losing someone precious

"What is that YOU want to tell us? How can you just leave it like this? She is not found yet!!" Yelled Evelyn's dad who were going through a tough time, having his one and only daughter to have gone missing and almost stated dead. How can he stay put when his daughter is missing.. no idea if she is still alive or not? His daughter who had long life to lead on and experience much more in her life.. in future.. than she had now ....

"I am sorry Mr Reid. But... we can't continue this! You see this is our third time already as you WISHED and I am really sorry for your loss... but she is no more." Said the officer giving him a pat on his back with sympathy. But it was not enough for the father's heart to convince himself that his lovely daughter whom he loved a lot more then himself is no more...

He was more scared to let him wife know that their daughter is never coming back. They are not gonna see her again. And this thought made him more sad and hopeless.

"B-But why.. how did this all happen? Where were you all when that unknown killer.. was pushing my daughter down to her DEATH?!" he yelled towards the end not being able to hold back his grief and anger burning him from inside. Maybe he wished he had never let her go out that day and kept with him... if... but what the truth is became like a lightening coming with thunder breaking his trance of thoughts of having her daughter with him this instance and his wish to see his daughter alive.. again. If possible?

"I am sorry sir... We couldn't do anything as it all happened in a matter of time even faster that a bullet train for us to realise what was happening." The officer paused seeing the man breaking down into sobs he was trying to hold so bad. "But that boy did try to protect her... but it was her decision to free her hand. I wonder why...?" Officer continued mostly mumbling at the end. The man sobbing beside glanced back at him with an expression that left the officer puzzled.

"What? What did you just s-say?" He asked confused at why his daughter would do such a thing. He jolt up from his seat banging hard on the table in between them leaning forward with an cold expression on his face to intimidate the officer to spill out whatever the thing is... he just started.

"Uh.. I-I just said s-she let herself f-fall down into the river. I-I don't know w-why?" The officer finished stuttering afraid of the man standing ahead of him. The officer was much scared to face the man having a mental break down with lots of thing going on in his mind. "Can you tell me what actually happened in the scene?" He said retracting back a little so that the officer who is completely dazed out from the tension filled in the air, could just relax and continue telling him everything he wanted to ask for.

"O-okay." The officer said glancing at the man now taking a seat on the chair where he was just sitting before few seconds. Officer signs and says " Actually the boy.. he lost his parents just a week ago. They were murdered and the boy was a victim as well as an witness. So we need to provide him protection as well as we needed to catch that killer. Um.. the killer was actually an wanted criminal whose case was being given to his dad." He paused gulping the saliva collected in his mouth with his long statement while the man was focused on whatever the officer was telling him . He reached his hand for the glass of water beside him and drank clearing his dry throat.

" Then we all made plans to capture that killer and that boy agreed to use him as a bait tho he may die or be in danger. He is a strong boy tho." He said smiling at the image of young Evan confidently asking for the officers to use him for the bait and that he wasn't scared. He was brought back from his trance when Mr Reid cleared his throat. He glanced him and continued.

"So he was on the bridge alone to lure the killer who was following him everywhere to kill him. But as we hid a bit far from him to reduce suspicion we saw a girl tailing Evan. We all were confused if she really was. We wanted to stop her but she was almost near  him. But as the killer arched towards Evan she yelled him to move. And he got stabbed on his arm. She held the killer captive bravely from the back. You have a brave daughter Mr Reid." He said making the man nod his head with too brought a small smile on his face.

"Then..... We ran to them and as the killer saw us approaching he pushed her to run and she ended up hanging being caught by the boy with his bleeding arm. We shot the killer on his leg and captured him but we heard Evan yelling and trying to jump for her when she freed herself from his hold. We barely hold the boy back who was wanting to jump into the water when he was losing consciousness. This is what had happened actually and the boy is in hospital still unconscious." He finished signing at the end.

The two male exchanged few looks with silence taking over the room after long conversation... was it?

"Are you sure?" Was the first question the owner of the studio asked listening to Shane. He was unsure to let go off them as they were pretty good dancers and they did had a very good potential. But he saw sincerity in his eyes as he said that and now he can feel how serious he is when he heard Shane replying " Yea. And we are leaving tomorrow. I am sorry sir but I will remember you all. And thanks for everything. Evan is still in hospital and will get discharged tomorrow and then we are heading straight to the new location."

The owner nod his head letting his brain process everything he heard. "Where are you heading to tho?" He asked wanting to know more. "Maybe somewhere a bit far from here.. but it is up to my parents to decide." He said shrugging which the man replied with a nod.

" then wish you luck for your new life. Visit someday when you visit here. And hope to see you both soon on screen. And give my wishes to Evan." He said with a big smile plastered on his face. Shane nods along with a smile.

"Why are you back alone?! Why is Evelyn.. where is she!?!?" Yelled the lady who had not stop sobbing ever since she found her daughter had gone missing. She run to the man and hits his chest sobbing hard. "I am sorry honey... they said there is no hope."

Upon hearing the words coming out from her husband she fall on her knees and sobbed hard covering her face with her hands. The man too joined her. He hugged her while she pushed him - probably not satisfied with him showing up alone without their daughter.

"No... Evelyn!! She can't leave us. N-No they missed her. They should look once more!!" She said within her husband's hold. While he just tightened his hold and caressed her head to soothe her in this agony and immense pain of losing their precious daughter. Of losing the dreams of seeing her growing up to be a beautiful independent girl living her life happily. As they had been left all alone with their happiness being snatched away from them along with their daughter.

The only question for them was... can they live happily after this?

Are they willing to live more without their daughter?

Will they ever get to see their daughter? Ever again....?
