The Council’s depute

The woman who stood before us wore a black Beret hat and light coat; she also wears leggings with high heel boots. The woman looks down "So you two, names are Isaac and Abel Tatsuya? Honored to make acquaintance with you both." She warmly greeted me. Abel said with skepticism "I am sorry do we know you, old lady?" Isaac nervously covers his brother's mouth while his brother muffled in protest. The lady was not bothered by his brother's comment that would normally get yelled at or slapped for it.

The lady properly introduced herself "My name Tia Agaia, I am your aunt I have been waiting a long time for this." Isaac and Abel stare at each other while Isaac took his hand off Abel's mouth with doubt "Tia Agaia, never heard of you I know a lot of family that I met before live outside of the country and our parents never mention you." Tia seems to be hurt by that fact as she responds, "It is true because I am another family that your parents would rather want to forget that we exist despite we are the same family." This took them by surprise.

Abel changed his tone, feeling bad what he said earlier "Sorry what I had said that to you Auntie." Isaac remains on guard while he thinks that there is something odd about this, "If it is true what she says then how come I never seen a family holo-photobook of her somewhere almost if…" Tia interrupted Isaac's thoughts "Let's just say that your mother and I had disagreements that drove us apart. I want to reconnect to my nephews that have never seen you born." Isaac felt his behavior changing by her presence there however, he saw something he should not trust her not completely.

As the leaves blow across before them, as Tia ominously looks on her face "Isaac and Abel we need your help for that no will be willing to do." Abel stood behind his brother's back there was solemn and sense resolve in her voice "Isaac and Abel you two have duty to fulfill that will depend on the survival of the Observers' future that made have for you both would your parents deny you both." Isaac illuminates his confusion "What duty? What is an Observer?" Isaac quaked.

Without explaining anything with the blink of an eye everything warped she grabbed their shoulders. The people turned there were no more three people when they heard a wisp sound left behind. Isaac and Abel scream for a second then suddenly halt everything and remain very still. Tia stays still to allow them to recuperate for a few minutes. Isaac and Abel were their knees breathing like they had been on a marathon twenty-four hours spirit does not stop. Their aunt comments "If you were humans you would be sore for days, since you two are Observers it is mild discomfort for those who have not trained their bodies this level of speed." Isaac and Abel gradually stand up.

This so-called "mild discomfort" Isaac complains in his mind was traumatizing as his brother was silent during their aunt walking to their destination. Isaac noticed that something is different. It is icy cold. Isaac and Abel felt that their light coats and jeans were not warm enough that they wrapped their hands under their armpit to get extra heat. Abel chattering his teeth "W-why i-is i-it s-so cold!?" murmurs Abel. Tia seems to smile with pride "This cold place is my hometown Moscow, Russia." Isaac dumbstruck with that notation "Russia!? How can that be? We were in Divided States. At least that's the last time I checked." Tia could help to chuckle a bit "Someone has not been paying for Geographic class." As they got out of the alley way there was a bright city light urban city.

Isaac didn't realize how late it was, there was a different time zone which must have been afternoon in the Divided States late night in Russia. There were few people walking among the streets as we saw the night bar when a group of men came from drinking ridiculous amounts of alcohol. They brush us by, without care in the world. Tia gave them instructions "Alright listen closely because I am going to say this only once, do not say anything unless you are spoken to. Isaac and Abel are nervous by this while Abel fidgets with his hands "Are we dealing with a Mafia of some sort, Auntie?" Tia glanced at him for a moment as she replied, "Let's just say there's one person we can't afford to have a bad impression with and they have high expectations for you both, please do mess this up." Immediately they felt a massive amount of anxiety running through their minds.

There was a backside of the bar that had some crates and bottles laying on the ground, as Tia scanned her surroundings expecting someone was watching them. Then she waves her hand indicating it okay to come. Isaac and Abel walk carefully where they tread, as their aunt had placed her hand on the wall. Isaac sees something that intrigues him. These kanjis engravings look old. Before he asks her what those are, she utters that is completely not coherent, not a language he would not know from anywhere. The engravings glow an unearthly light as flash in the moment their surroundings changed completely.

