Disagreements

Location: Coruscant Jedi Temple Council Room

"Of course we don't believe it was you personally Master Plo-Koon for multiple reasons. So our only assumption is that the traitor is someone else among the Jedi or someone close enough to have received that information."

This Mace Windu wouldn't take this sitting down. "How dare you accuse the Jedi Order of such things! We have been the protectors of the Galaxy since the last war!" Anger was clearly shown on his face.

"For a Jedi Master you sure let your emotions take over quite often Master Windu. As for being protectors if you count kidnapping children and allowing the Sith to come back. You've done a hell of a job. No wonder you can't feel the Dark Side swarming this temple and planet."

The room froze. No one spoke. The only thing that was heard was Yoda getting off his chair and walking towards the Valkyrie. "Right you are. Wrong we be. The Dark Side clouds our vision. An answer you have?" Again no one in the room spoke. Mace Windu clenched his fist.

"Master Yoda! We cannot take Advice from a traitor! There is no telling what harm will come from the Jedi Order." Rayath could tell that Mace Windu was blinded by his love for the Jedi Order and how he completely believed in its ideals. He just isn't cut out to be a Master within the Order. He would be more suited in the Valkyries.

"If I may?" Aayla Secura thought there were far more important things to discuss. "If they thought it was someone on the Council Master Windu they wouldn't of came here requesting assistance." This calmed down most of the Masters. "I for one support the Valkyries in finding this traitor. If we can prevent further casualties I think this is the Jedi way."

"Aayla is correct. If its a possibility it's something the Order should have no problem investigating at best case scenario we learn there isn't one." This time it was Master Obi-Wan who raised his support. "I suggest calling for a vote."

Of the current twelve Jedi Masters on the High Council 7 of them voted for the investigating into a traitor. "Master Plo who did you give the information to? Other than us on the Council, no one." Thinking slightly he turns towards Obi-Wan and Anakin. "Ah yes. You two were also there weren't you?"

"Are you accusing us, Master Plo?" Anakin's face turned extremely ugly for the moment. "My Master would never sell anyone out to the Separatist."

"I wasn't accusing but more so asking for your opinion on the matter." Anakin realizing his mistake quickly apologized for his actions. For some reason everyone was forgetting an important figure that was at the meeting. For some reason he never crossed any of the Jedi's minds. It was as if his presence was being forgotten.

After a few hours of debating the possibilities unfortunately they weren't able to reach a conclusion. None of the Master sensed any changes in the Force and couldn't get an answer while some mediated during the meeting.

"We do have a suggestion if you don't mind." Rayath was tired from the pointless debate knowing full well that most of these Jedi weren't strong in espionage. Most wore their feelings on their face and she could tell they were either honestly concerned or baffled at the fact someone was giving information to the Separatist.

"Go ahead." All the Jedi Masters nodded in agreement.

"Most of you Master's lead a group of Clone Troopers. For example Anakin leads the 501st, Obi-Wan leads the 212th. We will each give you a location of a Mandalorian mining that may or may not exist. You will spread it among the tops of your battlegroup only." The Jedi slowly came to an understanding of what was being asked of them. Although they didn't like deception they felt they did need to take care of the possible traitor.

"We do not like your play. But we must accept your plan."
