Mr. Martin is involved?

Few hours ago…

"Yeah. Is it today itself?" Lily asked. 

"Yes, today evening see you there." , the Assistant Director replied.

After that, both Lily and Alyssa left the place as soon as possible. 

"....I am so sorry for the inconvenience, Special Assistant Ashely…. Yes…. Yeah, even I was shocked!.... Okay we will see you tomorrow then." After the talks ended, Lily motioned Alyssa to end the call as she was driving.

Alyssa, who still had to get hold of things, did not understand what was going on, she asked Lily several questions as they sped through the highways. 

"Um… In short, although Director Noah is notorious for you- know- what, he is also known for his great crew management. That is why his works are so famous, because everyone has great interpersonal relationships. Anyways, for that to happen, his team always holds a gathering immediately after the auditions are done. It helps everyone, and unlike other celebrity parties, this gathering is known for its safety, so you don't need to worry." Lily had not expected everything to happen so soon and that's why she was rushing a bit at the moment.

According to the schedule she had received, the auditions were going to be carried on for two more days, then why was the gathering held today? 

"Oh... " Alyssa had heard of such things before but, had thought that she would only be able to get a party invitation after making some name for herself. Who would have expected her first audition would land her into a famous party!?

"Where are we heading to, by the way? This is not the way to Supreme Starlight."

"Well, I'm taking you directly to a stylist that I know. We cannot afford to reach there late and look unpresentable."

As Lily stopped at the red signal she look that Alyssa, "Today was your first audition and you got the role of the third female lead, if you arrive late, everyone will have a very bad impression of you. You are the junior here, after all."

"Hm…" Alyssa also agreed that she couldn't disrespect them.

Finally, after an hour or so Alyssa got ready and came out. Looking at her Lily was stunned for a moment, she had known that Alyssa was a beautiful lady, but after seeing her all dolled up, she was just… "Wow!" That was the only thing she could say at the moment. It was a peach colored cold-shoulder dress that was complemented by a beautifully done hairstyle and light make-up.

 Lily had asked the stylist to keep tone down on everything because she did not want Alyssa to be targeted because of her beauty right now. This would be everyone's first meeting, and Lily didn't want people to judge Alyssa based on her looks. They would eventually know better about her when they saw her act.

Due to lack of experience, Alyssa could not understand Lily's concerns but she knew that they were reasonable because she trusted her. 

"Thank you so much dear!" Lily looked at her friend with gratitude. "I know that it was at the last minute, but thanks for your help!"

"!!?" Lily's friend was shocked seeing her  haughty friend in such a humble state. "W-welcome! You can come here anytime."

Alyssa smiled and was about to thank her when she got dragged away by Lily. "Let's go, we don't have time!"

When that reached the venue, Alyssa was a bit shocked. This was a bit too lavish, right? Observing her reactions, Lily laughed, "There is no need for you to be so shocked, it's a party held by 'The Director Noah' after all, he has always been a great money spender."

As they were about to enter the room, the Assistant Director from the morning came by and stopped them.

"Umm, Lily! Finally you are here, I was searching for you. There are some details we need to talk about, please come here."

Lily looked at Alyssa and said, "You go in, I will come. Ok?" Saying that she left with the Assistant Director.

As soon as she opened the door, the stench of alcohol hit Alyssa's face. She frowned but still went in. On going in, she realized that something was amiss. Lily had told her that all the actors, who would be included in the movie would come here but, she could only see Noah and some more people, few of them were also those who were in the deciding committee today morning. She hastily turned back and tried to open the door but it was locked!

As panicked as she was, she didn't forget that Lily was still out there and tried to calm down a bit. At this moment, someone recognized her and called her name out. "Oh Miss Alyssa is already here. Come here!! Welcome- welcome!" This old man seemed to be an investor of the movie.

Noah who seemed quite drunk already also slurred out some words, "Alyssa, come here~ We should discuss your role, shouldn't we?"

He immediately stood up and grabbed her arm.

"No!" Alyssa struggled to get out of his grip as she tried to find an object to defend herself.

Looking at the struggling lady, everyone else in the room laughed. "Girl, why do you think Director Noah asked you to play the second lead during the audition, because we can get you that role!" Some man said. 

"Yes you should stop struggling! You might get the female lead for my next investment!" 

"Hahahaha!" The people in the room laughed.

"So you are asking me to help you with this audition?" Meanwhile Lily was still talking with the Assistant Director. 

"Yes, I have personally come to ask you since it's so important!" 

Lily frowned, first this man was talking about details that had already been talked about, and now, he was asking her to bring the artistes she managed before for some guest appearances.

Wait, but haven't all the roles already been decided?! Where is this new casting coming from!!? Instantly she understood what was happening. Lily angrily shoved the man in front of her and ran out.

Noah had released Alyssa after her countless attempts to free herself.

She didn't try to open the door because she knew it would waste her time and opportunity.

Therefore Alyssa quickly took out her phone and did something, but before she could call someone, her phone was snatched by Noah and thrown on the ground.

In his drunk voice he continued, "This time you have got me a feisty one, Vice President Martin…"