The building is not a bar building anymore considering it is much cleaner than the previous place. It looks like a fortress has two pillars at the front that have strange kanjis on the front gate that are unearthly glow. Then above it there's insignia on the cornerstone that Isaac never seen before. There was a sense of familiarity that there was a glimpse of flashback that Isaac when he was four years old. His parents would wave it around that insignia with pride until he turned eight years old never saw it again. There was a great deal of sadness that day he could not remember why.

Abel is confused about what happened that he outburst "WHY THERE ANOTHER BUILDING THAT NO ONE IS TAKING NOTICE OR BAT AN EYE OF THIS!? WHAT IS THIS PHENOMENON!?" Tia places her hands on the her hips as if she was expecting she had go another explanation "Abel, the reason no one can this because of the veil gives an illusion of rundown bar building so no one think this place is ordinary so we don't want people or enemies accidently discover this place for it is sanctuary for Observers. We are part of endangered species. We are a population of 100,000 people on Earth as for the rest we are either dead or lost to unknown regions of the universes that no one bothers to try to find them for it is far too risky especially when we are few numbers to attempt that." Isaac and Abel could not believe it.

Tia impatiently taps her foot "Look as much I would like to explain to you boys, they are waiting for us to enter through the gate, I will answer all the questions you two have after we meet important people here." Isaac and Abel refrains from asking anymore questions now. Tia walked carefully not to trigger any trap as she made a hand sign like house while having her middle finger and ring finger to cover atop of her two fingers as her thumbs are placed in that form a circle beneath it. She is speaking another language that is surprisingly not Russian. Isaac is trying to understand what she is saying to no avail.

The kanjis brighten up a moment to hear a click sound of unlocking the gate lifting upwards as she placed her hands down after finishing presumably spoke a password. She told them to come quickly as the two boys ran behind her. Entering inside the front gate as it closes behind them. There were two guards standing and told them to stop as if this was standard procedure to see what their business "State your business and identify yourselves." They wore guard uniforms that is black and green stripes as their left shoulders had that same insignia from the cornerstone. To describe it there's a circle in the center as the diamond to four corners while there's wings on left and right of it and finally there's tail wings on the bottom.

Tia identifies herself as well to her nephews "I am Tia Agaia these two are mine nephews Isaac and Abel Tatsuya they are with me. The council is expecting us to come swiftly." The guards check their holo-devices to see that her name registers her meeting as well. One female guard said, "You are cleared to go Miss Agaia, they had been expecting you to save you time. You are authorized to use hyper steps to reach your destination." Before Isaac and Abel were about to ask what "hyper step" their aunt grabbed them by the arms' instant speed that they saw everything blurring from their visions.

It was a second before it was over, once they reached their destination that Isaac and Abel were annoyed by their aunt pulling a literal fast one on them. Although they feel a bit lightheaded but, aunt seems to be used to sort of thing. They are in a grand hall that wide enough that people are moving around their daily life. There are flagtails hanging on the walls showing their Observer's insignia. Tia walking to the door that is heavily guarded with securities. Isaac and Abel felt something different here, their presences stronger and felt puny than they normally felt. However, their aunt looked confident and stood her ground. "I am here with my nephews to meet with the council." The securities stand aside as one opens the door for them.

Isaac, Abel, and Tia enter the room as the door closes with a loud shut. Immediately, the atmosphere changes differently that their Aunt's face turns serious there two women and one-man appearing sitting like monks on mats that pavilion above their heads. One middle aged dark skin woman wearing a robe that has a scarf that has kanjis written glares with their blue piercing eyes towards their aunt then to Isaac and Abel. Isaac noticed her aunt's brow is sweating with a bit of nervousness as her hand's trembles subtlety.

