Bail

Dressed in black as usual, Arthur was walking to school. It was monday. He was listening to music and walking slowly, eating chocolate. His hair looked a little wet from the shower.

'What happened Saturday, huh? I really don't know how to classify our relationship now. But if she denied it, then we can be considered friends who had intimate actions. Let's see what the future holds!'

As he thought about how strange Saturday had been, Arthr had arrived at the gate. He was already on his third chocolate. 'This is worse than a cigarette...'

"Hi Arthur? How is your hand?" A soft voice asked Arthur.

Pretending he didn't hear anything, Arthur walked right past this person. It was Patricia. She still had her backpack on her back and looking like a rich little princess with her golden hair tied in a ponytail.

"Hey? You're on the phone, so you're not listening to me?" She reached out to reach Arthur. She hid her embarrassment with a smile now.

"I'm listening to you. But I really have more important things now. Excuse me!" In a neutral voice, Arthur only swung his arm to avoid her touch. He really didn't have the slightest bit of patience and didn't want to spoil the good mood.

Even with all that fighting and so on, serving to remind Arthur of how incredibly weak he was, and also that he was now in someone else's game, the memory of Beatrice in his arms was enough to put a smile on his face. The only times he was genuinely happy were when he was with the people he cared about. And Patricia was far from that category.

She, along with Charles and Carlos. The only reason Arthur never did anything to them was the simple fact that they were kids. All minors who assaulted another minor. The reason Arthur had fucked himself up wasn't their fault alone. He was solely responsible for falling for their plot, and also for having such a weak body. So he just wanted to beat the two boys, while he wasn't much of a fan of hurting women. But he wouldn't be quiet if he suffered a provocation.

"Hey, idiot! Get away from her!" Charles had seen the whole scene and already approached. He had the courage to want to shrug his shoulders with Arthur.

Bump!

Arthur didn't even shrug his right shoulder. With all the training he was doing, wouldn't be surprising if he stopped a car from moving. Hitting an iron bar on him would only dent the bar. Charles really thought he could emerge victorious in a direct battle against him.

'The last time was luck... and maybe a little technique. He would never be stronger than me! Shit!'

Charles didn't even have the right time to think before he was pushed to the ground. His back hit like he'd slipped and his breathing stopped. He hurriedly got up from the ground, gasping for air.

"Bastard!" He was alone, but he didn't think he would be defeated. He had only been beaten a few times, and that was it. He still had a chance. And beating this kid would show Patricia who was really worth staying with.

This confusion had already caught the attention of the people around, who were now watching. As they were still close to the gate, the teachers in the distance would not arrive in time if a fight broke out.

Emily was with the girls and only now noticed Arthur. She had been distracted by something just now and didn't look at his arrival. She was already approaching, not even expecting Sara and Madison.

Beatrice was watching from afar. Unlike Emily, she didn't try to get close. She was embarrassed to talk to Arthur, and her cheeks flushed like she was on fire every time she thought of their kiss. She was almost startled to see Arthur's gaze focused on her in an instant. 'What was I on my mind when I did that!? We can't!...but it felt so good...'

Arthur wasn't even annoyed with all this bullshit. He was looking at Charles with pity. 'To think that this guy hit me a while ago... aren't things going too fast?'

"Stay on the floor." With that simple command, Arthur walked right through the whole mess. He was heading to his classroom. He used some of his Will when he spoke now.

"F-fuck you!" Charles ignored him and was already punching him. He couldn't understand why he started shaking all of a sudden, but he wouldn't let that bastard get away with it.

What he got from Arthur was a pitying look. Those shiny green eyes suddenly turned into terrifying demon eyes. They seemed to want to consume his soul, and the only thing he wanted to do now was get on his knees and apologize.

"I recommend you go to the bathroom..." Arthur shook his head and walked towards Emily, who was on her way.

"Hahaha! He pissed his pants!" One of the students standing nearby pointed at Charles. A smear of water that stretched from the top of his groin to his knees was clear for all to see.

"Ugh! What's that smell?...wait...you-!?" Patricia, who was behind Charles, smelled a horrible smell and looked at Charles' ass, which was also wet, and even a little loaded.

"Disgusting! I'm going to throw up!" The girls who were watching around walked away, giving him disgusted looks.

They all walked away, leaving Charles alone and dirty. Tears were streaming down as he glared at Arthur's back.

"I don't recommend you to go there! Looks like the guy got dirty..." Arthur went to Emily and held her so she wouldn't be curious and end up regretting it later.

Feeling the touch of Arthur's hand on her stomach and arm, Emily's face flushed. She remembered that night when they'd almost kissed and blushed even more. But she still asked, "idiot! Are you okay? What happened?"

