*Huff*

My breath was running low and so was my stamina.
But, I had to keep going!
"Run run~ Little rat," the voice from my back says as she cackles maliciously.
A moment later, My ears puckered at the shift of atmosphere that surrounded me.
By instincts, I ducked right before my head received full damage.
At the corner of my eyes, I watch as the massive force hit the wall that wasn't too far from me.
The concrete cracked at the contact of the force.
'These people are insane!' I thought in panic as I ran in fear for my life.
I knew that she was following close behind me, so I had no time to stop for a break.
I began to pale as my steps become more and more sloppy, my legs were growing heavier and heavier as I continued to run. It was beginning to get painful as a burning sensation makes its way up from my feet to my thighs.
I could feel tears starting to form at the corner of my eyes as I began to fear for the worse.
'Damn! What if my legs give out?!' The mere thought made me sweat bullets.
I had no time to rest; I had to figure out how I can get out of this situation.
"Now, now little rat, you're barely holding up… My, my~ you're completely out of shape. Make it easier for yourself and just. TAKE. THE. BLOW!" just as I heard her saying that, the atmosphere around me shifted again and I instinctually dodged her blow.
I heard the walls crack again as it made landfall.
'She's expecting me to take that hit? Is she mad?!'
The adrenaline that flowed through every fiber of my being suddenly gave me the strength to run faster.
Though I was in pain, I pushed through and ignored it for now.
It angered me, pissed me off as I feel sets of eyes looking at my pathetic figure. I did not feel humiliated, I felt rather infuriated.
'What kind of twisted place is this?!' I screamed in my head.
