Jailbreak in Silce

With a loud screech, the crumpled door slid across the floor until it struck the wall and left a big dent.

The squad grouped up and looked down the hall. Leon was tall enough that he could see over most of the warriors and took a good look at the prison.

The prison was shaped into a giant box-shaped building with the frontal portion as a front desk with bars and a small gate to act as a barrier.

Past the gate, a small space was there to act as an airlock in case someone tried to escape from the interior part of the building and another steel door was used to complete the airlock.

Past the airlock was a giant room with a bunch of cells that were built in for three complete stories with dozens of people occupying one of the hundreds of cells.

When the squad stepped into the front desk area of the prison, Leon could see a commotion where it looked like all the guards who were standing in the front portion had gone through the airlock while sealing off the two doors that stood between the invaders and the main part of the prison.

Normally this would be quite effective to stop invaders, but it only took Crushing Fang two punches with his transformed arm to break through both doors.

The group entered the main part of the prison and a small army of guards was already in formation with their swords pointed towards the warriors.

Leon expected the guards to be shivering, but somehow their resolve and willpower remained intact despite the jaw-dropping power that Crushing Fang showed.

Seeing their opponents still full of fighting spirit, all the warriors took out their weapons as the stare-off continued.

The formation of soldiers suddenly moved aside as a man equipped with a full set of armor that covered his entire body walked down with an entourage full of soldiers that had similar armors on.

The person at the front unsheathed his long sword and pointed it towards Crushing Fang who was standing at the front of the group with his axe resting on his shoulder.

"Turn back at once intruders! Do you know who's jail you are breaking into!?!"

Crushing Fang smiled devilishly.

"That fraud, what was his name again? Frank? No... ah, Juvenile! Wait, that isn't right. Eh, let's just call him a snake."

Leon stared at the knight, but the only thing that he could see was the man's eyes through the slit in his helmet as everything else was covered.

But just from his eyes, Leon could see them twitching with anger while the rest of his body seemed like he was about to implode from anger.

"Insulting my liege? You want to die a fool then! Be honored to die by the hands of his honorable knight."

From the man's words, Leon thought about Arulo and frowned.

'If he's a knight like Arulo, is he also around the top echelon of B-Tier?'

Then he smiled as he thought about Crushing Fang's power.

'Well that won't matter too much will it?'

Crushing Fang yawned loudly.

"Booorrring, come on already. Let's get this over with."

The knight trembled with anger and charged at Crushing Fang with his sword drawn and suddenly the sword grew blue as it elongated.

The blade became three times the length as the knight arced it horizontally at Crushing Fang who stood still.

Under the helmet, the knight smiled and thought to himself.

'Hah, what a fool. Does he really think he can take my mana sword with his muscles?'

Just as the blade neared Crushing Fang, the muscular man suddenly crouched which made the blade hit the air.

Seeing the unexpected fast movements from the large man, the knight tried to forcefully stop his momentum from traveling forward and jump backward to create distance.

Unfortunately, the moment he got too close to Crushing Fang. His feat was sealed.

Crushing Fang grabbed the knight by his helmet with his huge hands that easily covered the man's face like a regular person holding a baseball.

The knight tried to free himself by stabbing Crushing Fang's hand with his sword, but Crushing Fang used his other hand to knock the sword away with his axe while he spoke loudly for everyone to hear.

"Just because you are a knight with a pin-drop of power does not mean you get a pass to do whatever you want. You imprisoned and executed your own citizens? Die."

Crushing Fang slowly applied more pressure from his hand until the knight's helmet started to slowly crumple and cave in.

Then with one last spurt, the entire helmet became crushed like someone had stepped onto an aluminum can. Blood flowed down like someone had accidentally poured a bucket onto the floor while the body flopped down to the ground with a tiny splash as it landed in its own blood.

Crushing Fang looked at the remaining guards who weren't calm and started to tremble as they were previously confident in the knight. Seeing the trembling knights, Crushing Fang turned to face them with blood staining his face.

"Unlike you savages, I'll spare your lives if you drop your weapons and lie down with your hands on your back."

Most of the guards immediately threw down their various standard-issued swords and spears, while a few remained hesitant.

One particular person who hadn't throw down his sword looked hesitant.

"Won't the king kill us if we surrender?"

Suddenly one of his fellow guards hushed the man while dragging him towards the floor.

"Shhh! Who cares if he might kill us later. If you don't surrender that barbarian will just slaughter you! Did you see knight Benedict dying easily? He was one of the weaker knights, but he was still a knight!"

When his fellow guard explained it to him, the man thought about it then turned pale as he dropped to the ground like a dead man with his weapon clattering on the floor.

Crushing Fang signaled for the warriors to tie the guards up and then he asked one of the guards how to open the cells. The guard promptly explained that there should be something on the dead knight that manages all the cells.

Crushing Fang frisked the body until he found a crystal in his body and channeled some mana, while imagining the cells on the first floor opening.

A slow creak was heard as the magic barriers on the cells were lifted and the cell doors slowly opened all across the first floor.
