Chapter 3

Linconson Academy! The second biggest school in the uk. And actually a school with a really bad reputation. But Amina thought Amariyah would do just fine in any school. When year 7 came, Amariyah was very nervous, just as any other year 7 was. Joining a new school and being the youngest year is quite scary, especially if ur really small, which in Amariyah's case she was. But she pushed herself to just get on.

When she first joined she came across a girl named Jeisa. They bonded really quickly and for the first week they became inseparable. But then after a while Amariyah started to gravitate towards a girl names Rayna. Now,  they were best friends at the time. Everyone knows that people will always lose friends but the way their friendship ended was quite messy.

Amariyah and Rayna became friends with other girls and became a big group of friends. The group included: Kimberly, Sophia, Michelle, Mya and Leanne. They were all really close and all got along. But after a while some of the girls just didn't like the way the Amariyah acted. They basically saw her as annoying, but in her case she just wanted to fit in with everyone else.

At the time, Amariyah was disliked by these two girls called Lani and Reema. They bullied her for her hair, how weird she was and "having no friends". Reema took it upon herself to start calling Leanne names just for hanging out with Amariyah. Amariyah was seen as an easy target as she wasn't one to be rude instantly. She also found it hard to stick up for herself. So it looked like she was letting people pick on her. In all honesty it did affect her social life and for a period of time she didn't want to go to school.

When Amina found out, she wasn't letting anyone bully her baby girl. She reported it to the teachers many times and yet they didn't do anything. She decided that it was soon going to be time where she will have to take matters into her own hands! She didn't want her daughter to have the same lifestyle as her. She wanted her first born to be successful and accomplish many things.

Amariyah was at a stage in her life where she discovered that she had started to like people. She wouldn't just like them for their looks, she admired their personality and they way that they acted. Amariyah knew that she was a funny girl and also very extraordinary, but some people just didn't like her. And that's when she figured out that not everyone is going to get on in life.
