Act 6

Everyone gaped, scrutinizing the nonchalant woman who wore an indifferent gaze. Ten million dollars was an exponentially large sum of money for them, as most of them came from ordinary working-class families.

So it wasn't surprising when they gave her gleams of incredulity as she was the poorest of them all.

But contrary to their expectations, instead of outwardly refusing the unbelievable offer, the man agreed without a second thought.

This seemingly arbitrary agreement caused everyone's jaw to drop in astonishment as they started speculating the identity of the man.

The term 'Sugar daddy' popped up on a few of the student's heads upon listening to the phone call.

Indeed, amongst these students were the 'bullies' who only cared to jabber from the sidelines, not daring to take physical action on Yue XiFeng nor Lian Ji. Hence, Yue XiFeng never bothered with them as they had never tried to harm them physically, as opposed to the scheming court officials she had to deal with daily.

But who knows what possessed them as upon hearing the phone call, a group of four approached Yue XiFeng's desk as they snickered, before babbling aloud,

"Look, the school goddess has a sugar daddy! So the man from three years ago was..."

One of them loudly sneered, catching the attention of the other students who intently observed the situation with amusement. Paired with the fact that she never bothered to explain the strange incident in the past, many people remained curious regarding her life.

People who asked the identity of the man three years ago returned trembling involuntarily, refusing to elaborate. This scenario further increased the curiosity of the other students who were reluctant to leave during that time.

Yue XiFeng rolled her eyes as she cocked her head to the side, not caring as to what the braided girl loudly exclaimed. This gesture embedded deep frowns on the group's faces as one of them lifted her hand as to hit her.

Though Yue XiFeng excelled in martial arts, she kept the fact hidden, not wanting to constantly deal with club or gang recruitments, nor to be blamed for beating up students. She portrayed the image of a confident and frail girl, nobody would believe it if someone were to point fingers at her, and she preferred it that way.

But since this is her last day, so why not show the actual reason nobody dared to provoke her?

Giving a meaningful glance to Lian Ji, Yue XiFeng smiled and pointed towards the phone who was still on a call. The latter understood as she hastily typed on it, overlooking the ongoing call as she did not hang upon it.

Turning back towards the seething girl, her hand that swung to hit Yue XiFeng's face was caught and twisted in midair, a cracking sound coming from it. The girl winced in pain as she wept, gawking tearily at her hand that faced the improper way.

"Ahh..! Ah...!"

The girl wailed as she knelt in a disheveled state, screaming from the top of her lungs, with her friends staggering upon witnessing it.

Yue XiFeng spent no time to waste as she gazed upon the two indistinct figures with a smile on her face.

"Where are you going~?"

She asked as they attempted to flee, not daring to continue confronting her as they didn't want to end with a dislocated joint.

Yue XiFeng stood still before jumping atop a desk and somersaulted, landing directly in front of the withered girls.

"I said, where do you think you're going?"

She proclaimed in a sweet voice, a mischievous grin still present on her face.

The girls trembled as they saw this side of the normally aloof and indifferent Yue XiFeng, a side that caused a feeling of dread to well up within them.

With a pleading gaze, tears welled up from their palid expressions, invoking pity to those around them. But strangely, even the quivering girls didn't know why they felt this way, why they felt so afraid of the delicate girl in front of them.

However, they soon realized why as Yue XiFeng grasped onto one of their collars and lifted the girl high in the sky, before violently tossing her to the side. The impact from it wasn't that severe as the wall was directly beside her, nevertheless, the pain from being thrown could still be felt. What astonished them further, however, was the fact that she did them all with one hand, something even guys had trouble executing.

The domineering girl who still plastered a devilish grin on her face, turned towards the bob haired girl beside her as she punched her stomach, utilizing the momentum of her body weight. The girl coughed out blood as she wheezed from having trouble breathing as her body wasn't quite resilient enough.

Yue XiFeng did a number on them as they passed out in pain, earning her a ticket to the principal's office as several students reported her violent behavior.

Meanwhile, the man who was blatantly ignored after he agreed, remained confused about the situation on the opposing side as all he could hear was the terror-filled shrieks of students.

Li Qiang furrowed his phoenix-like brows while his eyes ignited with a dangerous glint. A sinister aura enveloped the meeting room, causing the surrounding employees to quiver in fear as he commanded with his low voice, "Prepare the car for HuiWen Highschool."

The employees who were used to their boss's antics turned a blind eye to his ridiculousness as they silently lowered their heads in acknowledgment.

But one particular employee, to be more precise his most trusted secretary, reminded him of what was at stake if he were to leave.

"But sir, the meeting with-" He attempted to announce but was interrupted as his gaze fell upon the surrounding shareholders who shook their heads in acquiesce.

"Now." The man coldly repeated as he stood up, carrying his suit in tow, causing the secretary to helplessly reply a, "Y-yes, sir!" as he followed in reluctance.

If one were to comprehend the look the man's expression as he walked towards the car, it would've been of wistfulness. However, his mien caused them all to think otherwise as they abstained from believing that their boss is doing all these outrageous things for one woman.
