LongWei's powers grew as he became stronger but he would only use it in dire need. Figuring out how to control it was no easy task especially since his name was becoming well-known to enemies all around. They wouldn't hesitate to attack him like he was some kind of prize to be beaten whether he was dead or alive.
Later on that evening LongWei had a searing pain coming from his shoulder blades. Pain erupted in what felt like hours, when it began to ease LongWei slowly turned his head to have a look and gasped. He noticed two small spikes sticking out. The only thought that popped into his mind was 'that won't be easy to conceal'.
The spikes slowly grew bigger and started to resemble small chicken wings. Even after several hours there was still nothing that actually looks like wings. He kept looking hoping they would appear overnight. LongWei discovered during some of his battles that he was moving faster, which meant that he managed to direct his power through his spikes. No sooner than that happened LongWei's mentor suddenly materialised in-front of him and his mentor saw LongWei's spikes and noticed something glowing at the tip he himself did not foresee.
"LongWei, you are becoming something extremely more powerful than I have foreseen. Your tips glow, but how? You must learn control and one day you will make a powerful Alpha."
"They're glowing! Does that mean anything?" LongWei asked curiously.
"Not sure, but my guess is that you may be able to direct your powers through the spikes," his mentor explained.
As his mentor spoke he noticed his hands start to transform, his nails turned into claws. As he was looking at them he thought 'I can easily tear apart my opponents, limb by limb.'
As time went on LongWei found he could barely rest. When all his fights were won he stood on the cliff edge admiring the views thinking about how great it would be if or when he starts to fly. As his horns grew bigger he chose to stop going to the market. He knew he would attract attention and he'd prefer not to cover up. He stayed within the forests concealing himself the best he could. When he got hungry he would hunt deers, they were fast but he soon realised he was faster.
That very evening he slept soundly, his horns went slightly limp, big thick web-like sheets began forming around him, changing his body quite considerably. During that transformation a tail extended out. By the time he awoke his transformation was complete, however he knew nothing of it. It wasn't until he went to the stream for a drink and saw his own reflection. He was shocked at first, then he was surprised before he went ecstatic. He was eager to test out his wings and new form.
It took several attempts for LongWei to take flight and several more days to get the hang of his wings. After that he was soon flying freely.

It was a clear blue sky, LongWei was soaring in the warm air creating a cool breeze. He was enjoying the moment, glad to not be fighting anyone. He slowed suddenly. He couldn't believe what he saw. He moved towards it and picked up a little bit of speed to get a closer look.
