Chapter 7

On the train heading to Junkerton, Jack was managing his inventory and about to put his stats into his system when he got a notification from his system.

Jack looked at his system in surprise and became a bit peeved to see his levels have vanished, but the changes in the system would allow for quicker updates on the system and he also got something from the system thanks to the update.

[Host has received 1x Med-bot (MVM)]

This was huge as it allowed him to take damage and be able to continue healing with the med-bot healing him along with the ability to go Uber.

As Jack was inwardly cheering at the med-bot summon, a loud explosion echoed throughout the train as he could hear whoops, cheering and gunfire to the left of him. He looked out the window and saw a large quantity of bandits with a large amount of scrap guns in various buggies. He could see the bandits jumping onto the train as he began to arm himself from his inventory with his rocket launcher with a grin as he imagined the potential gains from destroying the attacking bandits.

He heard the other civilians begin to panic as the bandits began to attack them. Jack whipped out his shotgun and charged out. He nearly collided with a bandit who slashed at Jack with a chain knife. Jack blocked the blow with shotgun and grunted at the exertion from the blow.

The bandit yelled into his ear as Jack pushed him back and cocked the shotgun to blow a hole into the bandit. He holstered his shotgun and pulled out the Capper to search through the train to find more bandits.

A group of five bandits were stealing from the civilians on the train and heard the blast of a shotgun from the next train car over.

"That was loud, hey Scratch go check that out!"

The named bandit growled at the order but nonetheless went to check it out. The now four bandits continued to loot but then began hearing a laser blasting sound with a scream of pain with some more laser blasts. They heard some boots tromping over to their cart. They saw a big man wearing a red soldier uniform with grenades on his chest holding a pistol that looks like a toy. The four bandits were a little wary of the soldier but thought that the Queen would love that pistol the man had. One of the bandits charged the soldier with a spiked bat. The soldier calmly changed weapons to a FUCKING rocket launcher and blew the bandit to smithereens.

"Never bring a bat to a battlefield, war is not a game." said the soldier.

"Holy Shit, I am not fighting that guy, lets get outta here guys!" said one of the bandits.

"You cannot run from me, my gun is faster." said the soldier as he fired more rockets at the rest of the bandits.

The rest of the bandits tried to scramble out of the way but the splash damage destroyed them. The car that Jack was in was thoroughly destroyed and Jack went out the back to see if there more bandits he get rid of.

The bandits after hearing the big explosion got of the train to the rest of the buggies and noticed that one of the groups did not return so they knew that something must have happened to them.

Jack saw that the bandits have left so he was happy that the attack was over so the train could continue to head to Junkerton.
