As members of the Church and followers of God, we would never make a deal with a devil!" Xenovia declined.

"There's food in it for ya. I'm buyin'." He prompted, pointing to a nearby diner.

The two immediately broke down their stand and ran in to the diner.

"...That's what I thought." He smirked proudly.

Emesto Host

"So delicious!" Xenovia praised, scarfing down as many dishes on the table as she could. "Don't you agree? This is heaven!" She added, her mouth full of food.

"Oh yeah!" Irina cheered, doing the exact same thing as her partner. "Everything I'm putting into my my mouth is like food for the soul!"

"Watching this is a little too intense for me." Said Saji.

"Yeah, looks like they were really hungry." Claimed Issei.

"Here's your hamburger steak." Said the waitress as she dropped off another dish.

(Y/N) looked at the table, watching the dishes pile up as the church girls continue to gorge themselves. "Irina. After coming here, excluding last night, how long was it since you last ate?" He asked.

Irina began to ponder as she continued to chew her food. "Not including last night?" She swallowed. "About three days."

(Y/N) sighed. "Yep. That'll do it."

Time Skip

The feast of the members of the Church continued in for at least another half hour. The table covered with piles and piles of dirty dishes. Irina and Xenovia had devoured everything available on the menu, and multitudes of them.

"What just happened?" Xenovia questioned. "Even if this will build our faith, the devil saving us must mean the end of days!"

(Y/N) simply glared at the offensive bluenette. "...You're welcome."

"Oh, for my beloved future husband to share such generosity by bestowing us not only a roof over our heads but food to fill our oh so hungry stomachs. Truly you have blessed me with such a wonderful love, oh Lord!" Irina preached happily.

"Thanks...I guess?" (Y/N) said questionably.

"Such a devoted lover." Koneko stared, somewhat unhappy and annoyed.

"Dude, you're seriously engaged to a member of the Church?! How'd you pull that off?!" Saji questioned quietly.

"It was a promise we made as kids." (Y/N) replied.

"I don't know whether to be jealous or worried." Saji said.

"Lord, please, have mercy on these kind souls that my darling has involved himself with, even if they are devils." Irina prayed for the devils.

The devils were immediately met with a furious headache.

"Ow!! Irina, stop it!!" (Y/N) screamed in agony.

"For the love of thick thighs! Damn it! We don't need God's blessing!! Stop it!!" Issei screamed.

"Oh right; I'm sorry. Force of habit." Irina apologized.

Xenovia simply sat in silence, pondering over her most recent revelation. She took a long drink, completely downing her glass of water. "Well? What's the deal? Why did you want to talk to us about?" She questioned with her usual cold and stern gaze.

(Y/N) returned Xenovia's gaze with his own, only more cold and calculating. "Simple; we want to help you destroy the Excalibur.

"What?"

"Look, the fact of the matter is, one of our friends is going to go to any lengths to destroy these stupid swords for revenge. I know all too well what living for revenge can lead one to. And we're doing this out of our own accord. Our Masters are not aware we're

doing this. Look, we want to help Kiba find peace, but we don't want him doing this alone. Especially father enemy is a leader of the fallen angels. We know what those little bastards are capable of. Even if it's just a couple swords, I'm sure it will bring Kiba some closure. So please, let us help you destroy Excalibur." He pleaded to the members of the Church, determination and drive burning within him.

Irina and Xenovia looked to eachother for a brief moment.

Irina smiled assuringly and Xenovia sighed.

"...I understand stand your situation. I don't mind letting you take care of one sword."

"Really?!" (Y/N) beamed happily. "Thank you."

Saji growled in disappointment. "Why couldn't she just have refused us like I was hoping she would?!"

Issei simply jabbed Saji in the ribs, silencing the blonde as he held his side in pain.

"We know what the other side has. Kokabiel is dangerous. Honestly, it'll be impossible for us to recover all three swords on our own." Xenovia explained. "But, after your demonstration yesterday, and seeing how much Irina vouches for your, I think it's safer to have your aid than be a potential threat."

"You'd be surprised how many times I've heard that...276." (Y/N) smirked, taking a drink of his water.

"We have a thirty percent chance of returning home. We knew what kind of risk we were taking before we got here. This isn't anything new." Irina added.

"True, we were sent by the higher ups, fully prepared to scarface our lives for the sake this sacred cause." Xenovia added.

"But! Since (Y/N)'s got our backs, we've totally got this!!" Irina cheered happily.

The waitress returned to the table with the bill and slid it to the (H/C) young devil. "Here you are. Whenever you're ready." She smiled.

Issei picked it up and looked at it nearly having a heart attack. "H-How the hell can two girls run up a bill like this?!" He questioned.

