"Lyka what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost?" I asked.
"No, I'm just shocked that someone like Levi managed to get a girlfriend." She replied.
"Ouchie, that hurts Lykfilia. And by the way, sarcasm doesn't really suit you. " Leviathan said.
"Yea I kinda knew that already."
"Okay guys, please stop staring at each other like you're gonna attack in a second. It's getting sort of creepy." I interrupted the silence.
"Sorry. I guess I just got lost in your eyes there Lykfilia." Leviathan said.
"....we should probably get going." I said.
"Well, let's get going then!" Lyka says cheerfully after a moments silence.
"We should, if we want to reach town before dusk." Leviathan said.
We started walking, the two just following my lead. After quite a while of silence, it was finally broken.
"Where are we going again?" Lyka asked with a bit of confusion in her voice.
"Oh yeah, since Levi told us to take a detour around Woodsage because of Stradivarius, we're now heading to Rivermist, and then we travel to Wintermount, on the other side if Woodsage." I explained.
"Oh cool, Wintermount is where our old tavern used to be." Levi paused. "I wonder if it's still there."
"Our?" Lyka asked him, taking a step closer. Oh how I love it when she starts asking him about his past.
"Yeah, Spectre and I ran a tavern for a couple of decades before and after the war."
"That's the place you lived in? A tavern?"
"Yeah, I mean, for someone who wasn't exactly raised in a forest, it was quite good really. It had three bedrooms, a backroom, storage cellar, a small kitchen, and the main dining room of course. Neither of us actually knew how to cook properly though." Leviathan smiled at the thought. "Then again, you only saw it half ruined Lykfilia."
"You remember that now?" She asked. I continued observing the conversation between the two.
"Yeah, I've started remembering more and more now. "
"Okay guys, I'm gonna have to break up this adorable moment to tell you that there's a storm on it's way here, so we need to hurry up." I said.
"Not so fast Videns," a voice behind us said. "I have something to settle first."
The three of us turned around to the source of the voice.
"Oh no." I breathed out.
Lyka looked blank, and Levi scowled.
"Not you again."
Thunder crackled in the distance. Lightning struck close by, lighting up the person's armor.
It was Stradivarius.