"I happened to be saying a prayer and God sent an angel straight in front of me! Look at she here! Let's go." He pinched her nose and then pulled her away. Arthur didn't go to the classroom anymore, leaving to put the backpack there after the Anthem.

"Okay..." Emily unconsciously replied and followed Arthur away from the stench. She was flushed and didn't want to talk about what just happened.

At lunchtime, it was the day that the two first-year classes went up together for lunch.

Arthur had spent the entire time so far looking at Beatrice without saying anything. He sometimes didn't even look away when she suddenly looked at him. Thanks to that he was able to see the feelings and emotions she felt through her gaze.

'She looks so cute like that! It makes me want to squeeze it!' Even imagining that this was just a wish, looking at Beatrice's fluffy, flushed, pouting face made his hand move by itself and squeeze her cheeks until she says enough is enough and almost bite his hand.

The two didn't say anything about the kiss, as if they wanted to keep it a secret. Arthur more or less understood what she must be going through, so he left it alone too. He wouldn't force what she didn't want. But if she wanted... The matter would be different!

"Hey! Man, are you happy today, huh? It looks like you had se- Okay, I stopped!" Arthur passed in front of the room and greeted Gabriel. They looked like friends now. After all, they both helped each other, technically. He stopped talking when he saw Gabriel's murderous gaze.

He also saw that it had been Janice's class and she was still organizing things in the classroom. He stuck his head inside.

"Good afternoon, teacher!" With an innocent smile on his face, but only they understood, Arthur waved at her.

"Good afternoon!" She greeted him back, but her gaze then landed on Gabriel and blushed a little, almost imperceptibly. 'He didn't tell, did he? Arthur knows something?'

"Come on, I have that subject to talk to you about!" Arthur pulled Gabriel and walked away. They were going up to the cafeteria now.

"I wish I had lunch with her!" Gabriel said, low and angry.

"Do you think I care? If it weren't for me, do you think you'd have something like this? And you didn't even mention if I'm going to be the best man at the wedding!" Arthur spoke with righteous indignation. They were talking low for only the two of them to hear. Beatrice and Aline were behind them and they were all going to lunch together.

"Just say what you want!" Gabriel was already getting stressed by Arthur's manner, although he found it a bit funny. But he couldn't show it, or Arthur would spend the day clowning around.

"Did you see if you can get him out of jail?" Arthur's voice got a little more serious at this point.

"Do you have any plans for that?" Gabriel asked back. He wanted to know how far Arthur could go on his own.

"Of course I have. But you have the connections. And since you are my connection, your connections are easier to connect. Connected?" Arthur used the word connection so much that it lost its meaning.

"Speak straight!"

"Stressed guy! But it's alright. I asked my brother to give me some data from the police station and found it was a huge mess after that mission. It seems that the delegate in charge of the operation was corrupt and ended up disappearing after the mission. He was replaced by a new delegate, but I didn't even read that information properly. The important thing is that thanks to this the legal proceedings for the arrest have been slowed down and he has not yet entered a decisive trial."

"Very good. What's your next step then?" Gabriel was a little impressed by Arthur's seriousness. This guy seemed to be the source of different personalities that lived in harmony. It was impressive!

"What are you guys talking about?" Beatrice asked curiously as she saw the two of them almost whispering and speaking nonsense words to them.

"Drugs and whori-"

"About your slideshow this afternoon!" Gabriel pushed Arthur away before he could finish speaking and spoke to Beatrice.

"Oh! Haha!" Beatrice had still listened for a bit and looked at Arthur, who was mumbling to the side at being pushed. She left the matter alone and continued talking to Aline. She didn't want to get more involved and blush again when she looked at Arthur.

"Anyway!" Arthur straightened his clothes before continuing, "The crime is still big and the judging is almost one-way, so he's already on remand. I would like you to help me get him a provisional release and hire a great trusted lawyer to declassify the crime. If acquittal is not possible, then I would pay the bail to have him released from jail. That's it! Would you help me?"

"Clever, looks like you've done a lot of research!" Gabriel gave Arthur a serious nod.

"I didn't study. Someone taught me a long time ago..." A mysterious look appeared on Arthur, as if he was remembering something very precious. He soon shook his head, saying, "But it's all in the past! Can you or can't you?"

"I can. The trial is in 5 days, so you'll pick him up at the police station tomorrow. It's not too hard to get the provisional release, so don't do shit, and don't even let him do it during that time!" Gabriel nodded as he looked at Arthur's expression.

"Thank you! When you marry, the woman is yours!" Arthur gave Gabriel a thumbs up.

"Bastard!" Gabriel missed the kick he was going to give in Arthur.
