Chapter 31: To Frasha
"Anya, What do I do with this?" Nine said while holding the staff which is still sleeping in his hand.
"Oh, give it to me" I said as I reached out my hand
We are now packing things from Nine's house, and putting them inside the luxurious Carriage which they still managed to take care after all this time.
"Are you sure about this?" I asked after putting the staff away and standing beside Nine
"Yes, There is nothing left for me in here" Nine said as he look at his house for the last time
I just nodded my head and headed to the carriage where Tafi is arranging the stuff to make more room.
The night when Nine turned his emotional switch back on was a week ago, after sulking for a couple of days, Nine finally talked to us, and told me that he will accompany us on our journey since he already lost his purpose in life. He also said that he wanted to get away from this place so basically, he will accompany us because he's bored. I don't know if I should be happy about it or not? Anyway, the agreement still stands so even though we are on the road, the training will still continue which adds to the reasons why he will be coming with us.
The next ark after Nine's also appeared in my head thanks to the author skill, so our next destination will be the empire, It's actually not the next destination in the novel but something relevant appeared in one of the scenes revealed by the skill and it was the ringer of slavery in the empire. So I have to put an end of the slavery in my country first before moving with the timeline on my novel.
I may not be recognized as the Princess of the empire anymore but my duty as a Princess and as a human being who is against slavery is rooted too deep in my soul. I want to at least do something for my family even though they can't see it anymore and if slavery is still rampant today that means Father failed before and as a daughter I should continue what he started, right?
"Uhm, Tafi? what's this?" I asked as soon as I opened the door of the huge carriage
in the middle of the carriage where a coffee table used to stand are mountain of things dividing the carriage into two sections.
"I was told by my Mother that girls and boys should never share room!" Tafi said proudly
That seemed to be right but why is the space on one side larger than the other? I guess I should go to the smaller side since I'll be the only one staying on that side.
I was about to go to the smaller side but Tafi tugged one side of my robe
"This is your side Lady Anya" Tafi said as he point on the side with larger room
"But, wouldn't it be more convenient for the four of you to stay on that side?" I asked
"I will be staying on the roof, One will be driving so only two people will stay in this side" He said
Hmm That makes sense, I unconsciously nodded my head which made the, now taller than me child, smile
"I'll drive till tonight then we switch tomorrow" Zain said to Eli who is busy fixing his robe
"So where should we camp?" Eli asked Zain who is holding the map
"We will just camp wherever we can" Zain said nonchalantly which made Eli furrow his brows
No matter how long it had been, I still can't believe that I am now inside the world of my novel, I also can't believe that I am actually talking and mingling with the characters that used to be in my imagination.
I can't help but smile at the thought. Is this how a mother feels when they see their children grow up?
"Anya? Why are you teary?" Eli suddenly asked
"Oh it's nothing" I said as I wipe the tear that escaped my eyes away
"So what are we gonna do in the empire? are we supposed to meet someone there like Nine?" Zain asked
I just shook my head at his question
"We will be ending the slavery in the Theodoreford empire" I said

