Because of the sudden approach, Bonnie had no words. However, he reached out his hand to her, which she had no choice but to give to him as her mouth slowly parted.
He took Bonnie's hand and placed a silent and gentle kiss on the back of her palm. She froze as her eyes widened in response. He let go of her hand and turned his attention to his brother, Acelen, who was clearly not having it.
"Brother. I see you brought a rather.. appetizing, meal with you today." Zythe said.
Bonnie looked up at Acelen, who had a look that said 'I could murder millions' on his face. She didn't question it because it was probably true.
Acelen grabbed my hand which his brother had planted that kiss on, and pettily brushed it as if to brush off the kiss.
"Zythe. I see you've made us well aware of your... presence." Acelen said, obviously annoyed.
"Yes, somewhat so. Mostly because a smell as strong as this one is irresistible. I hope you'll let me try." Zythe went on, as he grabbed a loose lock of Bonnie's hair and fondled with it. Bonnie looked up at the man who was towering over her and touching her hair.
She noted how Zythe was almost as tall as Acelen and much more forward than she would be grateful for. She couldn't help but think what if it was him who had found her that day.
"Don't count on it. That's enough. Do let us get settled in." Acelen said while swatting his brother's hand away.
Zythe gave a mischievously cheeky smile as Acelen turned his back and gestured for Bonnie to go ahead. While she went ahead, Acelen decided to make something clear.
He teleported to Zythe quickly and grabbed his collar, lifting him off the floor. Zythe remained unfazed as his gaze did not waver.
"Don't get any ideas in that twisted head of yours," Acelen said, obviously bothered by his younger brother's actions. His younger brother chuckled as he spoke, leaving an unattended tension in the air.
"I'm only greeting her aren't I?" Zythe said amusedly. He had his hands to the sides of his shoulders while gesturing his brother to calm down.
"Right. Here's your reminder that what's mine is mine." Acelen said releasing his grip from his brother's shirt.
He turned and started to walk away when his brother's annoying voice rang in his ears once more.
"And what's yours, I yearn to have." Zythe continued. The tone in his voice was sneaky as if he was sneaking up Acelen's leg.
Acelen chuckled as he continued walking.
"Right."
"Acelen!? You never told me where our... room would be! Where are you, you-" Just as Bonnie had turned around the corner, her words cut out. She had just caught a glimpse of Acelens eye turning back to its original gray. She also looked further past him to which she saw Zythe.
Zythe was obnoxiously and hyperly waving to her. She gave him a short smile and ran up to Acelen.
"You... what's up?" Bonnie genuinely asked.
"It's nothing." He said ending the conversation and walking past her. He didn't wanna leave her curious because he had a feeling she might dwell on it so he spoke again.
"Don't worry about me," said Acelen.
"How could I not worry about—," she looked up at Acelen who still had his back turned to her.
"Never mind. You're right." She said in agreement.
Bonnie caught up to Acelens side and once she did, they continued on their way to their room for the next few nights.
Zythe's amused expression quickly turned to an expression of pure hatred and jealousy. When he had mentioned earlier that he must have what belongs to his brother, he was telling the truth.
His jealousy of his brother brewed out of always being second, even when it came to birth. His parents never intentionally did so.... actually, knowing them they might of.
He doesn't have hatred for his brother, but sometimes that gets mixed in with the jealousy he has. He must have what his brother already has.
And if that's Bonnie,
So be it.

Acelen had finally led they way to where they'd be sleeping. Once they'd opened the room Bonnie's jaw had dropped.
The room was quite beautiful and the decor was to die for. But there was one issue with it all. The issue was big enough to completely wipe the smile off her face.
Acelen had already proceeded in the room and set the few of his things down. He looked back and Astrid had looked completely flushed. He looked around the room in confusion to wondering what could be causing her to make that face. In the end, he came up with nothing.
"Uh-... There's only one bed..?" Said Bonnie.
