Crushing Fang's Partial Transformation

Using a predetermined signal, Crushing Fang took a spear off one of the unconscious guards and threw it on the ground a few meters in front of the nearest guard.

The spear made hit the ground with a clang and the nearest guard at the front door who had dozed up jumped up suddenly and looked at the spear.

As he walked towards the spear, he realized it was from one of the guards and started laughing.

"Very funny guys. Who threw the spear this time? I was having a good dream!"

He waited for an answer but didn't receive one so he started to look more suspiciously as he squinted towards the dark walls.

"Hello? Hey, I think we might have to check out the guards on the wall."

But once again to his surprise, his fellow guards who were standing all around the building didn't say anything and he sighed.

"Are you guys also in on the prank?"

He turned around, but the moment he turned his eyes went wide with shock as he saw dozens of guards knocked unconscious.

The moment he opened his mouth to yell that there was an attack a hand clasped around his mouth and he was hit in the neck, while he fell down unconscious.

With all the guards on the wall and outside of the building knocked out, the squad didn't have to hide in the shadows and they all regrouped in front of the front door.

Crushing Fang looked at the soldiers around him and talked quietly.

"We all know what the plan is, correct?"

Everyone nodded, including Leon who stood closely next to Sophia and Aurora.

Hearing everyone was ready, Crushing Fang walked up to the giant metal front door that looked more like a vault and examined it carefully.

Like he was told, there was a formation on the door that acted as the "lock" but was opened through a specific magic signature rather than the traditional lock and key.

This meant that even though the squad had effectively taken out the guards outside the building quietly and easily. The guards did not possess a key so the only option left was to guess the magic signature or pry the front door open.

Usually, most people would opt for the former as the door was made of some of the toughest metals that most knights would find hard to even dent.

This and the magic which also helped reinforced it made it virtually impossible for anyone under A-Tier to even think about forcefully opening it.

With that deterrent, no one really dared to ever try to enter forcefully as in Silce there were barely a few people that held equivalent power to an A-Tier adventurer. Even then, most of these people were at the lowest of A-Tier and would find it hard to open the front door.

Luckily for the squad, the person attempting to open the front door wasn't any regular person, but Crushing Fang.

Speaking normally, Crushing Fang gestured for everyone to back up since there was no point in trying to hide their presence as breaking through the front door would alert everyone inside.

"Stand back in case things get a little too messy."

Crushing Fang stretched his neck which creaked and clenched his giant hands into fists before he started unloading a barrage of punches at the door.

The punches sounded like someone had used a battering ram against the front door as each hit would tremble the ground slightly and Leon could feel the air being blasted backward.

Although Leon couldn't hear much due to the noises caused by Crushing Fang, he thought he heard a commotion on the inside.

After a dozen more punches, a few dents were visible but no major damage was shown and Crushing Fang took out his double-sided axe and smiled.

"Not bad! Not bad at all."

Suddenly a light surrounded his axe blade and looked like a flame that had erupted from his axe, Leon recognized it as the attack that Crushing Fang had used to easily kill the Superior Black Flame Croc.

With sweat beads starting to appear on his forehead, Crushing Fang swung the axe at the front door and a loud thump was heard while the building itself seemed to tremble.

Retracting his weapon Crushing Fang inspected the damage to the door and was pleasantly surprised to see that the axe had gone through about six inches of the door, but still hadn't penetrated through the entire door.

Meanwhile, Leon and the other warriors were shocked. That previous strike had been on par with the one he used to easily kill the Superior Black Flame Crock, which was at the bottom of A-Tier.

Yet the strike didn't even fully cut through the door, let alone make a hole, big enough for the squad.

This time Crushing Fang looked slightly annoyed and snorted, while he stowed his axe away and his right arm started to bulge.

Soon a strong and familiar aura started to emit from Crushing Fang and Leon's own bloodlines seemed to have woken up from their endless slumber at the aura.

Leon looked at Crushing Fang and asked Little Lightning who was standing nearby.

"What's happening with Crushing Fang?"

Little Lightning's own bloodline was also reacting as his heart started to beat faster and responded.

"He's using one of his bloodline abilities. Although I can't be sure which one, it's most likely a partial transformation?"

Raising an eyebrow in confusion, Little Lightning tried to explain.

"A partial transformation is something that most bloodlines offer and allows the user to transform a specific part into their bloodline animal. For example, if I achieved a high level with my bloodline. I could summon wings on my back and fly, but almost no one else in the tribes has progressed far enough to do such things besides the twelve elders of the major clans and Crushing Fang."

After a few seconds, Crushing Fang's right arm started to completely morph as it enlargened with muscles, and white and yellow fur started to sprout until it stopped and revealed his current right arm.

It looked like a wolf's arm and claw, but slightly different as it still had relatively the same anatomy as a human hand but with animalistic features.

Leon could since his bloodlines take a peek at Crushing Fang, but snort then retreat back into their slumber.

Suddenly Crushing Fang roared and punched at the cut he made into the door with his right arm.

Leon didn't know what to expect, but he definitely didn't expect what happened next.

The force of the punch was so great that it instantly broke through the door, but it didn't stop there as the door itself seemed to suffer a catastrophic failure in its integrity as it broke off at the hinges and started hurtling through the air.

Just like that, a door that hadn't been close to breaking in decades was instantly blown away.
