George stared at each gate in wonder, each one of them was unique.
'Those scenes I saw, I think it showed me what I can become if I chose one of them...It reminds me of some games I have played. The Gate of Elements makes me a Mage, the Gate of Gears into a Warrior and the Gate of Beasts...well a Beast Tamer I think...' Analyzed George who was still shocked from the Gate of Beasts.
His thoughts were interrupted when he noticed a single light suddenly rush towards the Gate of Elements, vanishing after entering it.
That single light was the turning point, so many other lights around him began to rush into the three different gates.
George stared silently how millions of lights vanished into the gates as they entered through them.
'Are those the people who chose a gate...' Asked George himself while wondering which gate his mother and little brother would choose...
George looked at the three gates for the last time.
'Well, the choice is pretty obvious in my case! I chose you!'
The invisible force appeared again the moment he decided which gate to enter and he was pulled rapidly towards it.
His vision became totally black the moment he entered the gate...
It lasted only for a few seconds before the darkness cleared and he found himself standing on a grassfield.
George stood there with his mouth wide open, new information pouring into his mind and he immediately went through it.
He turned around when he heard noises from his back and smiled.
A black colored wolf puppy was walking slowly towards him and George smiled warmly at it.
"It's kinda cute..." Muttered George as he pictured how some girls would go crazy over such a cute wolf puppy.
The wolf puppy stopped in front of George, staring at him with curiosity while sniffing.
George's smile grew wider while his dark eyes locked into it, "Hey little fellow, aren't you a cute one?"
The wolf puppy tilted its head to the side, suddenly revealing a row of unnatural sharp fangs. It pounced immediately at him with its sharp claws out, aiming for his chest while opening its mouth wide, aiming for his throat.
The image of a cute looking wolf puppy was shattered and the puppy was already imaging how it would feast on the weak looking unknown creature but...
Its eyes widened when it saw the strange creature step easely to the side, avoiding its attack.
It wasn't the end, a fist came its way and it had no way to doge as it was still in the air.
The puppy howled in pain as it was sent flying. The wolf puppy shook its head after landing on the grass when it froze on the spot. It looked up and saw the strange creature looming over it.
The tall creature threw a shadow over it and the wolf puppy felt a chill run down its spine when it noticed how the creature was staring at it.
'It isn't weak at all! This strange creature fooled me!' Thought the wolf puppy as its instincts urged it to flee.
It wanted to turn around to escape but the strange creature moved first, the wolf puppy sneered as it dodged to the side but its eyes widened in shock when it noticed that the hand changed it's direction before it even moved. It panicked but it was too late, the hand grabbed it by its neck, lifting it up.
George observed the shivering wolf puppy he just catched, putting more strength into his grip which caused the puppy to howl in pain.
'Cute but deadly...Interesting, I only have five tries and can only catch three beast in this world...This wolf puppy isn't what I want...' Thought George as he held the helpless puppy up to check it.
He sighed, 'This little puppy would have at least injured me gravely if I didn't notice its unusual movements...'
He threw the terrified puppy aside, "Piss off!"
The puppy nodded its head and was just about to run towards the forest near the grassfield when the strange creature shouted, "Stop right there!"
The puppy froze on the spot, regretting its choice to mess with the wrong opponent.
George grabbed the wolf puppy again by its neck, "Do you understand what I say?"
The wolf puppy acted cute, nodding its head.
A creepy smile bloomed on his face that made the wolf puppy feel uncomfortable.
"Good! Do you know where I can find dragons?" Asked George.
The wolf puppy stared blankly at him and George shook it until it nodded its head while crying, lamenting that it was catched by a lunatic.
George wouldn't have treated it like that if it hadn't tried to kill him earlier.
"Good then lead me to them and I will let you go, I will turn your life into a real hell if you try anything funny, now go!" Said George in a dead serious tone.
The wolf puppy nodded again as it was released. It pointed at a direction with its paw.
George nodded, "Good, lead the way!"
He followed right behind the wolf puppy through various regions. He enjoyed the incredible fresh air around him, every breath he took seemed to make him more energetic...
George took the time to digest the new information inside his mind.
He chose the Gate of Beasts for a special reason, it was because his absolute favorite game was Pokemon. He played almost all the games released from Game Freak since he was a little kid until now. He loved to play as a Pokemon Trainer that only used Dragon-Type Pokemons. George sometimes even dreamed about Pokemons. So he decided for the Gate of Beasts that had countless beasts that he could catch and dragons too. He would have chosen the Gate of Elements otherwise because he didn't fancy close combat, it was too boring for him...
George touched the spot between his eyebrows, making a white star come out from his head, that floated above his palm.
'So this is my Astral Star...It's thanks to this thing that I will be able to catch the beasts I want. But this isn't Pokemon and not a game...I fear that I might be killed by a beast living here if I don't act carefully...' Thought George as he recalled his Astral Star that was as small as a rice grain back into his head.
He followed the wolf puppy for a few hours, discovering and observing all kinds of different beasts from afar in wonder.
George noticed that all the beasts he had seen were still in their infant state, "This place is like a beginner zone..."
He saw how the wolf puppy began to tremble, refusing to continue. It pointed at the valley further ahead, between the mountains while howling in fear.
George looked down at it, 'This little guy is too scared to continue, it seems that I'm on my own now.'
He rubbed the head of the wolf puppy, "Well done, you can go back now."
His words sounded like a divine decree to the wolf puppy as it howled in happiness before rushing back.
"Haha" George laughed for a moment, turning around and staring at the mountain range further ahead.
He put his hands inside the pockets of his Adidas tracksuit, looking forward with excitement.