(Y/N) yanked the bill out of his friend's hand. "Doesn't matter. What's done is done." He said, pulling out his debit card. "Besides, you're not the one paying."

The waitress returned and took the card and the check.

"Thanks again, (Y/N). For everything." Irina smiled with gratitude.

"Yes...Thank you." Xenovia whispered.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" (Y/N) smirked, putting a hand to his ear. "You're gonna have to speak up. I'm having trouble hearing you. This is a family diner after all. Loud children and families and all that." He added.

Xenovia simply growled.

The waitress returned and slid the bill and his card back to the young devil. "Here you go. Have a wonderful day." She said, winking flirtatiously at the young devil. "Call me." She mouthed.

(Y/N) retrieved the check and his card, giving the number a simple look before humming as he put his things away.

"Dude, how're you doing that?!" Saji questioned loudly and upset.

"Do what? Pay for food?" He replied.

"Nothing like a harlot coming at you like a bitch in heat to get the carnal desires flowing, huh devil?" Xenovia questioned.

(Y/N) simply glared at the bluenette. "...You're really not a people person, are you?" He questioned. "Look, you can make whatever observations you have on me all you want, but right now we need to go find Kiba.

Kuoh City Park

After a few hours, they managed to track down the wandering Kiba and were able to corner him at the park in front of the fountain. They quickly discussed the plan and he looked rather disappointed.

"I get it..." Said Kiba. "But I'm quite disappointed that someone who could wield an Excalibur would approve of their destruction." He claimed.

"Speaking of disappointing. Didn't you recently abandon your place in the House of Gremory?" Xenovia questioned.

Kiba immediately glared at her.

"Since you're a stray now, we could exicute you if you'd like." Xenovia glared, prepared to draw her Excalibur of Destruction.

"You're welcome to try if you'd like." He Replied, preparing to summon one of his swords.

(Y/N) quickly stood between the two. "Alright Enough!! We're trying to cooperate here, and we're gonna need to if we wanna get this done. So both if you, put your hate boners away and chill out!" He ordered. "Irina, control your partner, please!!"

"Seriously Xenovia, you need to cool it!" The twin-tailed brunette scolded, tugging on her cloak and pulling her back.

"You obviously resent what the Holy Sword Project did. I completely understand." She claimed.

Kiba lowered his hand and dispersed his summoning.

"That incident is viewed with great repugnance by those of us currently with the Church, as well. We know. And that is why the person responsible was punished. Excommunicated." Xenovia explained.

"His name is Galilel Valper." Irina added.

"Huh. Try saying that three times fast. Gath-fuck!" (Y/N) cursed.

"He's also known as the Archbishop of Annihilation." Irina continued.

"I know Valper. It was all him." Said Kiba, barely hiding his distain and spite of the mentioned man. "He was responsible."

"I told you you one of his tools was a stray priest, didn't I?" Asked Xenovia.

"You mean Freed?" Questioned Issei.

"It's not uncommon for there to be collusion among those who've been banned from the Church. There's a high possibility Valper is involved with what's going on now, as well."

"...Well, after hearing that, there's no reason for me to not cooperate with you." Kiba accepted.

"Yay! Then I guess it's been decided." Irina cheered.

"We shall return the favor for the food and shelter someday, Azure Dragon Emperor (Y/N) (L/N)." Xenovia said as she began to walk away.

"I'll still take a simple thank you!!" He called back.

"Hey, (Y/N)..." Irina approached her fiancé. "After we meet up again later tonight, I'd...Really like to talk before we head out. Please?"

(Y/N) sighed. "Yeah. We really should talk."

Irina emailed. "'Kay." She hugged the young devil tightly and delivered a peck on the lips before she rejoined with her partner.

Issei sighed with relief, patting Saji on the shoulder. "So this is good news, yeah?"

Saji shot back quickly and clearly looked angry. "THIS IS NOT GOOD NEWS!!! THIS IS NOT GOOD NEWS AT ALL!!! NOT ONLY COULD WE HAVE BEEN KILLED, BUT WE COULD'VE BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR ANOTHER WAR WITH THE CHURCH!!!!" He yelled furiously.

"(Y/N)..." Kiba called out, gaining his attention.

"What? You've helped me and so many others out plenty of times before. So now it's our turn to help you." He explained.

"I want all of you to stay out of this."

Issei and Koneko has a look of shock and confusion, while (Y/N) looked slightly agitated, and Saji beamed happily.

"What's going on here is my revenge, not yours. I cannot allow this. I don't want you all involved." He said.

"Yeah? Well, tough shit. We're friends. We're Family, and family looks out for and helps one another, even when they don't ask for it." (Y/N) replied. "Tell me otherwise, I dare you!"

