Friend

"Anyone have any milk or some kind of reverse potion effect?" I asked everyone around me. They all shook their heads. The wither effect didn't look like it was getting any better. In fact, it looked like it was getting worse. "No no no no, Henry, stay with me." I pleaded. He was still alive, but not much. I thought back to when I had stabbed him. The rib breaking sound was oddly satisfying. But that was my evil self. And I hated myself for being so cruel.

"Do you know anyone who might bee good with potions?" Blue asked me. He must have shown up not too long and I didn't even notice.

"Well, I know Daniel knew a little more than me- that's it! I need to find Daniel!" I exclaimed as hope-filled my eyes.

"Wait, who is Daniel?" Don asked.

"Oh, he's someone I met.. in.. Herobrine's.. castle..." I then realized the flaw in my plan. There was no way he would help me now that I swapped sides. Was there? Maybe he secretly wanted to go against Herobrine all along. I may as well find out. I then remembered back to the plan.

Herobrine: "-and Bruce and Daniel will circle around the outside to make sure no one escapes."

"And I think I know where to find him." I smiled as my mind came up with a little plan.

-------------------------

I flew around the outskirts of the city, scanning the area for Daniel. Through the wall, I saw an outline of him. He was just walking around the wall as if on a casual hike. I smiled slightly and landed right in front of him. He jumped back, but then saw it was me and looked suddenly relieved.

"Oh! Hazel! It's only you.. fiew!" He said in relief.

"Do you have or know of any counterspells or potions for the Wither Effect?" I got straight to the point and asked. Daniel took a moment to think.

"Yeah, actually I- waaait.. Hazel? What exactly do you plan to do with the potion?"

"Weeeel..." I rubbed the back of my head, unsure of what to say. "Truth is, I need it for one of my friends. He is hurt really bad!" I pleaded.

"Wait, you went AGAINST Herobrine?! Does he know yet!?" Daniel jumped back suddenly as if I was carrying a virus.

"No, no no!. He has no idea, yet." I said as I waved my hands in front of myself to emphasize.

"And.. you aren't scared of him, f- finding out?" Daniel asked with a shaky voice. I stood straighter as I prepared to answer.

"Not one bit." I stated, full of determination.

"Then count me in." Daniel smiled.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, you have shown me that there is a lot more to life than fitting in. I want to do good for a change." Daniel told me. He stuck out his hand and I took it, and we shook hands, Minecraft style.

"So do you have the potion on you?" I asked Daniel when we were done with the handshake.

"Yeah, here you go." He then handed a light green potion to me. "I'll tell Bruce about this to see if he wants to join too." I began to fly off but was halted before I could go too far. "Remember, the potion is pretty strong! So only give your friend half of it! Too much and it would only kill him!" Daniel warmed me. I took that into 100% consideration because I didn't want to accidentally make things worse.

I zoomed back so quickly that the water in my eyes had a hard time not flying out. Once I got back everyone stepped away and I quickly poured half the bottle into Henry's mouth. I then put the potion back in my inventory and just sat on my knees waiting for Henry to wake up.

"Come on, come on Henry. Wake up.. please." I whispered under my breath. But he was still not moving. Then, the black that was slowly consuming him began reversing. Fast! And I really mean fast! Daniel was right, that potion really was strong! For a moment I had worried Daniel had lied to me, but, I no longer feared that. When all the wither effect was gone the healing potions kicked in and Henry's stab wound healed itself back up. We all watched as slowly, Henry opened his eyes.

"Henry! You're okay!" I whisper yelled excitedly. Henry just looked at everyone as he finished up recovering.

"Hazel?.." Henry whispered. "You're eyes, are, gold." He said.

"Really?" I asked as I looked over at everyone crowding around Henry.

"Yeah, that is what I meant by that your eyes were normal, sorta." Alix said. I couldn't see my eyes so I didn't exactly know what they looked like. They were gold. The whites of my eyes were, well white like they should be. But my pupils glowed a gold color instead of being their normal non-glowing hazel brown.

After a couple seconds Henry attempted standing but had to have help from Sarah and Jack. He was still pretty weak. But he was at least alive and healing quickly.

"...Sooo, what are we going to do now?" Don asked everyone. We all stood silent for a little bit.

"I'll tell you want we are going to do." I turned to face everyone, grabbing all their attention. "We are going to defeat Herobeine.. And I might even have an idea of how we are going to do that." I smiled. Everyone else did when they heard that I had a plan. And we all huddled as I went through the plan, every now and then the others giving ideas. It was go time. :]
