Doflamingo's Agenda (10/10)

A ridiculous motive flashed in Captain Cady's mind as he looked at the breezy-looking Longinus, "Could it be that they weren't faking it before, but were really fucking brutes?"

Barrelus likewise sucked in cold air, as a former captain of this headquarters, he was the one with a broader horizon than the others, but his heart shook more and more because of that.

"This cutting has been no less powerful than some of our Vice Admirals, right, and the two of them are really the younger generation? I kind of know now why Admiral Sengoku's words are so important to them, and judging by the attitude of both Captain Gion and Admiral Sengoku, Captain Longinus' capabilities are simply even stronger!"

"Is this the strength of the Marine? Is it the father he was once so proud of?" Dory clenched his hands unconsciously, "If father had this kind of strength back then, none of this would have happened, right? The reason he's like this, Father, must be because he hasn't grown strong enough!"

"What do we do now?" Gion asked weakly.

"Never mind, and don't worry too much about it, those two sniper bullets might be able to track down some of the information, too." Longinus smiled gently.

"That's good!" Seeing that Longinus didn't chastise herself for making a reckless move, Gion's heart settled a little, then turned to the group of pirates dumbstruck on the sea, "What about them? Want to dispose of it?"

"There's no point in them staying or not, so simply dispose of them!"

Hearing Longinus make light of his decision to live and die, Gustav then woke up from his trance and let out a disoriented and broken scream, "Wait wait wait wait, I will cast it."

Boom!

The gorgeous and brutal beheading ripped the ship apart, and Gustav, who hadn't been able to finish his sentence, didn't even have a trace left, as if he had been completely erased from the scene.

After seeing this brutal scene, Captain Cady perked up his legs and stood away from both of them, fearing that a disgruntled girl would make him vanish from the face of the earth.

The surrounding marine soldiers looked at the two as if they were gods, ignoring even the blackmail of the Donquixote family.

"Go back!"

Back at the 666th branch, Dory is momentarily in a dream when he sees Barrels struggling and hissing to be imprisoned.

Is that nightmare over yet?

"Dory."

At the sound of Longinus' voice, Dory saluted in awe, "Captain-dono."

"Just call me Captain Longinus."

"Yes!"

"Have you thought about the future path?"

"The future?" Dory was silent. Once, he was trying to escape that cage.

"Tell you what, I'll give you two options," Longinus narrated without any haste.

"First, I'll send you to the neighboring towns, where you can live in peace without fear that the sins your father committed will be perpetuated on you."

"Can I, who carry a sinful bloodline, really live on as a commoner?" Dory's heart mourned, then asked, "What about the second?"

"Second, I'll arrange for you to enter the Marines, but because of your father's status, if you do choose to join the Marines, you might encounter a lot of ostracism and oppression."

"I'll take the second." Without much hesitation, Dory quickly replied.

"Can you tell me why? It is not an easy path, and may be righteous in which battle as your mother did, or fall on the way to keeping it right as your father did."

"I don't know, maybe it's to atone for my sins."

"So ah, I'm clear!" Longinus sighed, "In case the others retaliate, you'll stay with me for the beginning of the period."

Dory was slightly agitated, and he naturally knew that Longinus was doing this to undercut the effects of that identity of his.

"Captain Longinus, may I change my name?"

"Change a name? It's fine, just think of it as making a parting with the past. How about the name Drake, in the olden days there was the meaning of snake and dragon, whether it is a snake or a dragon depends on the path you choose."

"Drake?" Dory chanted, "Thank you Captain, I'm more than satisfied."

...

During the night, four or five shadowy figures came together.

"What to do? What to do? The Vinsmoke family's killer is simply useless, and couldn't kill him in that situation!"

"I told you, a family of killers like Vinsmoke's intending to recover can't be trusted!"

"Idiot! All of you, shut up!" The tall, lanky Captain Cady growled, "I hadn't meant for two assassins to kill a captain of the headquarters like Longinus."

"Are you crazy? Why would you do it if you know you can't kill it?"

"That's right, don't drag us if you want to die yourself!"

"Idiot! Are you all in your heads? I value the strength of the Vinsmoke family itself, and the character of Longinus is certain that he will not rest after being assassinated."

Captain Cady smiled gloomily, "No matter what, Vinsmoke is a family with a growing technological power gained from Grand Line, and if they were to collide with Longinus, it would certainly help us erase the problem at its source!"

"Hiss! Captain Cady is as vile as ever, and really won't let us spoil it!"

"Hey! Captain Cady is worthy of being the meanest and most shameless one among us, and no wonder we are all only ensigns or lieutenant-commanders."

Cady's mouth twitched slightly, were these oblivious eights praising him or insulting him?

"However, judging by the strength he's shown today, the Vinsmoke family isn't really sure it's going to work, so we'll need a second plan."

"The second option, what's that?"

"Of course you're approaching the true king of the North Blue!"

...

Grand Line, in a luxurious villa.

"I'll say, I'll say." The scruffy uncle with the dragging snot was trying to stick it to Doflamingo, "Doffy, it's funny that a marine would surrender, solidly just an insignificant bunch of little people, ne, ne!"

Without moving a muscle, Doflamingo made his way past the snot splashing at his face from Trebol, trying to remain as graceful as possible, "Giant Crocodile Gustav, is there one of these under the family banner?"

"That guy is a temporary employee of the family." A savage who seemed to have come from an indigenous tribe said, "Of course he's just a useless piece of trash, but that marine dared to provoke you, Doffy, so he's got all the unforgivable faults!"

"It's so reliable, Diamante."

"Come on, Doffy, you make it sound like I'm a genius."

"Only you as a genius can make us feel so at ease."

"Come on, don't say that!"

"Then I won't say anything!"

"Since we've come to this point, I'll have to admit that I'm a genius!"

After the daily teasing of Diamante, Doflamingo gently shook his goblet, "But that marine is no sketchy character, you all remember the war that a year ago spawned in the New World, don't you?"

"Of course, that was a world-shaking battle." The tall, strong man said in a booming, discordant, tinny voice.

"That Marine named Longinus was the one who fought the big cadres under Whitebeard successively in that battle, and then also beheaded Queen Tiffany who had a 700 million bounty on her head, but it would be a big loss to underestimate him!"

"That guy is so strong!" Pica exclaimed in incredulous alarm.

"What about the family business in the North Blue? From what those marines say, Longinus is planning to uproot our base in the North Blue!"

"Fuffuffuffu!" Doflamingo let out a strange laugh of unspecified meaning, "A monster like Longinus should be able to ascend incredibly fast!"

While it wasn't clear what Dougherty's intention was in suddenly changing the subject, Diamante replied thoughtfully, "If we use those three monster Vice Admirals in the Marine as a reference, he should be promoted to Headquarters Vice Admiral in ten years at the most."

"Isn't this kind of monster that has a vision of becoming an Admiral or even a Fleet Admiral exactly what we're looking for?" Doflamingo cast his eyes on the man who had been silent with a beef patty glued to his face, "If he could become his right-hand man, he would surely climb to the top of the marine hierarchy with unimaginable speed!"

"So, Vergo, the bases of the North Blue will be yours as a gift to the Captain Longinus."

Vergo stopped eating and squared off, "Destroy the family base that was built with your own hands? That sounds like quite a lot of fun!"
