Roy still couldn't find any clues from the students' statement. All have an alibi and witnesses, even Paris West and Jenny Morgan have witnesses to prove that they're with them.
Paris West was said to be drunk at the kitchen having fun drinking all night, and was seen vomitting in the garden. While Jenny Morgan was at the garden, but later on went inside to drink, there are people who saw that it was true since she do have a reputation at school, as Timothy Green's ex.
Though the time wasn't trusted so their alibis are still unacceptable and they are still listed as possible suspects, no one can tell what time it was since they didn't really cared, having fun not minding about a thing or who's being killed at the moment but Timothy Green's time of death, that was known due to Autopsy.
Around 2:47 a.m., and his body was found by the boy's girlfriend at around 3:17 a.m. based on the students who posted the scene, though the posts are taken down immediately, Roy took a screenshot for evidence.
At the crime scene, Roy noticed the windows are open, no finger prints other than Hailey's house caretaker. The bathroom is clean too, no sign of left hair strands or even blood other than Timothy's.
The murderer knows how to clean their selves making it hard for Roy to look for clues.
Outside the house, the bush under the room where Timothy Green was–was flattened, meaning someone probably threw a bag or container there, to cushion it's fall. Timothy's heart and eyes are probably inside the container. And was took when the commotion is happening inside. Or even after the commotion, the bush' location is pretty much hidden. But other than that here are no other clues left.
This frustrated Roy more and so he gathered some more clues from the previous murder trying to connect them.
At school, a brief tribute was given for Timothy's death. Though the other students were only forced to attend.
"Would you three mind speaking in behalf for Timothy Green's death?" The Principal asked Merida, Bryan and Nathan.
"I'm sorry but I'll have to decline." Nathan said and walked to the bleachers to sit but before that he tapped Merida's shoulder making her look at him.
"Then will you two do it?" The Principal ask the two, Merida nodded silently while Bryan glance at her.
The ceremony started with the usual. A prayer.
"We are all here today to pay respect for Timothy Green's death. We all hope he'll have peace and quiet to where he will be going." The Principal said knowing that Timothy really did some bad things before he met Merida.
"Therefore, we'll have Merida Allen and Bryan Ward to say a few words of respect to Timothy Green's death." He said leaving the podium for Bryan.
"Timothy Green is a pal I've been with since we were kids, been doing mischievous things side by side, and took our youth for granted. So it was really a pity for him to go this early." Bryan was silent for a moment just staring at his hands which are placed on the podium before he left the stage.
After that, Merida went and walked to the podium still have that depressing look in her eyes and was avoiding everyone's gaze.
"I know Timothy wasn't that great. He did bad things, but he really did changed and I'm so proud of him for that. So whoever did that mortifying thing to him... I just hope they admit their selves and go to jail... because... Nothing can ever get him back to me anymore so... please... just admit..." Merida can't help herself but cry in front.
All was silent, pitying Merida for what happened, but still can't seem to forgive what Timothy have done before.
The students were asked to proceed to their classes and Merida took a rest by the stage's staircase for a while, just staring at nothing when Nathan stood in front of her.
She looked up at him with tired eyes.
"Are you alright?" He asked her which she gave a forced smile.
'Of course not.' Nathan thought hitting himself mentally for asking such a dumb question.
"Never mind what I ask, just rely on me... I'll be with you when you need me." He said embracing Merida and so she cried on his shoulders once again.
But little did they know, they have two pair of eyes watching them.
Bryan Ward who have a glare at the two from the side. And Justin who regrets that he wasn't the one by Merida's side.
The school resumed normally but Merida can't focus. Too sad to even listen.
"Ms. Allen." The teacher called before leaving.
"You can take a rest if you want, so please rest." He said when she approached him.
"I'm fine Sir, thank you for your concern." Merida forced a smile at him.
Jenny Morgan just glared at the woman talking to the teacher.
Later at lunch, Bryan went to Merida and Nathan's room. He's in his senior year while the two are at their junior year, that is why he was separated from them.
"Tim's parents are inviting us to go to their house later after school... It'll be disrespectful to decline so, I'll see you two there later. Merida probably knows the place." Bryan said and gone almost immediately.
And so after school, the three went to the Green's crib.
"I'm sorry for your lost Mr. and Mrs. Green." Merida said looking down at the tea the woman gave her.
"I would like to say the same to you, to the three of you... he might not be the best but he did try to change, with the help of you Merida." Mrs. Green said with a sad smile.
"You three can visit us anytime you want, we can even play some games too." Mr. Green said trying to lift up the mood.
Though it was pretty weird to even try.
But Bryan went along with it, "You suck though, Tim said..."
"I know." Mr. Green chuckled, but it was empty.
There was nothing to laugh at anyways.
"We'll be going now then Mr. and Mrs. Green, Merida needs some rest and I think all of us do." Nathan said standing up.
"Thank you for your hospitality." He said, took Merida's hand and left the place.
Bryan stayed and just watched them both go.
Not even liking one bit of it.
Nathan don't know what to feel about any of this.
He don't know if he should feel sad as his friend is gone and Merida is depressed about it.
Or relieved that he could finally have a chance to be with her again.
He thought as he glanced at Merida while they walk back home quietly.
Not even saying a word and was caught up in their own thoughts.