Kiba looked to the ground, defeated and confused, uncertain and worried about his allies' involvement in his affairs. "You're not wrong. But still, there's-"

(Y/N) pounded his fist onto Kiba's chest and looked him dead in the eye with a determined gaze. "But nothing. If you expect us to just let you go, then you're a moron! All so you could turn stray because of a decade old grudge? Don't you remember everything that we've been through?" He questioned. "Remember when Asia was kidnapped by the fallen angels? I fully intended on going there myself, but you, Issei and Koneko came to my aid and helped me. What about the tomb on the beach? Or the Rating Game? Even our mission in Alistor?! Do you remember none of that?! What about Rias? Can you even imagine what she's going through because of this? After everything she's done for us?!"

Kiba looked to the ground in defeat once again. "President Rias, Of course...Of course...I first met her because of the project. I would be dead if not for her." He admitted, slowly remembering what had happened to him and his friends all those years ago. "We were just kids, being experimented on day after day. Our freedom was taken, and we weren't even treated as humans. Yet, we all believed we were chosen by God. We held to those beliefs, hoping eventually we'd become special. However, not one of us became able to wield a Holy Sword...The experiment failed...We were disposed of pretty quickly after that in order to cover up what had happened. Even as we were vomiting blood and writhing on the floor. We looked to God to save us..."

Flashback

"Run away!!" One of the boys yelled to Kiba, grabbing on of the executioners' legs.

"Hurry! Save yourself!!" One of the girls begged she was stomped on by one of the other executioners.

The young Kiba Yuuto watched in horror as his friends fought their hardest to hold back their killers. Yet, despite his wanting to stay, he did as his dying friends told him and ran.

He burst through the doors of the building and ran into the snow covered woods and into the raging blizzard. He continued to run for what seemed like hours, running as far as he possibly could to escape the horrors and mutilation behind him.

From far off, multiple searchlights gleamed through the darkness of the woods. Constantly moving and growing closer.

"Which way did he go?!" One soldiers questioned in irritation.

"We have to catch him!" Another yelled.

Kiba's body began to feel weaker and weaker with every passing second. His body began to give in and suddenly tripped, falling face first into the snow. He quickly rose up and starting coughing out blood.

Suddenly, fast paced footsteps approached the young boy and he became terrified. He looked up and saw a figure in a black cloak in a white mask running his direction with oddly shaped swords in hand.

The figure ran closer and eventually passed him. "I'll hold them off!!" He said.

Kiba looked back in shock.

"Hurry!! Move it!!" The figure ordered.

"Hey! What's that?!" A solider asked.

"It's armed! Fire!!" Another ordered, unleashing their bullets onto the unknown figure.

Kiba watched as the unknown figure continued to fight for him, cutting down and eliminating the soldiers and executioners that killed his friends. He stood back up and continued.

He continued to run for what seemed like hours, eventually collapsing into the snow once again, tired and exhausted, on the cusps of freezing to death or succumbing to the toxic gas in his body. 'Damn it!' Kiba cursed. 'I have to make things right.' Using what strength he could muster, he tried to push himself up in the deep snow to continue onward. 'I have to avenge my comrades...My friends." He slowly rose up. 'No. I can't die yet! I have to live.' Despite his desire to live on, his body eventually gave in and fell once again.

"If you're going to die anyway, I don't mind taking you in." Another figure appeared before the dying boy. A woman with long crimson hair dressed head to toe in pink winter clothes.

The boy looked up and was the young Rias Gremory.

She smiled to the young boy. "So from now on, live for me."

"I thank Rias from the bottom of my heart for taking me in as a part of her House...But the truth is, I was only able to run away because of my comrades and the kindness of some unknown people. They're the real reason I'm still here. That's why I have to destroy Excalibur! My sword contains my friends' pain. As the only survivor, I have no choice." He declared.

Out of nowhere Saji began to sob uncontrollably and began bawling. "Oh, Kiba!" He cried. "I had no ideas you had such a horribly tragic past! And I don't care about Sona's punishment anymore. (Y/N)-" he grabbed the Azure Dragon Emperor's hands and shook them with eagerness. "Put me in coach!! I'll help you with every single thing I've got!!" He promised.

"Such the drastic change. Thanks man." (Y/N) smiled.

Koneko tugged on the Knight's shirt, gaining his attention. "I will also help you." She said.

"Koneko?" Kiba asked.

"Don't be stupid. It would be sad if you weren't with us, Kiba."

Kiba stared at Koneko, sensing the sincerity in her voice and determination in her topaz colored eyes. He couldn't help but smile. "I guess I've lost then." He accepted. "I mean, if you're even going along with this plan, the I'm just never gonna be able to do anything rash on my own."

"Damn straight." (Y/N) replied.

"Plus we all agree who the real enemy is. I will accept your help, so thanks, guys." Kiba smiled with gratitude.
