Entering The Ancient Map

Ranata looked at the map in his hand and appraising it for a bit while analyzing each details in the map.

It seems that the biggest Island in the center will be the first starting point on this map.

There is a picture of a stone gate exactly in the middle of a bridge connecting the two separated Islands that seems to be splitted from a single big Island in the center, right on the very center of the map.

There are also five stone gates drawn on the border of the left Island and four stone gates drawn on the Island on the right side.

The left side of the Island are filled with mountains drawn on it, with white snowy peaks.

To reach each of the gates on the border, one need to cross a range of snowy mountain.

Meanwhile, the Island on the right side are drawn as a plains, with rivers and lake on it and a small amount of forest trees are also drawn on it.

Ranata have decided to test this map for a little bit to see what challenge lies behind.

He knows that to enter the hidden realms painted inside this map scroll, one only need to channel their spiritual energy to this map and pointed it to which Island they want to visit.

The Island that can be chosen, or to be more precise, the place that currently are the only choice right now are the stone gate in the middle.

Any spiritual energy that are pointed to any other places are simply repelled and forcefully directed to there.

He also know that, once getting inside the hidden realms in the map painting, one can get out from the portal that is set on the stone gate in the middle of the Island.

Holding his breath with excitement, Ranata poured his spiritual energy to the point of his destination and in the blink of an eye, his body warped and he vanished without a trace along with the map he hold in his hand....

Ranata found himself safely warped into the map.

He is now are standing with his back facing a stone gate.

On his left and right are each a wide stone bridge big enough for a pair of elephants running side by side on it.

He see the bridge leading to a land filled with tall mountains with snowy peaks on his right side, hails and snowflakes are raining with cold breeze harshly blew on the top.

[Snowy Peaks Realm] is what the name he retrieve from his sea of knowledge.

On his left side he sees a wide bridge which lead to a plain so wide that it span even to the horizon.

He can see some primeval beasts prowling around in the plains, they looked like some animals from primitive era.

He can see a bison with horns as big as a tree trunks, an elephant with six tusks, and even a deer twice the size of a normal one in this era, with antlers three to four times as big as the ones from the modern species.

[Ancestral Plains] is the name of that place, recalled by Ranata from his mind.

Choosing between a harsh snowy mountain or a wide, warm plains, it is very obvious which one is easier for the start.

So without any hesitation, Ranata walked on the bridge leading to the Ancestral Plains.

He have now changed his gear back to his adventuring equipment, wearing his new Azure Black Thunder Wolf Leather Jacket, hanging his new Fine Steel Longsword in his waist and brandishing it in his right hand.

Ranata walked carefully but without any hesitation, excitement and curiosity filled his mind as he enter the first realm he choose....
