Talks and Scans

Isobel was waiting in Alasdair's cabin. Alasdair was out with Ry and Jayden had not arrived yet. The gate opened and in came a confused Jayden. His bafflement was clear on his face as he looked at Isobel sitting on the couch, nibbling on her lip. Jayden raised his pierced eyebrow in a silent question but was not replied with a response.

Jayden took a seat beside his partner and sat with the thick blanket of silence surrounding them. Jayden was stopped in the middle of hallway when Eli had told Jayden that Isobel had gone to the space-ship and asked for him to follow. 

The gate opened and a confused Alasdair walked in. When he took in the grave expression of Isobel, he called for Ry. He took a seat in front of her and joined the silence.

Moments later on the gate opened again and Ry walked in and took a seat. Only after his presence was the silence broken.
