Chapter Five

"Hey, love birds wakey wakey." I heard a voice say.

I then tried to get up but something was prohibited me from doing so. I looked at my waist to see a pair of arms. I've looked behind me and saw Emily standing there but I was more occupied to look at the arms owner. To my less surprise, it was Taeo, yesterday's memories that came back as I felt my cheeks heat up at how many times I've hugged him already.

"Wake up you ugly gorilla, my friend is trying to get up," Emily said while shaking the life out of the sleeping man beside me.

We then heard Taeo growl a little before his eyes started to slowly open. As he realizes the situation he had immediately let me go and started acting all shy and cute. Aw, I didn't know he could be that cute.

I shrugged this thought out and got up from my bed. The same did Taeo. The three of us then went downstairs and went to sit at the table. Mark was already there fully dressed and fully awake.

"Who's cooking this morning?" said an enthusiast Mark.

"I and Kim could cook? What do you think?" Asked Emily.

"Oh sure I just don't really know how to cook," I said feeling bad.

"It's okay ill show you." She said with a big smile.

We then both went into the kitchen and she started putting a few different ingredients on the counter. They were so many things that I got really confused about, I didn't know what half of them were.

"We are making pancakes with fruit and whip cream. You can cut the strawberries."

"Okay," I said and started doing so while she was making something else, which is probably the pancakes.

A few minutes after I was done.

"Umm Emily I am done what do I do after?"

"Oh, just wait I am almost done with the pancakes," she told me.

I waited in silence until she finished cooking the pancakes.

"Done," she said.

I then grabbed four plates and put them on the counter. She put a pancake in each one of them.

"Now, here comes the fun part." She told me all excited.

She grabbed some little wood stick and gave me one.

"You need to grab your pancake and shape it in a roll. Then use the toothpick to make it stay there, like this," she said as she showed me how.

I did the same as her and then she grabbed a cone bottle from the refrigerator. She then shook the bottle and sprayed some white cream in her pancake and a little bit on the top too. She then handed it to me and I did the same.

"Then just add some fruits on the top and in the middle."

I did what she told me and it looked very good.

"It looks very good," I told her with a big smile.

"Yep, I totally agree," Emily said as she returned my smile.

We then did two others for the boys and headed to the kitchen table with our amazing fruit pancakes.

"Whoa that looks really good!" exclaimed Mark as soon as he saw the food.

"I know right!" said Emily.

We then sat and started eating. I learned that the white thing is called whip cream and it is really sweet. It really has good taste, you guys should try it.

After breakfast, I asked Taeo if there was a way that he could get me shopping since I didn't have any other clothes, only pyjamas. He said that I can borrow some of Emily's clothes and that he will take me there as soon as I am ready. Taeo picked an outfit for me and lead me to the bathroom. I took a shower and got dressed. I then searched for Taeo. He was sitting on the sofa with something in his hands.

"Is that a cellphone?" I asked him all surprised.

"Um yes, didn't you saw one of those before?"

"Well, I did on Television... Father, never accepted me to have one."

"What really?" he said with a shook expression.

As an answer, I nodded.

"Then let's go get you one," he said while getting up.

We made our way to the car and he put some weird music on our way there. He said that the group was named BTS. Their music was actually pretty good.

Soon enough we pulled into a big parking lot in front of a huge building. Well about the same size as our castle. One of the only differences was that it was crowded.

We entered the building and he had led me to one of the first stores. The name of it was; Urban Planet. I wore clothes from designers and stores like Gucci and Chanel on fewer fancies occasions. That was probably the reason why I found this clothing very simple but I still liked it.

I ended up picking a lot of clothes. Taeo paid for it since I didn't have any money, but I felt bad, so I asked him a question as we made our way to a bubble tea shop.

"Taeo, how do I get money?"

"Oh, you need to work. But why do you ask?" He answered me.

"Because I need money to repay you. And which kind of work?"

"You don't have to repay me don't worry."

"But I want to, now will you answer my question?"

"It depends on the place you work. I recommend you to go apply to a place that is hiring. Then you will need to fill out an application paper."

"And then when do I get my money?"

"You will have shifts which are when you will have to come work. Every two weeks you will receive your payment. How come you didn't know that."

"Well I am not the king, and in the royalty, it's the man who takes care of everything. The women are normally there just for the look."

"Oh so like a dog?"

"Yep exactly," I said as we both giggled.

We then arrive at the shop and stood in line. It was now our turn to stand in front of the counter. Taeo was telling our orders as I saw a sign at the cash side; We are now hiring. I did not hesitate to ask if I could take the job.

"I am applying for the job."

Taeo looked at me with a surprised look. I pointed to the sign.

"It says that you are hiring, I would like to apply please," I said with a big smile on my face.

And this is how I got my first job.
