The High Orc became a train hurtling towards Leon quickly.

Leon however kept his cool and thought back to the monument.

'I fought those four giant animals. I am no longer the same person, as I was back then. I am stronger and more importantly, I have Ensis now.'

Channeling all his strength and focus onto the sword he held tightly with both his hands and the charging High Orc that steamed towards him. Leon took a normal sword stance and steeled himself for his opponent.

As the High Orc had almost run towards his prey, suddenly an unknown feeling swept over it. In the back of his mind, the instincts that had guided him his whole life suddenly screamed in danger. While he slowly closed the distance, his eyes spotted what was giving the aura off, the semi-translucent silver sword that his prey held gave off a powerful aura. However the High Orc's hesitation only lasted a second, it simply would not back off against someone that was much weaker than himself.

Leon knew he could stand no chance by himself, in fact, normally he most likely would have died by the first blow of the creature rampaging towards him. However, previously Ensis and Leon discussed a plan for when facing a strong monster they could not defeat, Leon had one chance to execute it. As the High Orc made his way across the huge floor, Leon kept replaying his desired outcome in his hand and it soon became like a background video to all his thoughts at the time.

Just as the High Orc came just outside a couple of meters, its prey started to change its stance. Leon let go of one hand and whispered something so quietly, the High Orc did not hear it with its heightened senses. It merely saw its entertainment switch to one hand and disregarded the action, since in the High Orc's mind Leon was dead regardless.

-20 Mana...

As the High Orc started its initial motion to kill the human, a surprised look spread across its face as the prey actually attacked first. Leon had Ensis in his right hand and sliced diagonally at the Orc, although Leon's power was simply empty air in front of the High Orc. Ensis itself exuded a dangerous aura and the sword was a world-class item, after all, this made the High Orc instinctively block with both his axes. The High Orc had lived for dozens of years and knew his instincts were quite reliable, also his opponent only had one weapon and it felt obliged to block it.

Ensis could normally beat the two-weapon defense that the High Orc put out, however, Leon was simply too weak compared to it even with his continuous improvements. The fluidity of Leon's slash was like an experienced farmer using their scythe-like it was an extension of their body. Ensis calmly sliced the air in front of the High Orc, until it collided with the two axes. A hair's size of a dent appeared on both the axes that had blocked Ensis, but it did not go past that. Seeing the lack of power behind the blow, the High Orc felt more confident even if the blade in front of him felt dangerous. Smiling the High Orc laughed.

From any other person in the room, it looked like Leon had sealed his own fate. However, all these facts that made Leon look like he was already dead were actually all apart of the plan. Before all the momentum was stopped from the failed slash, Leon swung his fist with a speed of a jab from a pro boxer at the High Orc even though he was out of range by at least four more steps.

The High Orc saw the desperate fist and did not mind it. However, as he prepared to kill the human in front of it, a decent-sized cut that had a flow of green blood appeared on its left pec, where his beating heart was located. The cut had actually dug quite deep into the High Orc's muscle and made it about twenty percent through. Although the damage was not major, Leon roared with satisfaction.

....for Skill: Wind Blade Lvl 1.

The High Orc was shocked, what had just happened. He had blocked the humans dangerous sword and the desperate punch thrown with his tiny left hand missed him by a lot. The High Orc for the first time backed off a couple of meters, although the attack did not pose much of a threat for him. The surprise had shaken the High Orc for a little bit, it finally found a clue to its wound.

Leon's left hand still was clenched like a fist at a slight glace. However, when the High Orc focused on the hand, he could easily see a faint outline of moving air like a wind. The more he saw, he realized the wind took the exact same form as Ensis in his other hand.

Smiling at the wound he left on the High Orc, Leon celebrated in his mind.

'Well, would you look at that. My hidden trump card managed to cause a wound on the High Orc.'

Even though many favorable factors had led the plan towards its slight success, Leon was satisfied with his performance.

Seeing his own blood, the High Orc finally decided it would not entertain itself and his eyes narrowed as he starting to take the fight seriously. However his instincts resurfaced, he could feel an extremely dangerous, high energy source at the back of the room in front of him.

Of course, the High Orc was referring to Emilia, who used Leon's almost half a minute distraction to the fullest, energy gathered to her sword and emitted a blinding light. Her entire rapier shown brightly like the light given off by the sun but turned silver. It slowly got brighter as time went on, the High Orc did not hesitate in trying to kill the danger at its source. It dashed instantly towards the human girl and it closed meters in one step. However Leon would not let the monster do what it wanted, he already predicted this would happen with Ensis's help and used his only attribute that somewhat matched the beast, his agility. He stood in front of the High Orc's path and held up both his hands, not even trying to hide his hidden blade anymore. This time however things were different, using all its sculpted muscles. The axe swung down like a meteor and the wind blade broke instantly, leaving Ensis as the only thing left between Leon's skull and the axe.

However the difference in strength and power was too immense, Ensis merely slowed down the time it would take for the axe to reach Leon. However four figures came dashing in from various parts of Leon's peripheral vision, it was all the recovered adventurers!
