Averhatus let its nails burrow deep in its palms. The indignation that the Prince felt had already replaced its desire to amuse itself. The Pillar of Avarice was the creation that it cherished the most. The anger upon seeing it get destroyed was reasonable.

The demon bit down on its lips hard to an extent that the act drew blood almost immediately. But Avarhatus could care less. Although it wished to confront the perpetrator as soon as possible, it was wary of lunging itself right away. If an individual was strong enough to create a crack on the pillar, then their chances of defeating the Prince were something that the demon should be cautious about. It had to abide for the time that the executor would show up.