It has been a week since we started to travel, the air grew dry and hot as we go along the path towards the Frasha village, or what used to be the Frasha village.
We are now at the edge of the forest and beyond us is a vast desert with thousands of monster and human decays as well as scavenger monsters and animals that feasts on the dead bodies left on the sand.
"Urgh" Tafi was the first one to cover his nose, since beast folks have heightened senses.
"More than a year of battle made the desert like this" Nine said as he touched the sand and looked at the dead bodies ahead.
"How come the flood of monsters never end? they should be extinct by now? or the Frasha should have collapse" Zain said
He is not wrong I also wonder why the flood of monsters never end.
"Should we head out or should we wait for the night?" Tafi asked
"We should head out, night is too dangerous in a desert." I said which by the way, I learned from watching various TV shows back on earth.
Nine nodded at my words so we continued on our journey.
Not long after that, the gates of Frasha came into view, and just as expected, it was covered by thousands of monsters while archers above the gate kept on raining down flaming arrows. The horde of monsters that are climbing the stone wall of Frasha reminds me of some Zombie movies I watched way back on earth.
The Carriage we were riding was glowing gold and silver under the hot sun which attracted the attention of the people above the gate and the walls, and it was not just the human's attention but also the monsters.
Almost half of the horde went running towards our carriage so I tightened my grip on the still sleeping staff and thought of some spells that can be used at the moment but then Nine stopped me.
The mountain if things that used to divide the carriage is gone by the way, it was during my first time driving the carriage, since we took turns, Nine destroyed the pile of things and even scolded Tafi about building something so ridiculous. Anyway, that time Nine lounged on my spot and Tafi was bruised on the face and body after opposing his master. I did not mind that incident, I mean they all vowed to never betray me remember? Who would dare harm me with the covenant's vow? Okay, lets go back to reality.
"Don't do anything unnecessary, with that number of monsters, You'll only drain your mana again! I don't want to wait another year for you to wake up" Nine said resolutely so I lowered the staff

I refrained from using extravagant magic ever since I woke up so my mana always goes back to its full capacity after a day or two, I also practiced meditating which makes the mana absorption faster.
"Zain, Eli, and Tafi. I taught you attacks that can affect multiple targets within a specific area the other day right? Show me what you learned, This will be your application training" Nine said while pointing at the horde that is getting near us with every minute of delay
The three young men were dumbfounded by Nine's words
This should be interesting, I mean I am so bugged by the thought that Zain did not wake his aura ability during the ambush in Nine's house, It was all because of my interference but maybe with this, the growth will not be so delayed.
Zain took out Valentina, which I lent to him before, Eli took out his bow and created arrows using magic, He told us that those arrows are death arrows, which was forged by his black magic. Each arrow contains a grudge of the dead, he collected a lot of grudges after the battle in Nine's house. This was not in my book so it was fascinating to know something I didn't come up with. Anyway when the arrow is embedded in a living human or animal or monster, it will kill the person immediately and will even take the soul and grudge of the newly dead person back to Eli so the more Eli kills in the battlefield, the more arrows he will be able to conjure. Despite this, I am still looking forward to the necromancy spell, I mean Eli is one of the most vulnerable but also OP characters I made. The more he kills the more his summons will be. He is like a one man army!
Tafi on the other hand who is on the roof heard Nine's words and transformed into a tiger that is standing with two feet, this is his berserk mode, Tafi's training is pretty special since he doesn't need a weapon, so Nine trained Tafi to maintain his Berserk mode for longer periods of time. So far, Tafi can maintain that form for 3 hours straight. During berserk mode, his body will change and he will look more like an animal but larger and bulkier than the normal ones, his attacks will be more powerful and his movement will be faster, his claws and teeth will also be sharper than a sword. Tafi still looked cute despite looking like a king tiger.
"Do your best, Remember that I will know if you are slacking off!" Nine shouted out after the three made their way to the front, where hordes of monsters are coming.

From the stone wall of the Frasha village a man with coppery red hair is looking with his binoculars into the distance where a shiny carriage is parked. and three people were fighting an unbelievable number of monsters. Despite the terrific fight, his eyes were elsewhere.

I felt someone look at me so I immediately activated my Dragon eyes, and then I saw, up on one of the watch towers of Frasha, a man with a familiar copper red hair is looking at me with his binoculars, I also saw how surprised he looked and then he smiled. With a blink on an eye the man suddenly disappeared.
"Anya look out!!!" Nine suddenly exclaimed and hid me behind his back
despite Nine's huge back, I can still see through him, and there in front of him a man who used to be as large and bulky as Nine stood, with his baggy armor and his sword on his waist.
"I looked around the entire forest for you, but I didn't find you so I just assumed that you were eaten by monsters or something like that" The familiar deep voice said as he smiled warmly
"Who are you?!" Nine exclaimed as he glared at the uninvited man
I just tapped Nine's shoulders and walked to his side.
"Its been a while, Sir Denise"