Their eyes stare deep into Isaac's soul because they seemed to know what they did in the past until now, nearly wanting to confess what he did wrong. Why did he feel this way his body and spirit want to scream at them to stop staring at him? Even his brother had the worst of it nearly scream of discomfort. Isaac felt like he is being judged in different ways that he despises being probed by them uncomfortably. Isaac had enough that he was about to shout angrily at them that his aunt placed her hand on his chest while shaking her head no.

A long five minutes uncomfortable had passed and finally one another lady spoke toward Tia "They have failed our test miserably, Tia they are unfit to be met with the Messenger." While the council nods in agreement with her. Isaac and Abel felt their pride somewhat wounded just hearing these old coots. The man spoke "Tayra and Cara we have other candidates that we personally selected along with a guardian to training and waiting years for this. Isaac and Abel Tatsuya lacked the qualities that were needed for a difficult journey." Lack of qualities, Isaac angrily fumed at this notation.

Cara, who is light skinned, had brown ponytail comments "You are too quick to anger, that is too risky on Messenger to handle for he is inexperienced and may not be receptive of that. We cannot afford to have that; we must bid you farewell." Isaac scoffs in his mind "Whatever I did not come here just be insulted by them." Isaac notations his brother leaves room. However, their aunt's attitude turns disdainful "Oh, you know best we are comfortable with those we are familiar with in our ever dwindling numbers that have done us well." The council tone changed their mannerism to sudden hostility in the room.

"Tia Agaia, we allow your inputs to be heard but, our decision is final." Tayra crossly glares at her. Tia snaps at them "You rely too much on your Observer's eyes that deprives you of real judgement of action than what you see and blinds you! WHAT GOOD DID IT FOR OUR PEOPLE!? DID THEY FORESEEN THEIR DEATHS AND BURNING OF THE PLANET'S ATMOSHPHERE MASS GENOCIDE OF BILLIONS OF PEOPLE GONE AND LOST!" The room suddenly became heavy and intense with enmity that changed the council to an openly murderous intent presence that brought Isaac and Abel to their knees.

Isaac and Abel were struggling to stand up and stay conscious for the large amount of pressure and got hard to breathe. The man in the middle accused their aunt "Treasonous thoughts will get you executed." Tia retorted back to him "Can you truly afford killing your own people? When knowingly we are becoming few in numbers will bring an unprecedented amount of fear that it will cause a collapse of our society within days you will have an uprising which will leave more people closer to extinction than what we would want, Darren." They backtracked their murderous intent as Darren composed himself along with the others and that intensity left the room that Isaac and Abel cautiously stood up not wanting to set off this delicate situation.

Tayra and Cara are still on defensive with Tia as Darren spoke calmly "We do not want any more of our brothers and sisters to shed more blood for something foolish of an opinion. Tia you refuse to take no for an answer perhaps we should reconsider placing what we selected on standby. What do you truly want for them to accomplish?" Tia looks at her nephews then back to Darren, Tayra, and Cara "With them they shall have greater potential than ones you selected for they taught by Observer's ways will prevent them from seeing and allow growth. We these boys are friends rather than spies with Messenger. We then support the Messenger so they find the lost people of Observers can reunite us again." Isaac could not help to feel a sense of admiration for her aunt.

Tayra set her jaw with that suggestion but remained quiet. Cara adjusts herself "Being Friends with a Messenger is a mistake that our previous predecessors had made." Tia defends the Messenger "That is because they constantly undermine him and his duties for the different reasons. I volunteer to oversee Isaac's, Abel's, and Messenger's training and guide them so they can avoid mistakes such as that." The council asked for such a willing person to go "Tia Agaia are sure you? You and your sister had not seen eye to eye, especially doing this behind their backs. What makes you think they allow you to be near them?" questioned the council.

Tia said with uncertainty "I will deal with them later right now training with these is my main priority since time is very short, we have only three months before the other Factions completed vortex portal to locate the Messenger." Then the Council dismisses them "Very well, you may leave to presume training with the boys at time of location back to the Divide States with set location when all the preparations are completed. We will notify you that the location of the portal will be held at. Until then, All Seeing Eye may watch over you." Tia, Isaac, and Abel departed the room and eventually teleported back to Divide States safely.
