Trial Of War -Preperation- (1)

Allen and chad would be right in front of all 300 men and women, standing on top of a big square wooden platform, with a little podium for him to stand on, he really felt like he was out of place with 300 people armed with weapons, and apparently they are under his control.

A single sweat droplet appears on his left cheek and then slowly rolls down the side, falling off of his face and splashing onto the wooden floor.

-Come on man, say something already-

He felt the stares gaze at him, as they awaited for him to do something or to say something at least, even he himself trying to urge himself to speak up at the 300 people.

"What do I see? I see 300 people."

Allen started off slow and soft with everyone ears perked up at the words that Allen finally spoke, as he was getting ready to begin some sort of on the spot speech, even if you can call it a speech.

"I see 300 strong! 300 united! 300 amazing people that I have ever laid my eyes upon!"

Arms started to flail around, with each deep breath he takes in to shout at the top of his lungs, across all 300 of them.

"I see 300 good people belonging to Roma Tempus! 300 people that will fight for the glory of the Roma Tempus Empire!"

He then raised up a fist in the air, and then he twists his upper body toward Chad, as he tossed him a blunted tip spear, that Allen quickly catches and swings around.

"Now, I know some of you may find me unsuited for this position, some may see me as weak... Hell you may even find me annoying."

He started to pace around on top of the podium for a little while, then he stops in the middle and raises his spear to points at all of them.

His eyes, his face, his posture, all shows the clear signs that he was ready for battle, for WAR!

"But I'm not going to demand your respect, or acknowledgement, I simply ask of you few people to lend me your strength! I promise- No I guarantee with your strength we will win!"

He swings his weapon up in the air, and then let out a war cry to insight some morale, and to excite the people.

"For the glory of Roma Tempus!"

Allen shouted, at all 300 of them.

"For the glory of Roma Tempus!"

They shouted back at full force back at Allen, the pressure from that single cheer felt heavy on his body, but it was their same very cheer that he knew he could stand up in front of all of them.

"Urah! Urah! Urah!"

Everything was in order, the mini speech he gave out seem to be enough to hyped all of them up, and to show some pride that Allen had given to them.

A particular female warrior that was standing away in the corner of his eye, seeing who she was Allen eyes became widen and his mouth dropped open a little.

-She here as well?-

The female that was catching his attention was none other then the specialized soldier that he could buy in the shop.

The brunette hair color, dark red pupil eye color, a body that was curvy but muscular at the same time, the mix chubby and sharp jawline, a cup size of C, the multiple scars on her body, and her lightish almond skin color, with the height of 5 ft and 8 inches.

She was leaning against a wooden support beam for the stables, with an short sword on her waist and then a rounded shield on her back, as both of their eyes meet each other, He suddenly a cold chill went down his spine with each passing second he was still looking at her.

"Now! Everyone... Dismiss!"

Issuing the order for his troops to bugger off so he could have a little chat with the brunette girl.

Footsteps and hooves of horses soon began to move around, as all of them began to disperse to do their own thing, or some of them were posted guard along the walls, or patrolling around the area.

"Nicely done, Young master."

Chad Slowly bows forwards, and then coming straight back up right after.

"Hey Chad, Can I ask you to give out pointers or advice to the troops? We should have enough time for you to do that."

He spoke to Chad while still looking away at him, since all of his attention was focus all on the brunette girl, by the stables, as Chad quickly caught onto this and nodded.

"Right away young master."

Chad turned around and walked away from the platform, and picking some weapons along the way to give some basic advice to the troops that was available to teach.

Allen gripped the spear he was holding onto tightly, as he stepped off the podium, and then the wooden platform and was headed toward the praetorian female guard.

"Hello there."

As Allen approaches her, he smiles a little giving off a friendly gesture between the two and knowing the type of warrior she is, she is his 1 specialize soldier for his entire army.

Allen reach out his hand for a handshake toward this women, but what he received in the end was a blunted sword swung at his face at full force, he could see the metal lining of the weapon of how close it was.

"Woah~ a bit too-."

"Diana, Livia"

Her voice sounded crisp, and very crude, she was showing no signs of a dangerous nor friendly vibes what so ever, then she slowly spins her one handed short sword back into her weapon sheath.

"Diana Livia? That's your name? I like it."

Diana crossed her arms together, and just stares at Allen. She was wearing some leather padded pauldrons but her torso she had some light chain mail under some thick cloth and some knee pads, with some medieval style leather boots with minor metal plating strap onto it.

"You uh... Don't talk much do you?"

He started to feel awkward at how quiet it seems between the two, so he wanted to break the ice between the two, but this had to be a two way thing.

"You think you can beat the other 5?"

She finally said something else beside her name he thought, But the question she ask was something he couldn't really answer.

"I did guarantee my word on this, Didn't I?"

He responded back to Diana.

"Then I hope your actions can live up to your words."

This made Allen feel weird about himself, What did she mean by that? Was that a insult or not?

"What do you mean by that?"

Diana just ended up rolling her eyes, and then sighs a little, she then returns to look at Allen.

"I mean that you better win this... My liege."

She retorted back at Allen, with a bit of annoyed tone of voice, She kind of glared at Allen eyes, feeling.another chill go down his spine.

"He...hehe- Right~"

Allen chuckles weirdly to Diana response, as he was rubbing the back of his spiky black hair slowly, while still feeling the dreaded ominence.

He glance around the area and saw the keep of the castle, with its grand outer design he wanted to explore it, to see all the things and what kind of decor it has.

"It was a pleasure meeting with you, Diana."

He clapped his hands together and then began to take some steps back away from her, in the direction of the keep, and then he just took off.

She just saw this and shake her head at the sight she just saw.

He ran across the grass and dirt ground as he slows down his movement the closer he gets to the large keep doors, two guards with a wooden pike shield, and were holding two spears guarding the entrance.

Their armor was a full set of brigandine armor, with the flag symbol stitch onto the front of the armor design.

"Welcome to the keep, Your highness."

They both said at the same time, as one of them opens the door, letting Allen into the building.

The keep in this type of castle was built along the walls to maximize space efficiency, and to allow quicker access up onto the walls, and the fact that the keep was on the furthest wall away from the other castles.

Another reason is that the flag pole is located somewhere inside the keep, not only do have to siege the castle walls, but to break open the keeps large wooden doors.

Everything was going to be hard, not just only for Allen sake, but for everyone else's as well.

No one wanted to seem like the weak link in this mini proto arena setup between empires, cause this is knowledge they can use against each other, how they lead, how they fight in large battles.

And other important factors that people will need to consider about others.
