The Netherworld
SOMEWHERE IN THE MORTUARY
THE TALL MAN watches as a SENTINEL comes into the ROOM and sets itself in his hand, THE TALL MAN nodding as he looks down at at GURNEY with LIZBETH tied to it, LIZBETH looking up at him as he smirks.
THE TALL MAN
They have come for you. It is a shame, that they will not find you ever again.
LIZBETH'S EYES go WIDE as as THE TALL MAN smiles.
INT. THE MORTUARY
JODY, MIKE, and REGGIE head down the hallway as the loud humming begins to emanate from behind a nearby room.
JODY
This it?
MIKE
Yeah.
The THREE come up to it slowly as the DOOR was decorated with the decorum of Greek mythology.
MIKE and JODY look at each other as JODY begins towards it, but as he does something from behind him grabs him.
REGGIE screams startled and turns to aim but MIKE stops him as JAYSON looks at them astonished.
JAYSON
What's up.
MIKE
JAYSON...You ain't dead!
MIKE hugs his friend as JAYSON hugs him back, REGGIE smiling as JODY smirks and pats JAYSON on the shoulder as MIKE steps back grinning.
JAYSON
Yeah and I ain't three foot two either.
JODY
JAYSON...What's happening man?
JAYSON
I don't know, JODY...I got knocked out back at the house, I come to and these LURKER'S are putting me on this gurney, bout to drill one of those damn sphere's into my head.
JODY
How'd you get out?
JAYSON
I came to right as it was happening, knocked one off of me and bolted out of the room, been running around here for like ten minuets, finally heard something down this way and well...took a shot that you weren't some LURKER.
JODY
Well, JAYSON...
JODY pats JAYSON and pushes him up front towards the DOOR.
JODY
After you.
JAYSON
Seriously?
JODY pumps the SHOTGUN.
JODY
We'll cover ya.
JAYSON looks unsure as MIKE hands JAYSON his MACHETE, JAYSON nodding as he comes over towards the door, JODY, REGGIE, and MIKE all backing away as JAYSON continues towards the door, JAYSON gulping as he grabs the handle and opens the door, before quickly scooting back.
INT. THE WHITE ROOM
PURPLE PODS line all along the wall as the ROOM was solid white, with nothing but PURRPLE PODS of all sizes lining all across the WALL.
JAYSON, JODY, REGGIE, and MIKE step inside as they scan about suspiciously as JODY comes over and checks about some of the pods as REGGIE just scanned about, JAYSON looking at how high the PODS stacked up as MIKE came over towards the humming noise, which was situated towards the back of the room where TWO RODS stood THREE FOOT from each other.
JODY looks inside as he see's the forming face of a DWARF, JAYSON checking another as a LURKER was seen inside in stasis.
JAYSON
What the hell is this?
JODY
Stasis pods? For what though? MIKE.
MIKE turns and as he does, MIKE notices his hand disappear between the TWO RODS, MIKE quickly pulling his hand back as he looks at the TWIN RODS before coming over to JODY.
MIKE
Yeah?
JODY
What do you make of this?
MIKE
I don't know...they're all asleep right?
REGGIE
Yeah, they're all different sizes too...there's a few that's our size...got a lot of dwarf's and a few in-between.
MIKE
Come over here...I wanna show y'all this.
JODY has a hard time prying himself from the PODS but he comes over as JAYSON and REGGIE come and stare at the TWIN RODS.
REGGIE
What the hell?
MIKE
That's not the strangest part...
MIKE bends down and slowly pushes his hand between the rods, the others watching as his hand and arm begin to disappear.
JODY
MIKE...
MIKE
I'm fine, it's just..
A strong current kicks up and like a suction, MIKE screams as he is sucked inside.
EXT. NETHERWORLD
MIKE begins to free fall but stops in mid air as he watches a STRANGE DESERT LIKE WORLD unfold below him, a series of roads lead up towards a STRANGE CITY far off in the distance but as he dangles he see's DWARF'S unloading the PURPLE PODS as LURKER'S where carrying the POD'S to VEHICLES, MIKE watching this with assessing eyes as suddenly he is jerked backwards into the sky.
INT. THE WHITE ROOM
JODY pulls MIKE back as MIKE is smoking, JAYSON and REGGIE patting them both down as JODY breaths in heavily as MIKE just stares looking at the TWIN RODS.
JODY
Jesus...I just grabbed him there...But it was like...like he was being pulled down...
MIKE
Gravity...
JODY
What?
MIKE
And the heat....
REGGIE
MIKE?
JAYSON
What did you see?
MIKE
It was...like another world...another planet.
JODY
What?
MIKE
Yeah...and it was hot, really hot...and the gravity...it was crushing ...that's why he does it. That's why the TALL MAN crushes so many of the bodies?
REGGIE
Yeah...crushing them down so they can adept to the weight of their world...
JAYSON
And those rods...
MIKE
That's the gate to their planet.
JODY
And these guys are all ready to go then huh?
MIKE
Yeah..he's offloading our dead, his army to that planet. Keeping what he needs here and shipping the rest off back to his world.
JODY
So then...how the hell do we close this thing?
JAYSON
Where are the GRENADES?
MIKE
Long story.
REGGIE
We need to find LIZBETH...and stop the TALL MAN.
MIKE
I'll do that.
JODY
Not alone you're not.
REGGIE
Me and JAYSON will find a way to take this thing out. You guy's go find LIZBETH.
JODY
JAYSON, where did you escape from?
JAYSON
Back end of the MORTUARY, best bet.
JODY
Come on, MIKE...And REG, JAYSON...be careful.
REGGIE
See you on the other side?
JODY nods as MIKE slaps JAYSON across the face.
JAYSON
What the hell?!
MIKE
Don't get taken again, or next time it will be worse.
JAYSON
Yeah...you too.
MIKE follows his brother as REGGIE grips the FOUR BARREL and looks about.
REGGIE
So...what now?
