EMBER'S POV

"He laughed and threw his head back"

Okay, if I win this battle you do as I say, and mark a shewolf, and be the alpha he said with that smug smirk, god, I want wipe that off his face.

And, if i win, i keep avie, deal?i held my hand out to shake on it.

"He did" and he headed out the door to the- back yard for our battle, I followed I know I'm going to win I have to for her.

I watch my father standing in front me, his grey hair was smooth back, he was good built to be an old man- he stripped off his clothes and shifted his wolf, Leto growled- and attracted an Audience, I strip down as well and shifted.

We, circled around each other waiting for the other to start the attack.

After a good five minutes, I lunged at him- my teeth sinking in shoulder, but I felt a burning sensation on my shoulder, then realized he bit me back. I knocked him to- the ground and sunk my teeth in chest and- his claws dug in my sides, I couldn't let the pain distract me, I had to win avies- my mate, with that thought I clawed his- face deep he howled in pain, I lunged on- his throat,I could hear the gasps in crowd- we drawled in and just as I was about to rip- his throat out and claim avie, I caught her scent she was here? she was watching with out thinking, i looked around the- crowd then spotted her by rudi, i growled and before I knew it, I was on the ground and my father's teeth was at my throat,

She makes you weak and pathetic, I just- won this fight you will obey me that's an- order, he growled through mind link, and he released me and shifted back and began- getting dressed.

"I shifted back and stared at my father"

Dad please, understand shes my mate, I said through mind link.

He sighed, and walked toward me he put his hand on my shoulder.

I know ember, but trust me when I say- what iam doing is for the best, instead of alpha ceremony in two months will have a mating ceremony, and one month after you have claimed your shewolf ,we will have- the alpha ceremony, he said through mind link and with that he walked away.

I felt her soft hand touch my arm the burn from her touch and intoxicating smell.Ember, her voice barely a whisper, god I- want her she's my mate! how could i have- lost? now I have to just forget about her? but how am I supposed to do that? Fuck I shouted at my self.

Are you okay?

I met her gaze her piercing brown eyes burn deep in mine.

I'm fine, beautiful and started walking to woods I could hear her panting breaths- she's following me, but she cant help that it's the mate bond.

Once we got out of site and in the woods she grabbed, my arm and turn me to face her, damn shes strong to be a human.

What was that all about ember?

I didnt answer, I couldn't tell her the truth how could I? I backed her in a tree.

I could hear breathing getting ragged so I do affect her, she licked her lips god I want to suck on those lips, devour them taste- her maybe I could be with her, without my father knowing? .....mmm...

Ember are we mates? She asked trying to stable her breaths.

Yes, but I couldn't tell her that not after what happen.

NO ,I said coldly.

Her piercing eyes started to tear up.

My stomach clench at thought of her in tears, i would rip anybody throat out that- would make her cry, but I'm doing this me, i feel nauseous, I push that aside and turn my attention back to herShe softly, brushed her fingers on my cheek and she step closer to me.

What the hell, is she doing?

I know were mates, you cant deny it, ember i feel it, she whispered.

"Fuck this shit"

I grasped her waist tightly, and pushed her- back in the tree, and brushed my lips on her's, she kissed me back and snaked her arms around my neck, I can smell the- juices between her thighs, god it smells so good, I was going to taste every inch of her body her perfect body.

She pulled away from my lips, I stared at her deep brown eye's.

Ember, she moaned I ran my hand under- her sports bra and cupped her breast, tugging at her her already hard nipple's i felt the bulge in my Jean's grow tight, I brushed my lips against hers again, I run- my tongue across her bottom lip wanting- access into her mouth, she hesitated but- inched it open, our tongues made circles around each other,  I slowly messaged her tongue with mine, damn she taste so good, she dug her nails in my back, a moan- escaped my throat, she smiled against my mouth.

"Avie" someone shouted.We pull apart and look In the direction of the house.

Ember, its lexi it's okay, if she see us she said.

I frowned at her, what the hell was she- thinking? lexi cant see us together she- would run and tell our father, and god only know what would happen, I inhaled and faced avie.

Beautiful, you cant tell anyone about this.

I stared at her, she looked hurt, but if she- understood what would happen if anyone- was to find out, she wouldn't be so hurt by- this. fuck I hate my father, how can he do- this? maybe I can reason with him after all- he is my father.

Ember, why cant lexi know? or any for that matter? she said, annoyed and folded her- arms over her chest, god she doesn't see- how beautiful she is, I can feel her pain- cant she feel mine?

Avie, your human right? I said flat.

Yes, but what does that have to do with it? She said coldly. but I can see through her- she's trying to hide the pain in her voice, but I can see it in her eye's and feel in my- bone's.

I'm going to be alpha of this pack, in three- months from now, and in order for me to- do that my mate cant be a human. I got right to the point no use beating around, the Bush right?Tears stream down her face, my chest tighten the muscle's in my stomach- clenched, I fought back my own tear's back and- wiped her's away, but she slapped my- hand's away god she's so fucking sexy- when shes angry.

You dont want me? She sniffled.

the pain I've caused her and myself,is just to much to bare,but nothing could- compare to the pain in my chest my heart- was breaking, but after what I'm about to- say it will be broken.

NO, avie I dont, I choaked out.

I felt so weak, I'm a fucking jerk for saying- that, but I had to right? Or my father might- banish her from the pack house, I couldn't- risk that.

She started sniffling, so hard she pushed- me out of her away, and ran back in the- direction of the house.
