"Yasuhiro you should read it. It's a great book. A story of two lovers who are separated and have to find each other again however the cruel unforgiving world they live in won't let them be in peace." Momo said with glee.
"I agree. The book was amazing. I especially liked the teary goodbye between the lovers in the 2nd chapter." Itsuka chimed in.
"You're into this sort of thing? I just thought all romance was smut." Yasuhiro said.
"It's not like that," Momo said with embarrassment in her voice.
Momo, Itsuka and Yasuhiro were going to the same general location so they decided to go together.
"My mother reads these kinds of books. I didn't think you'd read it. "
"Your mother is a woman of amazing taste," Itsuka said.
"Well, I'm an only child so I don't have any siblings I started reading them to pass time. Over time I slowly I became addicted." She laughed.
"Understandable. Though I'm happy being an only child. I hate children."
"I also have no siblings. I wouldn't particularly like one but I wouldn't mind it."
"I'd love for a sibling. I think he'd be so cute and adorable."
"Eugh. It puts a sour taste in my mouth just thinking about."
"You're just scared of being replaced Yasuhiro~," Momo said in teasing tone.
"Impossible. In the eyes of my mother, I'm the only." Yasuhiro was confident of that fact.
"Are you excited about your internship, Toshiaki-Kun? An entire week of Shadowing heroes and getting first-hand experience!" Itsuka said full of passion and emotion.
"I guess. I don't know how I feel about walking for a week but the fact I get to see a hero work is interesting to think about."
"You really are lazy," Itsuka said. She felt as if he took the life out of a conversation.
"You should see him on a regular day. This is him being enthusiastic." Momo sarcastically quipped.
"I'll have you know that I can be passionate about certain things such as making tea."
"You make tea? That's an odd hobby."
"Momo you'd be surprised at how calming it can be. Though it always tastes horrible." Yasuhiro laughed.
"I should try it one day then. I trust you are a reliable source of information, being the calmest person I've met."
"I don't like tea, I prefer plain milk. Makes my bones as strong as steel. Helps with my quirk too."
"I actually prefer orange juice. I think I'm an addict."
"I may not look it but I'm a coffee girl. I love different types of coffee and tasting them." Momo said.
"You two are going to Snake hero right?"
"Yeah, I can't wait to fight villains with a pro-hero!" Kendo said.
"I wouldn't count on it. Uwabami is more of a celebrity than a hero. You'll probably be watching her acting more than fighting." Yasuhiro laughed. He was someone who was aware of the standing of heroes and their attitudes, heroism was more of a side job to Uwabumi.
"Just you watch Yasuhiro, We'll be doing patrols and hero work. She wouldn't invite two girls just to make them do nothing right?" Kendo said nervously not knowing whether he was right or wrong.
-----------------
Yasuhiro knocked on the door of the agency which he was meant to be attending. He waited a few minutes for an answer and did not receive one.
He waited for 5 more minutes before knocking again. This time the door opened however there was no one on the other side.
Yasuhiro walked inside and the corridor was quite narrow. Yasuhiro could touch both the walls with his hands without stretching at all. The corridor was also incredibly dark.
Yasuhiro took a few steps forward before he noticed a glimmer in the light. He reflexively ducked and the door behind him had a very thin hole in it.
"One must never neglect defence, especially when attacking." A cool-sounding voice came from the other side of the corridor. "If that had pierced you I would have told you to leave immediately."
"I didn't come all the way here to get sent back home. While I wouldn't mind it, the train ride was 3 hours long."
The room began to shift and the corridors widened to reveal a dojo.
Directly opposite Yasuhiro was an oddly dressed man, at least that's what Yasuhiro thought of his costume.
"Our quirks are similar, it allows us to evade attacks, however, we should not think we are invincible. Those who think they are untouchable often die or are injured beyond repair." He monologued.
"You have someone with a quirk to change the layout of the building? Quite interesting."
Edge shot ignored Yasuhiro's blatant rudeness and continued what he was saying.
"Your internship here will consist of three things. 1 - We will do daily patrols in the city of Hosu, 2 - We will do daily training and spars in this room with myself and a few others and finally we will be doing an investigation on the hero killer - Stain." He explained.
"The first and last point are the same aren't they?" Yasuhiro asked. He was aware that the Hero Killer was seen in Hosu, so investigations were being conducted/
"The Hero Killer has been in Hosu so I've been given the task of investigating it. I was initially going to decline it since I don't believe I'm a hero suited for it. However, since I decided to take you on, I think It'd be an interesting experience for both of us."
"The Hero Killer? How interesting. Though he's a bit above my skill level, I wonder what type of person he is."
Yasuhiro was interested in whether he had a philosophy a reason. It was either that or he was just insane and did it for the thrill. Yasuhiro would like it to be the former. He was interested in villains who had a philosophy. They were hard to analyse seeing that most of the time they seemed like regular humans with just a crazy goal or creed which they live by.
"We'll have to wait and see won't we?"
