Chapter 3

'More dragons!' He wondered. The other dragons looked at LongWei with a surprised look. However, they didn't acknowledge him because they were heading towards the lair. LongWei curiously followed them. As he neared them he was hearing the thoughts of others but he didn't know how he was doing that. He wanted to block them out as some of the thoughts were disturbing but it felt as though it wasn't his own mind as if someone else was controlling that part. No sooner had he thought that when all the dragons including LongWei arrived at a remote mountain. It looks small, but on the inside it was massive. LongWei flew various laps around in circles, when suddenly he heard growls. He felt the shockwaves bellow through the air. He saw an empty perch to land on as he stared at the other dragons looking down.

'What were they looking at? What was I going to find out?' I thought.

LongWei never looked-away, he noticed the mist shifting slightly and he thought he saw something move, but nothing appeared and the dragons stopped looking. It seemed whatever was down there had disappeared. All the other dragons flew out, LongWei naturally followed them. As he flew out he saw something, another dragon, none of the other dragons dared to fly near it.

LongWei had other ideas at first, but then he decided he would wait for this dragon to do something as he couldn't figure him out. He couldn't read his mind either so he figured out that he was a lot stronger. LongWei realised he must be their Alpha. As he roared most of the weaker dragons whimpered and moved back slightly. The Alpha growled again but louder than before. LongWei felt him probing his mind, possibly trying to break him, but he managed to block his attempt. LongWei began to growl back at him, growling louder and stronger until the Alpha coward away. From then on LongWei became the Alpha.
