Justin Morgan ; Another Rival?!

Mark was currently walking home alone. He groaned inwardly when he noticed that he ended up taking the wrong street and he somehow ended up in front of Alice's house. "Oh Alice, I'm turning into an idiot because of you," he sighed in disbelief.

"We're here," Grant said as he opened the door of the car. Alice stepped out of the car and she looked at Grant's house in awe.

"This is a mansion," she gasped. There were huge double doors and around her was a huge garden.

"Let's go in shall we?" Grant asked as the doors were opened for them.

When they got in a bunch of maids and a butler greeted them. "This place is heaven," Alice thought as her eyes sparkled upon observing the house. "This is the biggest house I've ever been to," Alice said.

"Want a tour?" Grant asked and Alice nodded enthusiastically.

As they walked around the house, Alice kept gasping since the house was indeed huge and nice. The house is perfect, a huge garden, a swimming pool, a study, a movie room, an entertainment room, a huge dining hall, and even the guest rooms were perfect!

"This is your room," they stopped at the guest room.

"Are you serious? This is just a guest room? But it's better than my own room!" Alice exclaimed.

"Mom and dad had this room prepared for you, all of your stuff is fixed as well. Just go and make yourself at home," Grant mentioned.

"Tell them that I said thank you and this is awesome!" Alice said as she dived onto the soft bed.

"You're too happy," Grant chuckled.

"Who wouldn't be? I'm a complete stranger yet I'm being treated like your sister," Alice lilted as she hugged the soft bolster on her bed.

"You are not a stranger, you're my childhood friend remember?" Grant said as he ruffled Alice's hair.

"Sir Grant, dinner is ready and I also want to inform you that the bath is ready," the butler said as he stepped in the room.

"Ba-bath for two?!" Alice shrieked.

Grant flicked her forehead and he shook his head. "Idiot, of course they're separate. You have such a dirty mind Alice."

Alice grinned sheepishly as she slapped her forehead. "Sorry, I'll go down after I take a quick shower," she said and Grant left the room.

Alice took a quick shower, dressed up, and went to the living room. Once she arrived, she saw someone sitting on the sofa. There was a guy who looks older than Grant. Alice immediately looked away. "Sorry, I must be in the wrong room," she muttered.

"No, it's fine, have a seat. You must be the guest that Grant was talking about. You're Alice, right? I remember you," the guy motioned her to sit down.

"Uhm... excuse me but may I know who you are?" Alice shyly asked. Who wouldn't feel embarrassed? She's in front of a very handsome guy yet she's only wearing an oversized Garfield shirt and shorts.

"Oh me? I'm Justin Mendoza, Grant's older brother. You don't remember me at all?" he asked.

"H-hello Justin," Alice smiled awkwardly. "I can't remember you actually, sorry about that. May I ask why you're wearing formal clothes?" she pointed at him since he was wearing a tuxedo.

"I just got home from a photoshoot. I work as a model whenever I don't have classes," he answered. Alice's eyes widened, now that he mentioned it she has seen this guy before! He was on the cover of a teen magazine and he was the guy that visited during their Christmas party! He even winked at her during his performance!

How could she not notice?! This is Justin Mendoza, the twenty-year-old heartthrob, but since she's Alice she doesn't seem to care much that she's in front of a teen model. It also just came to her upon why Grant's family is so rich despite their parents having the same job.

"You were the guy during the Christmas party, you're really popular among my female classmates," she said as she scratched her head.

"I like people like you," he smiled at her.

"Eh? Why?" Alice asked.

"Because you don't get affected by the whole teen heartthrob thingy at all," he replied.

"Of course I don't, I'm not into those anyway. I honestly know more international idols rather than the locals. Sorry about that." She sighed. "But hey, Grant sure is lucky to have you as his brother, I wonder why he never told anyone?" she said aloud.

"Grant doesn't make a big deal out of it at all. He would hate it if someone were to compare the two of us, that's why he's such a delinquent," Justin narrated. "Anyway, you're cute."

"W-what?" Alice blushed.

"Does Grant like you? Are you two dating?" Justin asked.

"Hey Justin! Don't interrogate the guest!" Grant said as he went down the stairs.

"Call me big brother," Justin said.

"No way," Grant snorted.

"Why are you always so cold with me?!" Justin whined.

"Because you're noisy and childish," Grant retorted.

"You're always such a bratty little brother," Justin pouted.

Alice stared at the two. "Is Justin really the older brother?" she thought. "Masters and miss Alice, your dinner is ready," the butler called.

"Let's go to the dining room Alice," Justin said.

"Who said you're eating with us?" Grant scoffed.

"But I'm hungry and I have my rights," Justin snapped.

"Just don't be annoying,"

So the three ate dinner altogether. Alice was delighted with the food, it was beyond delicious! "You seem to be really enjoying your stay," Grant chuckled.

"I am," Alice grinned.

"I'll be taking a bath for a while," Justin said as he climbed up the stairs.

"You and your brother don't get along well," Alice pointed out since Grant just completely ignored Justin.

"We're just like that, I don't like him but he somehow wants us to be closer as brothers like when we were still younger," Grant shrugged.

"Why? What happened?" Alice asked.

