Quinn stayed with me the entire time I was at the hospital, only leaving my side to go to the bathroom. It was kinda...nice.
We talked a lot throughout the entire day and once it became night, she climbed on the hospital bed with me and we watched a movie on her phone. I haven't watched a movie since...
"Hey," She whispers as the movie continues to play. "Don't be sad..."
She kisses my cheek and I let her do it... Strangely, it made me feel a little bit better.
Once the movie ended, I couldn't even remember what it was about...I was still thinking about that kiss...Guess it cheered me up better than I thought it did...
She got down from the bed and was about to head back to the chair.
"Uh- Wait!" My hand stretched out towards as if it stop from getting farther from me. I quickly dropped it by my side when she turned around.
"Yeah?"
"You're not going to sleep in that chair again...are you?" I ended that question with a small voice that didn't seem my own. "It- uhm-" I gulped. "It doesn't seem comfortable to sit there."
She stood there waiting. No teasing...I guess me fainting at school scared her...?
"Uhm...you can sleep on the bed with me..."
Still no teasing...
"Sure,"
I looked at her surprised and was about to ask her why she wasn't acting her usual self-then I caught the expression she was making and stopped myself. I scooted over a bit and she climbed back on.
It was silent for awhile.
"I'm sorry for scaring you..." I whispered. She didn't say anything for awhile then she spoke.
"I wasn't scared...I was petrified..." She sounded like she about to cry. "The worst scenarios kept playing in my head." She sobbed.
Feeling a little awkward, I held her hand in what I hoped would help comfort her.
"Don't scare me like that again you idiot!" She raised her voice at me, not quite yelling.
"I'm sorry...I won't...I promise,"
She sighed in relief. "Good,"
