What if the person outside had heard their talks? But they were not talking of something that could make someone suspicious, so it might not be a problem. 

"Manager Davis, I was-"

It was Lily, she was carrying Alyssa's timetable, "Oh, Alyssa you are here as well, nice. I wanted to inform you that I can come with you for the audition, I have cleared up my schedule. Now you don't need to go there alone."

Both Alyssa and manager Davis sighed in relief, it looked as if she had not caught up with anything and now the issue they were talking about had also been solved. Alyssa no longer needed to go for the audition alone.

"Okay. You guys may leave now." Davis said as he went back to his seat. 

"It is almost lunch time, shall we eat something?" While both of them left his office, Lily asked Alyssa. 

"Sure… Um, I wanted to ask for a favor. Can we please, please eat some instant noodles?" Alyssa was practically begging her right now. 

"Tsk, did I not tell you? You are going to have an audition as well, you should try to avoid all this."

Although Lily was scolding her, when she looked at Alyssa, her heart softened, "Now that you said instant noodles, I am craving for it. Since I also want it, only for today, we can have it."

"Really!!?" Alyssa's eyes instantly brightened up. 

"Yeah, but instead you will have to workout today evening."

"Well there is no free meal in this world, so okay!" She replied cheerfully.

Since instant noodles were not in their canteen menu today, they decided to leave for Alyssa's home since it was close.

"Welcome to my humble home!" Alyssa invited Lily inside. 

" It's quite big, I didn't expect that." She said as she looked around the condo. 

"Hehe." Alyssa laughed awkwardly, "I did not contribute much when we brought this place. More than half of the payment was done by him." She said as she mentioned about her boyfriend.

"He looks reliable…" Lily sat on the couch, "Nice. Where is he right now? Does he work?"

"Yeah." Alyssa washed her hands and took out the instant noodles packets from the cabinet. 

"You have got a lot of packets lady! So much of unhealthy food is not acceptable." Lily exclaimed. 

"You don't have to worry about that." Alyssa laughed. "Ever since I have signed a contract with Supreme Starlight he has made sure to keep me in check. Haha!" 

"That's good…" Lily smiled.

As she looked at Alyssa working in the kitchen, she could not help but go back to the conversation she had heard some time ago.

Earlier she had come to Davis's office to tell him that it was fine if Alyssa headed to the audition alone, after all, it was just an audition and nothing much, many people would be present there.

But she accidentally heard their talks. Although she couldn't understand what exactly they were talking about, she understood one thing, and it was that Alyssa could not go there alone.

Therefore when she entered the office, she told them that she would go along with her.

Alyssa finally brought the bowls out, both of their stomachs were growling in hunger. 

After taking the first bite, Lily pursed her lips and frowned a little, "Too salty! You should have told me, I could have helped make a better one!." 

"Hehe… I know I'm not that good in cooking." Alyssa laughed embarrassedly. (😅) "I hope its edible."

"It is not that bad… Well at least now I know that you can't cook, I will avoid any shows regarding it." Lily said as she took a few more bites.

"Oh, and I wanted to talk about some things related to work. As you know, the audition you will be going to, is for a remake of a popular movie from the 90's. The director of this film is the son of the director of the original movie."

"Yeah I know." Alyssa had already got to know about this from Manager Davis.

Although the original director had a reputable name in the industry, his son was completely opposite to him. He was a very despicable person, and took advantage of girls whenever he could.

*Ting-Tong* 

The doorbell rang.

"Who could be here at this hour?" Alyssa thought. "I'll see the door." She stood up....

"How come you are back so early? Didn't you have work in the office?" Her voice could be heard. 

Lily strained her neck and looked back, it was some handsome boy. Her eyes glittered. 

"When I used to be free and ask for your time, you were busy. And now, when I'm starting to work, you are free!?" Alyssa complained.

He chuckled softly, "It's not that I didn't want to be with you. During those days, my boss was a workaholic. But these days he is just… unconcerned about the world!" He took off his shoes and asked in a low voice, "Someone's at home?"

Along with glittering eyes, Lily's face also had a smirk right now, "He is good looking and his voice is heavenly. I should not miss this chance!" She thought.

"Yeah, my manager is here." Alyssa replied in a hushed voice as well, "Go and greet her."

As soon as he came in front of Lily he introduced himself professionally, "Hello, I'm Alyssa's boyfriend, Ryan."

Lily couldn't control her excitement as her thoughts ran wild. "Good looking, good voice, and even his name means 'little king'. Perfect!" 

"Hey Ryan, are you interested in acting or maybe singing? I can totally groom you as an idol as well!"

"Umm-" but she cut him in between, "Oh, are you thinking about your relationship? It can be solved as well. Both of you debut as a couple! Doesn't that sound great?!"

"Actually he already has a very good job Lily. There is no need!" Finally, after being cut by Lily several times, Alyssa said in a loud voice. 

"Oh…"

After sometime, "I am really amused that you can actually eat something that she has made! Hahaha!" Ryan laughed as he got hit by Alyssa at the same time.

"And can I see if there is any fixed schedule for her? I hope I'm not asking for much." 

"Yes, sure. Here." Lily gave him a sheet of paper. "Since it's her first audition, and we are not even sure if she will pass it, I have not added many things. It will change if she gets the role in Pretty Woman. Although her role won't be as good as the protagonist, by getting the third female lead role she will surely gain a lot of popularity." 

"Hmm, not bad." He read tons of proposals everyday, although they weren't entertainment related, Ryan could tell that this plan was well organized. If executed properly, Alyssa could really become an A-list actress in the future.
