Bliss sat in the corner against the wall, resting head on knees , trying to hide herself and her life in a small space . Should she be missing Blue! Should she be crying beside unconscious body if Mia, should she feel sorry , should she hate herself?
Should she recall image of Blue's parent at the funeral! Should she cry over the fact Mia was unable to attend the last moment of her beloved.
Should she linger over the feelings, when this day last year, Christmas, she lost her job, her brother got admitted, she had no money, she had no one.
Should she consider the fact that she didn't shed a single tear during the funeral and still her eyes are not helping her. She was just lost.
But nor did Saiph. Neither did he diverted his gaze from the coffin, nor a single word uttered. Not even 'sorry ' .his body among the crying folks was still as dead .
Break your silence, it kills
Tears in your eyes are still
Things are waiting to flow
Say the words that I need to know

The living room was dark. No lights were lit. Only city lights from around were making way to mingle with the darkness inside, giving a smoky effect. Saiph was sitting on the couch opposite to fireplace, eyes fixed out of the window, and hand holding cigarette close to his face, smoke blurred his entire presence.
She walked near him . He knew but he didn't moved a bit, only his breath were running. Only the smoke was rising and somewhere silently his heart was beating.
Bliss placed the aurora piece over the fireplace, where it used to be.
Then for minutes, she kept saying things, Saiph never heard. He knew she was talking to him, but he didn't listen, or he couldn't. He kept looking out, quite. His cigarette came to end , he moved to put it out in the ashtray .
Then with his fingers running through his hair, he rested his head on his palm. After tightly closing his eyes, he opened them along a sigh .
He got up stood in front of Bliss, looking in her eyes, still unable to hear her words.
He only saw her eyes, dry, then showing pain , then holding back tears, then becoming wet, then drops of tear almost ready to flow out.
As subconsciously,he was waiting for the pearl of water to stream down the rosy cheeks. But as the heavy drop was hanging from the bottom waterline, she thrashed her head in his chest. Her body shivering badly, disturbed the stillness of his.
He thought, how was he supposed to pacify someone?how could he be expected to ?He was the one in need of it . He needed someone's shoulder to cry on. How could he offer what he need himself .
His shirt was wet by her tears . The scent of his perfume rose , as given life by her tears.
He dug his fingers through her hairs, tightening his grip on the back of her head . As he bent down his head close to her, he heard her heartbeat from a distance. His three breaths and her six heartbeats happened. And he separated her from himself, pushed her away softly by his hand on her shoulder. With other hand he poured her water, handed her the glass, wiped her tears with the back of his hand and taking out another cigarette turned around.
Her hands trembling and wet by tears, lost the hold of the glass. It slipped and broke into pieces with a beautiful sound.
The sound disturbed Saiph, it reminded him of a painful memory. He turned to look at it and saw Bliss fallen on the broken pieces.
Her hand resting on the pointed glass pieces and other covering her face, behind which she was sobbing uncontrollably.
" Bliss, get up " ,he whispered and pulled her up to make her stand .
He made her sit on the couch , she didn't care about the wounds ,she was in much greater pain.
With his one arm around her, he picked out the buried glass pieces from her palm.
He remembered how last Christmas, Blue's mother held his hand , picked out the burnt flaking skin.
Her head was hidden in his chest, and her hand in his ,being treated .
She kept whimpering, Saiph- quite.
Saiph unrolled the black dressing from his hand, and wrapped it around hers.
" go home Bliss, have some rest. Do you want me to drop you? " he said while wrapping the bandage around her hand.
She shook her head.
