Do you trust me?

"Two... One... Start!"

"Hey don't run, just speed walk." I watched as he started off. "What the?" A gust of air suddenly blew to my face.

"Why? What happened?"

"Keep going 'til I say stop." We're somehow behind because the others are partly running. "Stop now!" He stopped right in front of the sticky glue. Water came in front of me but I controlled it and it fell to the ground. "Lift your right foot forward... Stretch it... More... Good!" He stepped passed it. But there was more, he can just walk beside it. "Stop! Step your left foot... Another... Now, go straight." We managed to catch up to the second. "You have to duck."

"Right now?"

"No..." I waited for him to reached the bar. "Now!" He ducked. "You could go ten degree more higher, your back might ache." He did not bother and just walk under the bars. Siche pushed me along when he was splashed with water.

"Ouch!" He bumped into a platform.

I chuckled. "Sorry, I was distracted. Ahead of you is a platform of almost three feet." He climbed into it.

"How long is this? Is this plain platform?" I was about to answer him but I was pushed off to the platform.

"Hey! Sir was that acceptable?" Sir Zach ignored me so I just climbed back to my position. "Go straight... No, you're shifting to the right." I felt a strong wind on my right and I countered it.

"The heck?" Blaze muttered.

"What's the problem?"

"My floor just collapsed."

"What? It looks plain. Just walk." He did as I said and just walked.

"Fuck!" I saw his left foot sunk. I looked at the other players, four are in the same obstacle as us, and one is still in the bars.

"Oh! I figured it out. Go left! Do it slowly." I noticed the platform being designed like chess. The colors are almost mono but there are boxes that are slightly darker, that must be the sturdy ones. "One step forward and- Ouch!" I was slapped by water.

"Hey?"

"Step your right... Two forward... Stretch one of your foot forward... Too far... That's it! You could go straight then down." I blocked the water from the left.

"Straight?"

"You're slightly facing left. Go! Go!" We're currently in the lead. "Stop!" I'm hesitating to give him instructions because of Siche's words earlier.

"Hey what now?" It took me a while to finally speak.

"Do you trust me?" I asked him.

"What are you up to?" He asked irritated.

"Tell me you do!"

"Time's running!"

"Screw it! Let's just do it!" Here comes nothing. I dodged first the water that was thrown on my way. "Step back."

"What? Why?"

"You'll be jumping. Take two steps backward." He did. "Now take two steps running then jump, then hold the bar. Do not hang more than three seconds at the bar, release your hold immediately when I say. I don't know what will happen if you hesitate, so would you trust me?"

"Why exactly do I need to jump?"

"It's hollow." Blaze fell into silence.

"How deep is it?"

"From here, I can't see the end." Lex already catch up to Blaze. I don't want to push Blaze to something he doesn't want to do. "We could give up now, but you're gonna have to treat me to a snack." He didn't answer. I stared at Blaze. What could he be thinking right at this moment? And I remember how he asked me before the battle of what was I scared of. I want to ask him now. But I know he won't answer. Air smacked the back of my head.

"Shit! Ok, that made my brain function properly." I said sarcastically. "Hey let's stop here." Instead of stopping, he stepped his right foot backward, preparing to jump. He's proceeding? "BLAZE STOP!" I yelled through the earpiece. "Siche and Lex are already winning, we can't catch up." I told him even though Lex just jumped from the bar and we can surely catch up to him since Blaze is a fast runner. He almost fell into his knees but he stabled his self.

Moments later, the bell rang. I ran to Blaze beside the obstacle where he needed to jump. "You can now remove your blindfold." I smiled at him but he seems upset. I looked down the hollow part. "Woah!" I looked at Siche who is also shocked from seeing it up close. We both laughed.

"Thankful I followed you away from the track." He said and I just laugh.

"You all witnessed that Siche and Lex were the one who won the game. So as I said before, they will be getting the perfect score on this performance. That's all for today, I hope you all learned from our activity about cooperation, synchronisation, trust, and any other bullshits." We laughed on his remark. "See you again next week. I need some help on clearing this things. And Rogin? You must put the ground back in normal before the council sees it." So he was the one who made that, his power is cool.

"Hey B- hey!" I saw Blaze running to the exit. What's his problem? "Siche you know what's wrong with him?" He just shrugged.

I followed him to the exit. I opened every door I passed by. Did he left already? I noticed there's still door on the end of the way. I opened it and I saw Blaze sitting on a stool while staring out the window. I made my way to him while avoiding any noises.

I heard a sob. Was that me? Blaze dropped his head on his hands. Is that guy crying? What just happened? I did not do anything. Should I just leave or not? He will not like it if I see him like that. Or does he need someone right now. He wept louder and producing unidentified sounds. I unconsciously walked towards him. I hugged him and he seemed shock.

"Don't ask me what I'm doing because I also don't know." I was standing while leaning his head with my right hand towards me and my left hand patting his back. He stopped sobbing. I think he did because I was here and he doesn't want to show me that he's crying. "It's alright to cry... I won't ask why... I don't know what's bothering you... and what made you so afraid... I could just hear you cry if you don't want to let me hear your reasons." I chuckled. I finally felt him relax under my touch. It's weird that I also felt comfort right now.

He pulled away. "You stinks." Then he chuckled.

"Where are you going?" I asked him.

"Changing, you coming with me?" He said and winked. That's the Blaze I know.
