Chapter 13: I will never leave you

Pharaoh works hard in the throne room. He is weak. His physical condition never let him work so hard. But he has to work. One day he is busy in the hearing of a trial of a man who commits adultery. The trial goes smoothly. Suddenly Anmatre feels that his head starts to spin. The courtiers notice that their Pharaoh becomes pale.So they carry him to his chamber. They also call their queen.

Asiya is sitting by the window. Suddenly her servant, Nina runs towards her. She finds Nina panting. The servant girl tells her, "Your majesty! His majesty is sick. He is very weak. He fells on the floor in the middle of the trial. Then he faints."

Hearing this words Asiya feels her world is split. She runs after Nina.

Now she is at the throne room. Haran is already there. He inspects Pharaoh. Asiya asks Haran, "Is anything wrong, Haran?"

"No, Your Majesty." Replies the physician." I think His Majesty needs more rest. Did he sleep properly last night?"

Asiya remembers one thing. No, Anmatre does not sleep properly. He becomes excited for his child. Asiya tries to find a way to make him asleep. But she fails. All the night he stays awake staring at her. Whenever she feels the child's movement, she wakes up. She notices that another child also stares at her. Yes, another child. That is Anmatre. He looks so cute whenever he stares at her.

"Why are you still awake?"She asks him.

"I am thinking." Anmatre replies.

"You are still thinking, at this hour? Please Pharaoh, don't tell me that you are worrying about the child."

" I am sorry. But I can not stop doing it."

Asiya replies rather angrily, "My Pharaoh!  You need to rest.  Let me think about the child. Because it is I who am carrying the child, not you. You at least be concerned about your health. And please do not die and make me widow and the child  orphan. I beg of you."

Hearing these words, Pharaoh laughs making Asiya more furious. At one point she gets on him and starts to beat him. But they both enjoy it. Both laugh and then throw pillow at each other. Pharaoh is careful not to hurt her. So Asiya easily beats him with pillow. Then they both realize that the pillow is at its worse condition. The feathers inside it fly around the chambers.

"Look what have you done to the poor pillow? How can I sleep now?" Pharaoh asks scratching his head.

"Oh, I am sorry. But if you want, then I can lend you mine." Asiya replies holding her pillow to him.

He takes the pillow without saying anything. Then he does what he is not supposed to do. He holds the woman and then places her head on his chest. She is surprised. But he holds her firmly against his chest.

He calls her by her name and she responds immediately.

He tells her, "Remember that I will never leave you and our child." With that he kisses on her head.

But at the late night, he feels pain in his right hand, which keeps him awake the rest of the night but he never let his queen know. But Asiya can also feel it. She can feel that this man is changed.

And he is changed.

With that his repentance starts.
