Chapter 22

Fana stepped onto the rock filled area after exiting the portal created by Elden.

' Hmm luckily I can go straight there to see the creatures. Besides that, the route has been closed off by their interference. '

Fana started running to teach the the road to see the creatures for herself.

' Sigh my fire won't have much of an effect considering they are made of stone but I can start to actually make a difference if they keep getting hit. '

Fana soon reached the the pathway. It was narrow. It provided only one path as the sides were covered by the large rocks.

She could see some boulders on the pathway but she new better.

' They can roll themselves up and be able to attack people like that. Faster they are harder they hit.

I doubt I can kill them. Let's see if I can get a reactions from them. '

Fana created a fireball before firing at them. The fireball flew through the air hitting its target. The flames then spreader out onto the creatures.

Fana watched as the flames fizzled out. Not a single movement.

' They didn't move. I don't have the ability to get through there rock bodies to kill them.

However I don't need to kill them. The job said I have to get rid of them from the road. I can just move them instead but they are extremely heavy. '

Fana sat on the cliff above the road as she tried to think of an idea.

' Let's see. They need air. Captain told me that fire usually reduces the amount of air in a givin place.

If they need air they will try to remove the fire to get air. They also have arms. I could probably carry them by making birds from fire.

Luckily training with captain allowed me to be able to do so. Made me focus on making many objects even animals. '

Fana thought to herself before an idea struck her. A lightbulb brightened up above her head as she looked at the creatures.

' It might work but I only have one try. '

Fana jumped down in front of the creatures before using her fire to cover their entire beings in flames.

' Alright now to increase the heat. '

The flames became hotter as the heat they gave off could felt from 30 feet away. The flames burned brightly gaining a beautiful orange red colour.

After a few minutes movement could be seen by the creatures. It was faint but not a hallucination.

The creatures twitched and became more appearant as they started to move.

' They are coming towards me. I can use this. '

Fana quickly propelled herself backwards by expelling fire from her feet. Simutainiously she kept the fire going on the creatures before they snuffed them out by rolling.

To keep there attention she attacked them with blast of concentrated fireballs.

They followed after her as she lead them far away from the cliffs.

' Hmm they rolling and won't stop. I need to keep them in place and force them to come out.

I can make potholes in the ground underneath them. Even if they roll they will stay in one place. '

She did just that. For each of them she created potholes as they got stuck. The potholes were about an inch deep but it was enough.

The creatures tried to roll out but couldn't so they retracted as they rebeled their muscular rock arms and faces.

' Well at least I know what they look like now. '

Fana quickly made some birds and made them grab the creatures before they could attack again.

' They can cause small earthquakes which would mess up my balance and could've knocked out of the air by throwing rocks.

Now then let's get them out the way. '

The fire birds lifted the creatures up as they tried to remove themselves from the grip.

' Tch. They would well escape soon. I need to find a way to beat them. Wait they are basically stone.

They are heavy. I'll just drop them in a river. '

Propelling herself upwards she spotted a lake close to her location as she sent the birds in that direction.

The creatures say this and wanted to free themselves but Fana held on and ket them in place till they were over the lakes crystal blue water.

" What was it that captain would say when we went to that lake for some relaxation. Oh right.

Cannonball!! "

Fana dropped the creatures when she released her fire birds. The creatures dropped into the lake creating large splashes that reached 15 feet into the air.

Fana enjoyed the view before falling onto her butt exhausted.

' The jobs done. I can know go to sleep once I hit my glorious bed. ' Fana thought.

Quickly calling Elden and reporting that she was finished, he picked her up and brought her to her room as she passed out in his arms from exhaustion.