"Ever since he became a model I just drifted away from him. He's basically a celebrity, being his brother isn't going to be easy. I'm a former delinquent, I studied at the public school so that people won't find out that he's my brother. That's also the reason why I'm causing too much trouble, heck I even began my own fraternity. Plus there's the fact that Justin earns thrice the salary of my parents," Grant scowled.

"You're way too insecure, be more confident about yourself. You're popular at school you know, and I think you are unaware that you're protecting Justin," Alice smiled.

"No way, but how about you? You're pretty popular at school too right?" Grant asked.

"I only got well known because of our fight, I feel like a bunch of people are expecting me to fight again," she laughed.

"Trust me, you really are popular. Some guys talk about you from time to time," Grant laughed. He smiled as he reminisced about the time when Alice treated him as an enemy because he was friends with Tiffany. Their fight seemed like ages ago because a bunch of things happened.

"By the way Grant, how come you're in such bad terms with James and his gang?" Alice asked.

"Well, you do know that they'd do anything to just beat me right? They just want to be better than me," he answered.

"But did it ever cross your mind that you should stop the fight and just let them join your frat again?" Alice asked.

"I no longer have a frat Alice, their gang is ranked first now I think," Grant explained. "But that doesn't mean that they'll stop, they won't stop unless they've personally defeated me. Don't forget the fact that they still have unfinished business with the both of us,"

"Well, we can just beat them if they ever show up again," Alice showed him a balled fist. "That Black Phantom gang is going down."

Grant ruffled her hair. "Yeah right, you should go to your room now. We still have classes tomorrow you know?" he smiled. Alice went to her room, she lied down on her bed and closed her eyes. She suddenly heard someone enter the room, she sat up and her drowsiness suddenly disappeared. It was Justin, he was only wearing jogging pants and he was currently rubbing a towel on his wet hair.

"W-why are you here?!" Alice stuttered.

"I was just checking on you. I thought Grant was up to something," Justin replied with a smile on his face.

"Put a shirt on and get out!" Alice threw him a pillow.

Justin chuckled as he sat on Alice's bed. "I can tell that Grant likes you," he said and Alice blushed.

"O-oh… he told me," she looked away from him. It was hard not to stare. As much as her friends tease her that she is not really a 'girl', it's only normal for her to get flustered upon seeing a shirtless guy. Not just an ordinary guy, this guy is a model for darn sakes! And what do models have? Perfect bodies.

"Grant can be a bit stubborn but he mentioned that a girl changed him for the better. I'm pretty sure it's you so take care of him okay?" he ruffled her hair. "Otherwise, I might make a move on you before he does," he chuckled before leaving.

"Why is he talking like that?! He talks as if Grant and I are dating," she said aloud.

The next morning Alice quickly got ready for school. Grant was already prepared when she got down, they had breakfast together then they left for school. "Justin, why are you here?" Grant exclaimed upon seeing Justin in his car. "You have your own driver,"

"My driver has vertigo, and I want to accompany Alice,"

"You are such a pain Justin," he groaned.

"Call me big brother,"

"NO!"

"Mean,"

Alice did her best to stifle her laughter. These two reminded her of Mark and Ivan. Minutes later, they arrived at their school. "Hey Alice," Mark was waiting outside for her. Alice quickly left the car to greet Mark.

"Hey Alice, you forgot your bag." Justin said as he stepped out the car.

"Who's he?" Justin and Mark asked in chorus.

"My brother, and this is Alice's friend," Grant interrupted. Alice took her bag and she smiled at everyone.

"Thanks Justin, and please tell the driver thanks for the ride," she said.

"Justin, you have to leave," Grant said.

"Why would I? You're being mean," Justin scoffed.

"I'm not being mean but you went here without a disguise," Grant said in a warning tone. As if on cue a bunch of students approached Justin. Grant grabbed Alice's arm and he pulled her away from the swarm of Justin's fangirls. Mark just followed them.

"Wait, he's the model dude right?! Your brother is a model?!" Mark exclaimed.

Grant hit him on the head. "You just realized that?" he scowled. "And don't mention it loudly, I'm trying to keep it a secret,"

"I feel sorry for Justin, he must've been squeezed there," Alice said as she sat on her chair. She ignored Grant and Mark who were already bickering because of the whole 'your-brother-is-a-model-issue'.

Tiffany suddenly went near her and she waved a notebook in front of her. "What the heck Tiffany," Alice grunted.

"Justin Mendoza was just at the gate, I got his autograph and I got a picture with him. Jealous?" she bragged. Alice resisted the urge to smile. "Sorry Alice, Justin would only be happy to give autographs to lovely ladies such as me,"

"Oh yeah, I'm so jealous. Too bad I didn't get to see him," Alice said as she pretended to look sad.

"Maybe next time Alice," Tiffany laughed as she went to her seat.

"What the heck was that? You could have just told her the real thing," Grant said.

"I don't want the others to find out that you're his brother, it's pressure for you right?" Alice smiled at him.

"You're just up to something," Grant chuckled.

After their classes, they had their lunchtime. Alice told the guys about Grant's house and she mentioned Justin as well, of course she made the guys promise to keep it a secret first.

"Oh by the way Justin said I was cute," Alice laughed. "Can you imagine that? A popular model just said I was cute! Oh gosh, what a boost in my self-confidence," she continued laughing as if it were a normal thing to say.

"Oh, not again," Mark facepalmed.
