Majestic creatures

Kyozu was sitting crossed legs on a sunning stone gladly taking in the sunshine

A noise jolted him from his meditation and Kyozu scanned the area a feral cat had knocked over a potted plant from a window sill and was just sitting there cleaning itself, Kyozu just smiled and went back to meditating.

A few moments later he heard birds chirping and singing, breaking his concentration again.

Looks like I'm not meditating today he said to himself. Kyozu went to the center of the village and started to patrol the area the birds screeching got louder as he walked towards the south side of the village, a black bird fell to his feet, Kyozu stopped in his tracks and stared at the bird on the ground as it was writhing in pain, the bird suddenly stopped moving, and the blackness started to separate from the bird revealing only bones, Kyozu jumped back and yelled for a wizard to burn the blackness wriggling on the ground.

A youth wizard appeared and tried to burn the darkness but shot a fireball instead, as the fireball hit the darkness it jumped into the air and landed on the youth wizards foot , and the youth started to scream as the darkness seeped into his scaley skin. Kyozu looked into the youth's eyes as he said, be still young one and lopped off his leg and kicked it near a fire pit off to Kyozu's left side, a wizard hearing the screaming from the youth ran to Kyozu and shot a fireball at Kyozu who gracefully dodged it , the wizard was about to shoot again as Kyozu yelled that the darkness had gotten on the youth's leg, the wizard stopped and looked for the leg , and Kyozu pointed to it then the wizard used his fire spell and started to incinerate the appendage .

After all of the darkness was destroyed the wizard started to tend to the youth, why did you use the spell on me Kyozu asked the wizard,

his reply was this is crazy times and I thought you were attacking the young one .

The wizard apologized for his actions and took the young one to the wizard school to be healed.

Crazy times indeed Kyozu thought looking in the sky for any signs of another infected bird.

Kyozu then ran around the village yelling for everyone to stay inside and to be weary about the birds that they could be infected.

Do not approach any and stay inside for now.

As Angry face, Ben,Ren and the rest of the party left to go back to Angry faces village , a powerful wind started to blow in , it was now a constant wind ot was the wind from powerful wings beating down on the village. The group felt the wind and turned towards the source , they were almost out of the village and on the other side of the wall protecting the village, they stood staring at the sight of a Dragon, it was black as midnight and had red eyes. Its scales looked like they were wavy like a distortion was happening all over it's body it landed next to the well where they destroyed the darkness and they could hear it ask if anything was still alive, no answer came from the well and the dragon screamed in rage.

The group watched the beast for a few moments as it screamed into the air. The noise from the beast made everyone hold their ears as it was deafening.

After it threw a tantrum destroying homes and the well the beast looked tired it started to close its eyes and yawn, the beast then grabbed a large scale on its stomach and pulled out a chest of gold and poured the gold on the ground, tossing the chest to the side it laid down and started to snore loudly, the group was holding their breath and didn't realize it until it was asleep,. Then Angry face had an idea he said we can kill the beast and then take the gold that he was sleeping on, Ben said look it is infected with the darkness, the gold is probably infected too.

A little fire spell should clear that up as , Ben looked at Angry face and saw the greed in his eyes , no way of stopping him we might as well help him, Ben said to Ren in his head.

But that beast is enormous how are we supposed to kill something that big Ren said back to Ben.

Ben said aloud it's sleeping right now, we need something to capture then kill it with.

Ben thought to himself what about those nets I saw earlier on the far side of the village, maybe if they were fire proof I don't even know if it shoots fire maybe frost or even bile from its stomach, we have a few nets of our own.

But I don't think that would be enough to make it stay on the ground, Ben said as he looked at the beast, it had fallen asleep between two stone buildings that it had destroyed in his tantrum.

Ben told the group to gather up all nets on the far side of the village and bring them back.

After about twenty minutes later they returned with 15 nets about twenty feet long and adding what they still had they had about 22 all together

They had to do this quickly if they disturbed the beast, they won't get a second chance .

Ben grabbed a few nets and gently placed it from one side of a building and threw it across to the other building to Ren, who then tied it to a big rock, Ben tied his to a nearby tree, going back and forth Ben and Ren had tied all the nets to various rocks and trees, Ben was also picking up rocks and placing them gently on the nets Angry face was grabbing giant rocks as well and placing them on the net as well.

After a couple of hours, the beast stirred a little

Ben had grabbed a piece of the net near the tail of the dragon and gave Ren a nod , Angry face grabbed Ben's sword and got on top of a nearby building, Ben was watching the scales of the dragon and noticed that in slumber the scales were not distorted just normal scales, Ren was ready to ram a wall next to the beast and knock it on it so it couldn't get away, then a low growl came out of the dragons mouth as it started to move around Angry face put on a pair of gloves that one of his wizards had given him saying it had a fireproof charm embedded in it.

All was ready as Ren ran full force into the wall knocking all the debris onto the dragon, as the rocks hit the dragon its red eyes opened up it screamed so loud that it almost busted its attackers eardrums, as the net started to move Ben held it down as much as he could, the plan is working with the nets held across the dragons body and the added pressure of the rocks it was held firmly to the ground, and Ben not giving an inch ot was working.

Angry face then jumped towards the head of the dragon to give it a death blow, the dragon laughed as it shot a fireball towards Angry face Angry face could not dodge the fire and brought the sword down to deflect the fireball, burning the net the fireball must have been going a hundred miles an hour plus , Angry face felt the heat and then the burning on his arms and then he heard the sword breaking as it cut the fireball in half, after the initial hit of sword vs fireball Angry face was thrown backwards and landed in a cart of rotten fish, embers of the places that the fireball had passed through the net had now caught on fire, the dragon then grabbed the net and started to bring it to his mouth to burn it.

Ren started to panic and started to throw rocks and carts and whatever he could find.

Ben realizing that he was in danger started to back away and look for a place to hide.

The dragon had his sights set on Ren the group was gone as soon as the dragon burned the netting they were gone.

Ren was throwing everything he could but the beast was still coming after him, help me Ben Ren said in his head, help.

Ben got his composure back and looked at the clouds and said help me god .

Then the clouds started to gather quickly and a lightning bolt hit the dragon it screamed in pain, Ben said a bolt of lightning coming towards him he lifted his hand in the air and absorbed the lightning then shot it at the dragon. Writhing in pain it fell to the ground, it was knocked out.

Ren was laying on the ground as Ben was gathering the lightning the dragon had slashed Ren in the chest, Ren was bleeding badly from the wound and Ben had grabbed him and started to cry no one heard him crying.

Ben yelled for Angry face but there was no answer. Ben yelled for the wizards but they were gone, he tried to stop the bleeding, he ripped off his shirt and held it to Ren's chest, Ren opened his eyes and said I love you brother , as Ren's eyes closed Ben screamed no , and that was what Ren heard last.
