"So..."

"So?"

"Have you repented yet?"

"Have we repented Shar?"

"I think we have."

"Just a moment and I'll get the door open."

"Oh there's no need we'll just stay here and study. I've almost gotten control over the fire element and will be moving on to earth next."

"Oh, ok...wait you haven't repented at all have you!?"

"Have we Shar?"

"Doesn't seem we have."

Both me and Shar had been locked in the library for about two hours now. I had read through the basics and decided to practice control which is honestly quite a bit harder than it may seem. So far I had gotten my fire magic under control and truly it was a task to behold. Magic was partly based on emotion. Fire is quite the easy one to understand, it's emotional representation was anger, rage, frustration, negative emotions in general. The more I failed the more I became frustrated and the harder it was to control. Thankfully I had Shar there to keep me calm.

"DING"

"You have learned fire magic!"

In all honesty I found it quite counter productive for magic to be controlled by emotions. If one were using water magic and wanted to be precise but they were angry or disgruntled it would probably fail horribly.

"Hey Aria is there a way for magic to be controlled other than emotions."

"DING"

"Message from system master: Many have tried to do such a thing but most lead to dead ends but thanks to the system such a thing is not needed. All you need is a thought and you can use it however you want though the intensity of magic the magic will use more mana. As such you don't really need to practice it though it's always good to be proficient in something in case of emergency.

"Talk about a cheat. Welp that answers that, now back to practicing."

"But I haven't even finished my explanation. Wait were you even listening!?" Aria asked obviously annoyed

"Nope, not in the slightest."

"You~"

"Yes?"

"REPENT!"

"Whatever you say boss lady."

Angry noises could be heard all throughout the room for a time before it seemed Aria left again.

...

"Don't you think we should at least apologize for teasing her so we can get out of here? We're eventually need to get out to use the bathroom."

"Oh, I already did."

"W-where!?"

"Into my inventory." It was probably then that I had doomed myself to a world of embarrassment down the line.

'Meh, she can tell whoever she wants but she's still my lover and I'm sure she'd also suffer embarrassment.'

"How prideful are you and how come I haven't seen any of it until now?"

"Because its fun to mess with her."

*sigh*

...

"Well it seems I've completed the basics I guess it's time to move on to the more challenging stuff."

"Already?"

"You haven't? It's been a while since we've been locked in here."

"I'm close but not completely."

"Well seeing as we have plenty of time study away." I say with a grin that only gets a sigh

"Oh you can't deny you like to mess with her too."

"Mmm~"

"Come on, admit it. Otherwise I might have to to torture you!"

"What kind of dirty thoughts are you having!?"

"Fufu, it is not me that's having the dirty thoughts, I believe it is you~."

"Hmph" she turned her head to the right a blush present on her face.

"So I was right! It seems my innocent little lover is not as innocent as I first thought!"

All I hear is a mumble which I assume are curses of some kind and I go back to doing magic stuff. Suddenly I remember a certain magic I received when I changed races that I had not yet used.

"Blood magic"

"Hm? What did you say?" Came the voice of Aria from right behind me.

I snapped my head to the direction from where the voice originated and there stood Aria leaning over.

"Nothing, what do you want?"

"Just here to give you some food, wouldn't want you to starve in here." She said while holding up a basket

"Huh, what do you have?"

"Bread, cheese, chicken and some water."

Slowly she lifted a plate out of the basket onto the table and placed another opposite with one more to the right.

Sharla finally looked up from her book and stood up. Slowly she approached and sat at the plate closest to mine.

"You may eat as long as apologize." Aria stated firmly

Shar's stomach grumbled loudly and i relented.

"Haa~, fine~. I apologize for teasing you, happy?"

"Yes"

"You better be because I'm only ever apologizing to one person more than once."

"Uhuh, now let's eat."

Note: not really sure how much I like this chapter. Probably gonna change it later or something but here it is.
