Battle at the tree!
it's finally the time! it is daylight, we just got out of the hotel. only Lucario and Alex are out now, the rest is in their pokeballs and were going to battle the next gym leader! it will be the gym leader

the gardener... huh, i know this guy will be tough, but he is very old. but hey! he is the gym leader!
so, when we're near the gym leader, it was a Tree! it was huge too! it is almost as tall as the tower! this thing must have lived for thousands of years! i wonder what type of tree is this...
"it's so big!" Lucario said to us
"This tree must be very old" Alex added
"yeah... hey, let's get in!" then we went up the stairs around the tree. it is a long walk, a bunch of flying pokemon can be seen, and plants that seem to be taken care of...

as we walk at the path from the tree, i can feel that we're getting closer.

"Why did they built it like this?" Alex said concern
"well... it seems fun!" Lucario added,
then i sighed and walk backward
"what are you doi-"
i quickly cut off Alex by running then jump off the edge of the platform!
"Justin!" Alex screamed at me while I'm in the air,
i quickly grabbed one of the dangling vines and swing forward!
i feel my weight on my hands as i swing with the vine, the momentum is powerful too!
i let go of the vine that i grabbed, and with momentum, i grabbed the other vine!
i could feel that i just lost some speed!
luckily, i was near the platform!
i let go of the other vine and landed on the platform perfectly!
i turned to see Alex sighed in relief as i was at the platform,
"they must have wanted us to do that!" i yelled at my friends at the distant
"uh... how do we get there?" Alex added
"Like this!" Lucario yelled, then he leaped off the edge of the platform and landed beside me instantly!
"what the-" i blurted
"it's that easy!" Lucario cheered
Alex looks around and looks at a vine, then he walk backward as well, then he jumped off as well, he grabbed a vine in mid-air and swings it. then he lets go as he had enough momentum and landed at the platform were on as well, he only needed one!
"wow! that's nice!" i then applause at both of them
"thanks!" Lucario thanked
"we should move on" Alex added, then i stopped my clapping and went up the stairs again with the rest following me

after a walk and more stunts at the tree, we have finally reached the end of the stairs. i walked up and walk on even ground again, and i see an Arena... at a tree?! there are leaves covering the outside, wall and roofs are fully natural! it is quite chilly tho...
"Ho! So yeh've made it clear up here! I'm the Gym Leader. Ramos's the name. So what'd yeh think, whippersnapper? Did yeh enjoy the garden playground I made with all these sturdy plants o' mine?" the old man named Ramos says to us, he is at the arena!
"uh..." my mind went kinda blank with those words
"yeah! it was fun!" Lucario replied happily
"thank you, blue sprout!" he said to us
(note, i did forget the fact that Lucario talked... so... crap)
"oh... and I'm here to battle you!" my mind cleared up, also. i remembered that he has been using the scissor on his side for 32 years now!
"hohoho! I'm ready yeh whippersnapper!"Ramos replied with his way of talking

