So at work today I was filling in for a host and well it was about 2:30-2:40 and I was about to get off and I was tired cause I had to get up at about 8:30. We were also busy and kinda short on staff and needed tables to be bussed so I could sit the guest. Well their was like 3 or 4 tables that needed to be bussed and people were working on it they were doing their best. But a woman came up the the hose station and was wonder when she would be seated. When she first came in I said it would be about a 20-25 minute wait and she said it was fine but when it hit 30 minutes and she was also next to be seated she started getting upset with me. Well she kept saying she couldn't wait any longer and she wouldn't be able to make it much longer and I have all these empty table and all these people are waiting in line i need to start seating people. I told her the tables weren't empty they needed to be bussed so she just look at the tables then glanced and me and walked away. So like I said I was tired my feet were killing me from standing all day and this person yelled at me for something that wasn't my responsibility and we were doing out best so I started to tear up and just did what I could and put customers names on the wait list.
Also everyone was in line to check out and their was only one cashier so thats why their was alot of people. Then someone helped the cashier and their was only one peraon in line who needed a table. The about a minute later I sat her down and she said oh thank God finally thank you so much. I sat her down gave her the menus and silverware and apologized for the wait and she looked at me and said I would like to speak to your manager when you get the chance. Just please be nice to people working in fast food. I haven't been working their to long and this is the first person I've met like this but it still really hurt and I was trying my best to help people. So please be nice to fast food workers and just anyone in general. Thanks 😊
