Help

At the centre of the city was a group of soldiers. This group consisted of 40 men, a tank and three turreted SUV. They were slowly being overrun due to the seemingly endless amount of zombies which continued to flow towards them. Their only option to survive would be to escape. However, even this seemed almost impossible.

As the hoards kept coming, the group was slowly running out of ammo and still no opening for escape. Soon their number of 40 men was cut down to 30 then 27 then just 20. It seemed they were fated to be eaten alive by the undead.

When all hope of survival had been lost a huge explosion set off in the middle of the hoard. The men were, for a second, stunned. But they quickly got back to shooting. Then another boom as another explosion went off in the hoard.

Soon the soldiers saw from where the explosions were coming from. In the distance was a tank coming towards them extremely fast.

'Was this back up?' some of the soldiers thought. This possibility was soon put out of their heads as they remembered that their line of command had been completely broken and that they were out here on their own accord.

Then maybe it was another group which had decided to do the same as them and try saving lives. Either way, they wouldn't find out unless they survived this mess they had gotten themselves into.

Out of nowhere, a black monster of a car began tearing up the crowd of zombies. As the car got closer to them it began to slow down until finally it skidded and screeched to a stop a little bit in front of them.

A man, dressed in the apparel of a soldier soon opened the door. As he got out they saw what the man was holding. In his hands was a minigun.

Before the soldiers even had the chance to take in what had just happened, the minigun began rotating. Instantly a loud and unending streak of bangs rang out in the streets. Bullet shells fell to the ground but could not be heard due to the unyielding strength of the gunfire.

The bullets flew out towards the undead, tearing them to shreds in the process. Each bullet did not stop after a single zombie and instead travelled through multiple. Soon there was a visible dent in the zombies' hoard.

Finally, the soldiers came back to their senses and began helping out as much as they could. All of a sudden the monsters in front of them didn't seem so terrifying.

The sound of a tanks engine could be heard as it continued to approach them at high speeds. When it reached the hoard it pummeled through the waves of zombies until it got to the soldiers. Instantly Everyone knew what to do as they all got into their vehicles and followed the tank. The tank ploughed through the hoard which had begun to build up behind the soldiers. and eventually, everybody made it out. Everybody except one.

"Hahaha, all these exp will be mine. I will grow back to my original strength in no time!" screamed the maniac as he sprayed down the unending hoard.

It had been 5 minutes of constant zombies before Zed realised that they were beginning to close in on him. Aside from this, he had also managed to run out of a full two miniguns worth of ammo. He had only set up two of them with the chain of bullets loaded and so this meant it was time to leave.

Willing the minigun to disappear did exactly that. The gun was now in his inventory and in its place was his blade. Zed began moving through the hoard to his car which was still running. Once he got in the car immediately ripped through the remaining hoard. It was rather easy since the path which Kagami's tank had made had not been fully blocked just yet.

....

Kagami sat on top of his tank in the middle of a parking lot surrounded by about 15 soldiers. This parking lot was surrounded by 6 large buildings with gates between each one. In other words, it was a private parking spot. Zed had told Kagami about this place. He had said for him to meet him back here once they had escaped.

"What happened to the other guy with you?" said a young African-American soldier.

Finally, the silence had been broken and Kagami looked towards the one who had done so. "He'll be fine. I think he just wanted to kill a few more of those things" Kagami said once he had located the man.

"Does anyone know what in Gods good name is happening out there?" asked a soldier of obviously high ranking. This soldier seemed to be an experienced and elder man, however, he was still in every sense of the phrase 'an all American soldier'. Although his hair was snow-white his muscles bulged.

One of the soldiers looked at the man weirdly as if he had just asked something dumb, "What do you think happening dumbass? It's a fucking zombie apocalypse!"

All of a sudden the soldiers began arguing between themselves until Kagami broke it up. "Quiet, just speak normally and I'll answer your questions. Firstly this is an apocalypse scenario. All contact with our higher-ups have been cut off and civilisation as we know it has collapsed. There is currently no America, no China and no Germany. We only have us for the time being. Any more questions?

" Yeah, I got one. Who is in charge?" asked another young soldier.

Without even a second the same high ranking soldier spoke out, "I am by the looks of it the highest-ranking here. Therefore I should be in charge according to the-"

Before the soldier could complete his sentence Kagami interrupted him, "I believe I have already said it. This isn't America anymore. Everything you once believed is gone and now you will either follow my leader and become stronger then you could have ever imagined, or you leave here today and will be torn apart by those monsters beyond that gate."

The soldiers began to whisper amongst themselves. Their higher-ups still hadn't contacted them. They also would have died if it were not for that man and his boss. The most important thing of all would be getting their family to safety which was something which they might be able to achieve with these warriors strengths.

In the end, almost every one of them knew it. None of them were fit to lead this group and the only hope of saving their families was to come together under someone strong. Humans can really adapt quickly even when under immense pressure.
