Ichijou Shizuka, a fifteen-year-old girl living her life as a Spirit Wielder and a student, is known as both a genius in art and magic.

Being the "Grand Summoner" of the Ichijou Clan, how will Shizuka face the twisted reality where she can't use magic again? What will she do to fix that?

What was the cause of her mother and sister's deaths? Was there someone behind it? How will she react to the bitter reality fate has brought to her? What will she do when she stands face to face with her brought-up pasts?

Our Story: Spirit Wielders

The said man nodded slowly, dreading to expect what happened next. "I'm afraid that you misunderstood our words. We broke that wall so we'll easily get out of here. We're trying to get the elderlies to tell us the procedures on resealing a beast."

Shizuka took a small step ahead. "That beast we're talking about is no joke. Please, it's not some sort of lie we made up just to get to your village. We have nothing to gain from attacking you-- we're students, for Gaia's sake!"

The female's words surprised them most. Possibly thinking of the same thing, 'High school students?!'

"We're not asking you to fight. We're not asking you to risk yourselves out there. WE'RE the ones fighting," Shizuka snapped and placed her hands on her hips. She eyed each one of them with slight anger burning inside of her.

Selfish Reasons
