Leon's Bloodline Awakening

Leon waited for something to take place, but nothing happened after a few minutes.

Meanwhile, Radiant Light looked genuinely surprised.

"It seems like I need to put more in."

This time Radiant Light released waves of fog and when it started to gather, Leon could only estimate that it was over ten times the amount that he used to awaken Aurora's.

The waves of fog entered Leon's body, but this time he felt something change. It started off as a small tingle or itch in his heart, but slowly the tingle started to burn like his blood had started to boil.

This boiling feeling started to spread everywhere into his body and soon Leon felt an almost primal feeling that suddenly started to awaken from the boiling of his blood.

Although, Leon couldn't see what was happening since his eyes were closed.

A fog-like aura erupted from Leon's body like a volcano ever since his blood started to boil, but it wasn't stopping and already looked like a tsunami waiting to strike.

Radiant Light looked at this wave-like aura as if he had seen a ghost and started to roar. His light-like aura started to spread everywhere as well, at a much more impressive rate than he had shown before.

Even though Aurora was well into the distance behind a huge boulder with two objects to protect her. She could feel the sheer power that Radiant Light was releasing due to her bloodline reacting with the amount of similar power.

At this point, Radiant Light's aura had already taken the shape of a White Wolf, but the size was over twice the size he had shown previously to intimidate Aurora's wolf.

Normally he would wait until the aura had taken shape, but he felt an almost primal instinct coming from his wolf that said to start attacking the aura or else he might truly die.

Giving in to his instinct, the White Wolf charged at Leon's red and golden aura that still refused to take shape.

Suddenly, Leon opened his eyes and his monstrous, dense amounts of aura started to take shape.

Using the dark, blood-like red aura to form, a giant bear, the size of a two-story building, took shape. Unlike Aurora's bloodline animal, the bear had great details and features as horns appeared on the top of his head.

Radiant Light tried to see its face, but its head had a skeletal, bone material that made it seem like a mask, but it wasn't.

As its face fully formed, the rest of its body started becoming life-like, many details started to emerge. Its body started to bulge with huge muscles as spikes sprouted from where its spine was.

After everything had formed for the horrific bear, giant symbols, that neither Radiant Light nor Leon could recognize, appeared on the bear, and a black fire coated the bear-like armor.

(Authors note: The bear looks similar to the thousand pierced Volibear skin from the video game League of Legends.)

However, the bear wasn't the only thing that formed, as the sunlight-like aura started to swirl. Out of the tornado-like force, a giant eagle started to take shape, but its body was entirely made up of light and an orange lightning field.

The small bird suddenly started to get bigger until it was a similar size to the bear and it shrieked. It could no longer be called an eagle, but something that resembled the mythic Roc.

The two huge mythic creatures looked at each other and both started to roar and shriek.

Radiant Light's wolf had already stopped charging and returned closer to its owner. Meanwhile Radiang Light couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"What in the spirits are those?"

The bloodline animals that Leon possessed were terrifying and this was from just the awakening. Usually, the awakening of a bloodline would reflect the power, purity, and potential of a bloodline, similar to a bloodline stone.

The size, detail, and power of the animal would give a rough estimate of those things, but Leon's had to be the most terrifying and awe-inspiring one Radiant Light had seen through the hundreds or perhaps thousands of awakenings he had performed and seen.

In fact, the elder could only think that the only person who might have gotten close to this sort of power would have been the first few elders of his tribe, but even his awakening was not as terrifying.

The two huge animals stared at each other, but after a few moments, they only roared at each other until they scanned their environments and landed on Radiant Light and his bloodline beast.

Seeing the two stare at him, the elder knew exactly what was about to happen and started to roar.

"It seems I must ignite my bloodline!"

If his son or any of the other elders were present, they would have surely fainted or suffered a heart attack at the sight of Radiant Light igniting his bloodline.

They had only ever seen the old man use it a few times and every time it was against powerful foes like the champions of the coalition or even the previous king of Silce.

However, if they were to learn that he was using it just so he could successfully complete a blood awakening. No one would believe them and they would simply be laughed out of the room

After he ignited his bloodline, everything about Radiant Light started to exponentially increase in strength. His muscles stretched against the fabric of his clothes, but his bloodline beast suddenly grew much larger.

The White Wolf suddenly looked more life-like and with Radiant Light pushing his bloodline. It grew even bigger than the two mythic animals that occupied Leon's bloodline. Its features even increased as Leon could see its large fangs that could easily crush a human being.

The White Wolf roared so loud that every animal and monster within a three-mile vicinity suddenly stayed clear of where the wolf originated from.

Normally such a display of strength and power would intimidate any bloodline beast that appeared during an awakening, but Leon's wasn't just any beast.

His two beasts roared and started to charge the wolf, in response Radiant Light's wolf started to charge towards its two foes as well.

The ground started to shake from such a thing since Radiant Light's bloodline beast had started to become more physical than just aura ever since he ignited his bloodline.

Just before it reached the bear and roc, the wolf quickly released a wave of light that was so blinding, Leon couldn't bear to look. When he looked back, he saw the bear being pushed back by the light that took the shape of a ring and started to push back against the bear.

Meanwhile, the Roc seemed to be minimally affected by the light, seemingly due to the fact that one of its elements was also light.

However, it seemed like the wolf had already known this and it bared its jaws towards the roc, but right as the wolf was about to chomp down on the neck of the Roc.

The bird flapped its wing with fierce power that it suddenly dodged, but it couldn't completely avoid the bite as a portion of its leg got caught and damaged.

The Roc retreated backward but fired a bolt of lighting at the wolf which injured it slightly and made its hair stick up. The bear suddenly broke the ring of light that was restricting it and joined back with the bird.

The two beasts stared at the wolf and roared, but weren't just done yet.