were at our stations, Alex is already at the field, ready to battle. and with Ramos ready as well
"Jumpluff! yer out!" he throws a Pokeball and a Jumpluff was out!
oh no! it is a flying type!
"we'll have to be careful," i said quietly to Alex,
he nodded in reply
The battle at the tree has begun!
"use acrobat!" Ramos yelled, then the Jumpluff glows blue and zips towards Alex
"Alex, use Protect!" i yelled telepathically
Alex quickly made a screen and it blocks the Jumpluff from ramming at him, there is a shockwave by the impact!
"Alex! spycho cut!" then he swings his arm as it glows and hits the Jumpluff, he took a lot of damage, but he is still able to battle, he shrugged of the pain as he is still floating in the air
"stun spore!" Ramos yelled, then he releases a cloud of spore! it hits Alex!
"Alex!" i yelled with my mouth as he groaned by the attack!
"now! use Dazzling Gleam!"
OH NO!
The Jumppluff starts to glow!
"Alex! use Protect again!" i yelled, but he failed!
Jumpluff is now almost ready!
"get out of there!" i yelled
then the Jumpluff burst out a blinding light!
i can't see! i blocked my eyes with my arm
"ack! that's bright!" Lucario yelled beside me
after it was starting to get dark, i lowered my arm and see the Jumpluff alone, Alex is gone!
"huh? where did that sprout g-"
then suddenly a beam came towards behind Jumpluff and hits him! then Alex landed right in front of Ramos!
"WOW!" he said surprised
"Alex! let's do this!"
he nodded,
"get close to Jumpluff!"
then he dashes towards Jumpluff, and burst dust towards Ramos as he runs towards Jumpluff, he turns around to see Alex sprinting towards him. he is waiting for Ramos's order!
"punch him!" i yelled,
when Alex got close to him, he quickly pushed him and he was sent flying towards Lucario!
Lucario catches him, Lucario and i looks at the Jumpluff on Lucario paws to see him...
Fainted!
Lucario, Alex, and i walk to Ramos who is still dusting off,
"it looks like you whippersnapper beat one of my friends" he said to us
"hehe, yeah" i replied,
"thanks"
then Ramos returns him from Lucarios paw, Lucario was a bit confused about what happened to the Jumpluff, but he realizes this once Ramos put back his Pokeball.
"i should head back now" then i run back towards my place with Lucario and Alex following
after we're back, the battle continues!
"Victreebel!" he yelled as he sent out Victreebel
"use sweet scent!"
with that call, the Victreebel release a large amount of pink smoke!
it was filling up the entire area! Alex can't dodge it
"Alex, try not to breathe it in too much!" then Alex block his face to not breathe to much of the gas, it came towards me!
it smells... sweet?
"huh? that smells nice!" Lucario said besides me
"Alex, be careful!" i said to him
the area is kinda covered in smokes, makes it harder to see the opponent
"poison and sleep powder!" Ramos yelled at the pink mist, i couldn't really see, but suddenly
Alex was sprayed by a bunch of powder!
"GAAA!" he yelled as it hits him, he stumbles down and started shaking, he is poisoned and falling asleep!
"ah see that yeh don't fight with full power! yeh gonna lose if yeh don't start being serious!" Ramos yelled at the distance...
he is right... i am underestimating them again!
"Alex, stay strong! remember your training!" i yelled, then he stands up with pale and sore eyes, his face turned purple a bit. but he is still able to battle
"huh? he is strong" Ramos mumbled
"then... use leaf tornado!" he added,
then suddenly the mist went away and revealing the Victreebel has leaves spinning around him like a tornado!
"Alex! cancel his attack with psycho cut!" then he swings his arm with full effort and launches the attack!, it hits the Victreebel and the tornado stopped forming!
"use it again!" i yelled, then he successfully launches another one and hit's him again, then he drops to the ground! he was defeated!
"Yeh can't take things too quickly when it comes to forming a friendship with yer Pokémon, sprout!" he said to us while returning Victreebel
"yeah... i can see that" i replied
"right then! Gogoat!" then he releases his last pokemon...
Gogoat!
his best Pokemon and friend!
"let's end this yeh whippersnapper!" he yelled
"when is he gonna stop saying that?" Lucario added
"i don't think he will" i replied smiling
"Gogoat! use bulk up!" then Gogoat stomps his front hoof and roared!
Alex is getting tired and weekend by the poison, but he has not paralyzed anymore.
"now! use horn leech!"
oh no! it is his signature attack!
Gogoat starts to run towards Alex with his horn enlarged and glows in green! this is not good!
"Alex, protect!" then he made a screen again, it blocked the attack! but he is still ramming his shield and... he is being leeched?! how is this possible?!
he can't keep it up!
"Alex, blast him away with psycho cut" then he made the shield disappear and quickly launch a fader spycho cut! it hits the head of Gogoat and a very strong wind impact backed him away far!
he skid through the ground as he kept standing. now he is further away!
"Alex u-" i cut off as he is charging something on his chest... his horn on his chest is glowing? wait! is this a new move?!
"what is that sprout doing?" Ramos yelled, Gogoat stands there and looks in horror...
is he...
then Alex fires a Gigantic dark beam towards Gogoat! the beam made the area brighter! it hit's the Gogoat and made a big explosion!
flying leaves hits my body, a huge smoke was bursting, and a shock wave that shook the tree!
i covered my face as the leaves are hitting me lightly.
after it seems to end, i lowered my arm and see Lucario covered by leaves, i turned to see Alex kneeling, panting...
i see that the roof that the leaves covered are mostly gone, there is now a sun striking down, light! and Gogoat in a destroyed arena...
FAINTED!
"did yeh use a new move sprout?!" Ramos said as he was getting up without his hat
"Alex... did you just learn..."
looks at me and smiles with his pale and purple face...
then he dropped to the ground!
"Alex!" i screamed

were walking our way back to Lumiose city, we just left the pokemon center at Coumarine city that healed Alex, we also got the badge. he is fully healed and now eating a sitrus berry happily. were are walking in the street with the sea in view...
i can't believe that Alex just learned 'Hyper Beam'
"that move is very powerful!"Lucario cheered
"thanks," Alex said with his mouth full
"But... how is that possible, i haven't given you any training module?" i said to Alex, still confused
"well, i don't know. it just came out" he replied
"huh... wait! what move did you forget!" i added
"i think... it's psychic"
"oh... well at least it's not your core move"
"yeah"
"i guess that means we need a new code huh?"
"yes" he said as he takes another bite at the berry
"when do i battle then?" Lucario joined
"I'm... not sure, i mean you are more powerful than we expected... in fact, abnormal" i said to him
"really?"
"yeah, even i am scared" Alex said as he bites the berry again
"really? there has to be someone more powerful than me right?" Lucario added
"well... maybe?" i added
"who is it?"
"well... Arceus of course" then i giggled a bit
"Arceus? i can beat him!" he blurted
"i don't think you have known him yet..." i said as i sweat
"huh?"
"Arceus is the creator of all things, which is why he is worshipped and powerful, he even created this world!"
"really? he even created me?"
"yup!"
then i talk to Lucario about the almighty Arceus for a while with Alex while we're walking our way back home...
"Hey..."
"yeah?"
"I'm sorry..."
"why?"
"you shouldn't have been hurt like that..."

"really? this is not the first time i did! you are almost sent away that time!"
