This is a story about an open-relationship between an unwilling prostitute and a married man. 


He was in an open marriage, but she's not the wife. To be one of the many partners of a man committed to another woman was her role. 


She wanted to hide her feelings that were starting to grow, her longing to be by his side, and lastly herself, by virtue of an open relationship. 


However, it was all for naught. When everything came to light, she desired to end the relationship they had. Her last words echoed through his mind as she bid him farewell through her mournful eyes. 


"If only I hadn't met you, I wouldn't be hurting this badly."

"I just met up with an old acquaintance. Besides, why are you even asking? It's not like you to be concerned about where I am and what I do." Kara said in a way that would spite Konrad.

She didn't think for a second that he was concerned about her. Their relationship had no space where it could foster consideration. As a matter of fact, that would be the last thing that she'd ask from her husband.

Konrad simply engaged his wife in a staredown. Speaking any further would warrant her taunting. He was definitely not keen on ruining his mood by talking with such an aggressive character that early in his day.

Since he didn't show any intentions of getting out of the elevator, adding to the reality that Syn was with them, his guards already knew what to do. Rohan hurriedly pressed the down button. In the meanwhile, the other three arranged themselves in order to hide Syn's figure from Kara's vision. To their relief, the woman seemed to be fixated on Konrad.
