V1 chapter 23

I start to open my eyes when the sunlight hit's my face. I rub my eyes and yawning.

I glanced to my dad when he's still sleeping.

I woke up early than i thought...

I'm still lying in his bed. Staring and admiring my dad's look.

Avius really has a great face, he doesn't look like he has a child...a beautiful child that soon will die... I will not let that happen!

Until, i felt his body move a little. He looks at me with his morning glance. I felt it warmth, by his gaze.

"Atarah?... Why are you staring at me like that?" he asked with his gentle voice...

"Because you're pretty daddy!! Hehe... good morning daddy!" I replied and smile like the sunlights in the morning.

What? you stunned!? Because of my cute smile daddy!? tell me! tell me!. Come on!

"Stop talking nonsense..."

.

"That's not a lie dad! you're the prettiest..." i stop and stood up...

I sat on his chest and slowly rest my head on him..

"...and the best daddy." i said before i yawn again.

He pat my head while starring at me. My attention was in the outside of the windows, watching the leaves dancing through the winds. I didn't noticed that I'm already smiling. Is that because i felt his fondness for me. I hope it continued, just like this.

ESTIENTON HOUSE.

"Brother azriel? can i asked you something?" eileen started and stop from brushing her dolls hair.

Azriel stop what he was doing and turned his head just to look to the girl who made him curious too about what she's asking.

"Yes? What is it?" With a confused look in his face.

"That flower..." she pointed the flower that was in the flower vase.

"Where did you get that?...I've never seen such a beautiful flower like that...We don't even have that in our garden." Eileen explained and still pointing to the vase.

Azriel slightly smile before he answer.

"I got that when i accompanied my father to the palace. The garden is really beautiful that actually caught my sight." He answered while the smile was still in his face.

"D..did you get to the palace!?...Have you seen the princess! Did you got a chance to see the princess?" She got excited and run towards to his brother.

Azriel little smile got wider. His eyes became small because of his smile.

"REALLY!?REALLY!?.. what does the princess looks like..?"

"..She's cute, and pretty."

"WOAH!... I'm so jealous... I hope one day i can see them too! Ah! The emperor too! i wanna see their face~..."

"Of course you will." azriel said and pat eileen's head.

She's back at brushing her doll's hair while azriel keep studying.

On the other hand at Turquoise Palace.

"Princess!!" Paisley run to atarah, lift her up and hugging her.

"Are you okay!? Did you sleep well last night? I apologize for not being there princess" Paisley was about to cry.

'Last night was really horrible' she thought to herself.

"I..i'm perfectly fine last night paisley...umm... you don't need to worry i sleep with daddy so I'm fine.." Paisley looks really shocks about what she just heard, but she calm down a little bit.

Atarah's now sitting in her room while having a tea with cookies.

"Hmm...It's afternoon already?" Paisley notice from the window after she just finished cleaning the vase.

"Princess after you finish your food will you go for an afternoon nap?" Paisley asked... Atarah turned her head to face paisley.

"Ummm....No.. I'll go to the garden after these!"

"You want me to go with you princess?"

"It's okay Khyler's with me!" She smiled to paisley and drank her tea. Paisley smile back to her.

Atarah stood up and left to her room. Noticing khyler is not in the door where he always be.

'He's not here? Where is he?' Asking herself

"Paisley I'm going straight to the garden now!" She yelled and run.

"A..hh..b.but.. Where's mr. khyler!? A..atarah!??" Paisley didn't know what to do when atarah leave.

"Sleeping sheep in the star~

A blooming flowers and sitting in the ground~ while watching the sheep sleeping in the star

"Princess!" Atarah stop singing and look around to see who called her.

"How did you know that i was here?" Atarah asked

"I asked miss paisley where were you because you're gone when i came back."

"By the way princess...You're really good at singing...What song is that?" khyler asked

"It's called Sleeping sheep in the star it's a lullaby that paisley use to sing to me when I'm having a hard time to sleep..."

"Woah... Miss paisley must be really good at singing that made you asleep in peace princess?"

" Paisley is an angel! Her voice is like an angel..."

"Yes! I like paisley! She's like a mother to me! And the maids in the turquoise palace i like them all!Like this! ...A lot!" showing her arms wider

"Of course! I like khyler! I like khyler being my royal guard!!" She said proundly and handed him the flower crown.

"I'm so honor princess... I like the princess too... hehe...." Khyler start's to feel uneasy... He kooks around and noticed that avius is on fire and giving him a death glare from far away.

He flinched when is going towards to their direction.

"A...ahh... Ummm.." His throat become dry.

Atarah notice that he is start acting weird... She look to where khyler's looking.. She saw her father.

'Daddy? What with that looks on his face?'

She turned to look to khyler... And just realize.

'Wait! did he hear what i just said?' She stood up and run to her father when he is almost in there.

Avius pick her up and hug her. Yet, He's still giving khyler a death glare. Atarah can't see Avius face because she's facing the back, and avius holding her head so she can't turned her head.

"You're dismissed..." He snatched the.flower crown from khyler and just passed by him.

"I said you're dismissed! I don't want to see your face."

"Yes your majesty" Even he don't want to leave...

Avius looks shock but, at the same time he looks pleased to what she did. He let his sigh out before looking to atarah.

"Should i change your royal guard? or fired all the royal knights?" He asked

'What!This dude is insane!!'

"Then if thats what you want..." He patted her head and atarah lean her chin to his shoulder.

'Ahh... I knew it... He heard what i just said to khyler... I feel like daddy is going to hate him forever...'

'But why does he have the flower crown that i just gave to khyler?'
