Yasuhiro hated small rooms. He felt confined in them. He always thought it was the nature of his quirk which led to his dislike. His quirk let him be free and whenever he was in a small room he felt as if he was in prison. Perhaps he just hated being alone in rooms.
"Principal Nezu will see you now." Nezu's secretary said as she entered the waiting room.
"Thank you."
She led him to the Principals office and left him at the door.
He entered through the door and he almost stepped on Nezu. He was standing right in front of the door. His small little eyes gazing at Yasuhiro.
He put his hands out as if he was asking to be lifted up so Yasuhiro complied. He lifted him up and placed him on his shoulder.
"First I'd like to congratulate you on winning the sports festival. I'm sure tons of heroes will be looking to get you for their internships. Secondly, I'd like to have a cup of tea with you."
He was only a fan of orange flavoured tea and that was hard to come by in Japan since the main ingredient was exported from Sri Lanka. He tried making his own cup but the taste wasn't the same. It was meant to be fruity, sweet and light while his tea was rough and bitter but maybe that was just his own incompetence in the kitchen.
He placed Nezu down on his chair and took a seat for himself.
"A few people didn't seem to like how unenthusiastic you were at the sports festival, they wanted a bit more of a show. For some people, it's all about entertainment." Nezu said as he sipped his tea.
"Oh, well I was trying my best so I don't really care about what they have to say." Yasuhiro went to grab his cup but it was hot so he left it.
"That's always interested me. For someone so lazy you seem to try the hardest. Why do you want to be a hero? Someone like you could become a banker or a lawyer but you settled on becoming a hero. Is it a personal reason or is there something that dragged your heart to be a hero?" He asked.
That was true. Deep down Yasuhiro knew that he didn't have to listen to his dads will in fact he could have gone completely against it. Part of him felt like he was doing it out of respect but that wasn't it. He didn't know why he did it. He didn't like heroes all that much and he didn't want to be one at all. Maybe it was to make his mother feel better? She was in a state of depression after his father had died so he needed to support her as much as he could.
"I don't know the answer to that."
"How interesting. I'm sure that answer will come to you soon enough."

Yasuhiro was jealous of clouds. He believed that clouds were the freest thing in the world. They didn't have to worry about anything and only went where the wind took them.
Maybe that's what he wanted in life:
Freedom.
He didn't want to have to regret the past and worry about the future. He didn't want to face the present. He wanted to have nothing worry about. He wanted to dance in the air taking in all the fresh air that it had to offer.
Quietness. He wanted a place where he could block out all his troubles.
Sometimes he hated having to think to himself. He couldn't share what he thought in his head and they increased every time he noticed them.
He wanted meaning.
He was tired of searching for answers every day. He knew they could be found but they were just out of his grasp.
Yasuhiro sighed and turned the knob of the class 1-A door. The first period was an extended lesson so instead of 50 minutes it was an hour and 40 minutes long.
He missed the first 40 minutes of the lesson so he had an hour left.
He entered the class and to his surprise, Midnight was teaching the class.
He made his way over to his seat and sat down. He knew what was going on so he didn't need to be told what was going on.
He was going to use his real name. Toshiaki Yasuhiro had a nice ring to it and was easy to remember.
The class continued and continued. Some names were horrible while some were perfect in representing them as what kind of hero they'd be.
"This is the name I chose." He said as he showed his name to the class.
"Are you sure about that? Hero names will stick with you for your entire career."
"Yeah I'm sure, It's a short and simple name to remember."

After all the code names were chosen, Aizawa gave out the application sheets for the internships.
As Nezu said he got a lot of offers from all types of heroes.
He had an offer from the 4th ranking hero, Best Jeanist and the number 10 hero Gang Orca. But his eyes settled for one hero.
"You probably have a lot of different offers to look through Yasuhiro," Uraraka said from beside him.
"I guess, I already have one in mind but who knows?"
His eyes wandered down to the Number 5 hero, Edge Shot.
